Yes, it's rare to find a complete system "out of the box". Nothing else needed to get into the air. I'm really looking forward to flying it soon. Thanks for watching, have a great day!
You greased that landing. I just bought this plane in 202 and started building it. Reminds me of the old GWS planes when it comes to building. Except GWS instructions and fitment were top-notch. I miss that company. GWS warbirds were fun to build and airbrush to look scale. The best part was GWS sold retracts for their 900mm warbirds. I still have my Corsair F4U, The Cargo Trans, the Slow Stick, and the P51-D Mustang. I don't fly them much anymore because I'm afraid to ruin them. Thanks for your videos they helped e with my build. That was fun to watch, and for sure I could not fly something so twitchy, but you did really well, and it really does look like a surfer dude riding a wave... Well done!
Bro does it shows the current in 2 direction. I mean . If fix it in my inverter battery side . Does is shows both charging and discharging current? Plz bro . Reply soon .very urgent 😢plz plz plz
A very good question! I have just setup a test. What happens is that the values do not go negative. They indicate the correct values but not the "direction" also the mAh still increase either way!
At least your Surfer Dude survived better than some young fellah down the Mid-North Coast of NSW a few days ago. Local "Jaws" decided luncheon was served and bit a leg clean off. Made it to the beach where, luckily, an off-duty copper hog-tied the stump and saved his life. Who says you can never find 1 when you need 1?! The leg also washed up later, was recovered and sent off to the hospital after its owner - no word yet if the surgeons had tried to re-attach it. Reminds me of an old now long-gone colleague who made a serious mistake at his bush sawmill - chopped off most of the fingers of 1 hand. Wrapped it up and high-tailed it for the hour+ distant medical help. Someone went out the next day and retrieved some of the digits but the summer heat, blow flies and butcherbirds made effort worthless! 😱😵💫🙄
Unfortunately our field is located next to the local dog pound so it's part of the deal! Wonder if Audacity has a bark removal plugin!! Thanks for watching, have a great day!
I love RU-vid channels like yours! 🙄👍❤The world of Rc planes is about experiments, it's not just about buying a plane ready to fly you have to try to build the flying witch "Lulubella Rc" 🙂The flight is rather stable, you have videos on RU-vid
While anything is possible if you have the time and patience, i would say it's not worth the effort. You can buy the colour version for less than €20 s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Dequ7dd Thanks for watching, have a great day!
I just got mine from aliexpress and it is a nice little unit. I have a couple of power supply from pc. I need a case? Any reply appreciated cheers from Australia subbed and liked 👍
Hey thanks! You don't really need a case but it makes for a much neater look. There is a link to the 3D printed one I made in the video description. Have a great day!
So true! I laugh when I see Motion RC and the like selling foamies for hundreds of Euros when You can have as much (or more) fun with a €5 glider!! Thanks for watching, have a great day!
Hi!! Great video 🙌 I have a 2TB WD ELEMENTS BLACK USB 3.0 2.5 external drive? The PC does not detect it on port 3.0, but on 2.0, on that port it appears fine in the device manager, in the disk manager it appears uninitialized and when initialized it says non-existent device. When you connect it, the LED turns on, it makes 7 beeps and then. 3 beeps and then 3 more beeps and it stops. Will there be a solution? Or Could it be a head or motor failure?. Thanks!
Thank you Sir for the Rc hobby Reviews ! But let me ask can it convert 4 channels of PWM into S-Bus ? I want such a converter but am not sure where to find it.
I have to repair a small nylon gear with a diameter of 32mm and 107 teeth, which has broken due to shrinkage of the nylon. I have already reinforced the inner circumference with 0.3mm steel wire, but I have to add 2 teeth to return to the original diameter. I want to fill and mold those teeth with some resin, but I have already tried without success (it doesn't stick) two-component epoxy resins such as Nural92 from Patex, Loctite gel with bicarbonate or graphite binders. In this case I cannot apply heat because of how small and delicate the area is. 3D printing also doesn't give me enough resolution or strength in the 0.6mm teeth.
You don't say what the gear is from but have you exhausted all options for replacement from the manufacturer or other sources like Aliexpress, loads of gears there! Otherwise you're going to have to make one, see link below especially the video by Randi Rain : www.google.com/search?q=replicating+broken+nylon+gear&rlz=1C1ASUM_enES692ES692&oq=replicating+broken+nylon+gear&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigAdIBCjIwNjMzajBqMTWoAgiwAgE&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Thanks for watching, have a great day!
