I learned two useful things today. A quick way to hack a usb adapter to use a receiver and that the trainer port outputs PPM. Thank you.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But it would also be possible (and easier) to use a 3.5mm stereo plug instead of soldering to the PCB? Signal (white) on tip, 5V (red) on 1st ring and the GND. EDIT: just measured when dongle connected and it leaves 5V on the tip and not on first ring so I suppose it won't work.

The reason I made the cable was to connect a receiver : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IjLYAwupP4c.html in that case as servo wire was needed. RU-vid no longer shows me if you are subscribed. Please consider subscribing if you have not done so already!

@@1nformatica je pense qu'il voulais dire d'utiliser la fiche jack stéréo soudé a la prise futaba (par contre je ne sais pas de mon coté associer les 3 fils pour qu'il correspondent pour se brancher ensuite sur le dongle)

@@gilbertdelaplace2056 Oui, vous pouvez utiliser la prise jack bien sûr. Tout l'intérêt de la vidéo, c'est que je voulais me connecter à un récepteur donc j'ai dû mettre le câble.

Can you share pictures connection from reciver rc to USB dongle. Wire 5v,ground ,signal connection solder

You can see here : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IjLYAwupP4c.html +5 volts and ground from the USB connector. The signal wire goes to the "tip" of the socket used to connect a transmitter. Please consider subscribing if you have not done so already!

I finish already solder connection wire 5v, Ground, and signal.connect to futaba reciver 8ch.reciver led indicator green light on.simulator has been detect transmitter.but no function all axis I try callibration but not popup yellow line callibration.how to fix.i see your instructions .my doggle USB not same to your dogle USB board

Yes, it has been the worst cold weather in Spain in more than 50 years, -25° in some places! Not only that but the latest COVID restrictions only allow 4 people at the flying site ;-( Hope all's well with you.

@@1nformatica It's been pretty snowy here in Perthshire but only minus 2 or 3 so we've managed ok! We're used to real winters here as you'd imagine.

@@gartmorn Different story here! I have an old Spanish house that is designed to be cool in Summer, which it is. However in this extreme cold trying to heat it is akin to lighting a candle in the Albert Hall!!

Hola saludos de Uruguay vi tu video y lo hice para usar el Phoenix 5 con una Radiomaster TX16 S para usar en Helicipteros 6 canales est dificil hacer las mesclas en el simulador no me doy cuenta por donde puedo estar fallando hago las meclas en un Helicoptero real y todo correcto ..pero bueno la señal est sera seguir insistiendo ..la radiomaster es tambien muy complicada de programar y más con helicpoteros 6ch

Hola, haría una copia de tu modelo de helicóptero en el Radiomaster y usaría esa copia (en caso de que la estropees) para controlar tu simulador. De esa forma todas las mezclas que tengas deberían funcionar igual. ¡Un saludo desde Andalucía!

Gracias por responder llegue a la conclusión que puedo tener problema en la señal corregime si me equivoco logro hacer las mesclas lo trimo simple para sacar de dudas de inicio bien pero se enloquece como si se te rompiera un servi de golpe tanto ELE como Ail jugué con el centrado de los servos tampoco me recuerda a la controladora Aling 3gx antes de programar dejar todos los trim en cero si no hace esto ..bueno seguiré probando por lo menos tengo señal y obedece gracias te comento si lo logro

He he, nothing gets past you eh! From the Rx all is normal AETR, not sure whether it is the dongle or sim which is messing them around. One day when I have less time I'll take a look!!