@@1nformatica The gear is the only plastic part of the fine focusing system on a 1970s Nikon microscope. It uses a nylon gear in a planetary gearbox. Supports the weight of the plate and the condenser. The original spare part became brass, but they stopped supplying it a long time ago. ru-vid.comD7kp5wm6dYw
Yes, I could have done that on my 3D printer, there are many gear designs on Thingiverse etc. But, printing Nylon is a nightmare, also the fix I made was much simpler! Thanks for watching, have a great day!
Thanks for the video! Watch the video a couple time but couldn´t find the part where / how you removed the usb section. I can see a screw in the inside. Just pressing didn´t work. Any tip is apreciated.
You're welcome! You have to be brave to remove the USB plug! I used a wooden dowel rod about 8mm diameter to force it out from inside. It needs considerable force to remove. Once removed it doesn't want to go back! Good luck! Have a great day!!
If you look at the prop spec . In terms of current drawn from lower to highest :- 1. 7x6 prop draws more current then 8x4 because 7x6=42 while 8x4 =32. The highest current drawn will be 8x6 prop as 8x6=48.
It's awaiting some mods. Elevator for sure, the guys at the club say stick with the tail rotor for grins. And of course proportional control via a new ExpressLRS Rx, watch this space!!
Hey thanks! Yes, just the linkage holding it in, check out the build video : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sJrOWN4Rptw.html Have a great day!
Hi there, im pretty new to the topic, was flying fpv drone before, with ELRS of course. now i bought this receiver in the hope it will work exactly like the other ELRS receivers. connect to battery, wait 60 seconds hotspot opens. ant then update and enter passphrase. but no. :S im connecting a constant voltage of my power supply of 5V to 5V pin of CH1 and ground. led is blinking twice. every second. but WIfi wont open. what am i doing wrong? please help. cant find any help or guide on the whole internet :) thank you very much br RickSmitth
I am guessing that you have flashed the wrong firmware to the Rx. In this case it will never go into wifi mode and you will need to flash it via a UART like this device : s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DDzPaYN You must only flash 6 channel firmware. Now the "generic" targets have been removed from the configurator you may use the "Happymodel" 6ch PWM firmware. The 7th channel is enabled as I show in the video by applying the 7Ch "json" file. Thanks for watching, have a great day!
@@1nformatica thank you for the answer. But i have never been able to comnect to the wifi hotspot not on 2 RXs at all. So i havent flashed anything jet. Must i connect anything else to 5v than one of the 5V pins? Like the boot pin or anything else. With the loaded firmware by delivery?
@@RickSmitth There is no manual I know of for this Rx. Here are the ExpressLRS definitions of the LED flashing status : www.expresslrs.org/quick-start/led-status/#receiver-led-status
Thanks for this. I just ordered one of the copies. Now that I know the original is Banggood, I may order that one too. My only issue with the kit is be that 3 amp o/p is a little small for my application. I need about 4.5 amp max. Is there's a fix for that - to get more than 3 amps out of the circuit? - such as: using : -- 2 output transistors in parallel. -- Instead of 2 is there another fix to use a higher rated o/p transistor? PS: You never said what the AC ouput of your trasnformer was. Presumably 24V AC? Excellent - all round tutorial.
Hey thanks! I would only build this as an educational project not for "serious" use. It's an old linear design. If you want a supply for your DIY projects this is a better option : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ikTsE-UGN1s.html Have a great day!
I saw a video where this set up produces over 700 grams of thrust and the 4s 4300 kv unit produced over 900 grams and everyone that sells this advertised it as dynamically balanced from the factory and 770 grams on 3s. Way off what is claimed so either exaggeration has reached the point of ridiculous, 390 grams 770 grams 😂. Or maybe your batteries are weak not sure but somethings going on, great video though 👍🏼
I built a Lidl with a 45 mm edf 4 years ago. Flies really well. Recently added a thrust tube and first test flight with that on killed my 30A esc! I think it significantly increased current. No carbon in mine. I've built 12 and decided after the 1st that it's unnecessary. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3RDjYYHWqVA.htmlsi=IgJs7X8K4AEQXzO3
