I got a arma vorteks gold silver and white tires in the garage. I made it 2 wheel drive,took out all the running gear in the front out.took ou drive shafts. Lowered it ,added 50 weight shock oil. Installed 28,30,31 tooth pinion gears.found out 28tooth was best all around gear with top speed and torque. Installed steel 57 tooth on slipper clutch. 75-80mph with 28 tooth with stock gears out back. It's outrageous...

Also Gap you are 100% correct about the color. When looking at those thrush wheels on Ebay they are black like the other ones. Where did you buy yours? I'm gonna get a set just to see if it was a bad set you got. Look at them on Ebay and they are black. Also very well done video and great information! Bro with the grp tires before you run them hold the back of the car and do a burn out until you smoke the tires. When you do that the grip will be so sticky it will actually pick up small rocks. But also they will have a lot more grip than any tire you have ran.
Thanks Bro. I got GRP for my X0-1 S3 all it would do is flip over when I have to turn make kinda hard turns other then that there lovely on speed runs.

I need a set of tires 17mm hex street tires for my Arrma Big Rock 3S BLX. It gets hot here in Florida so I feel ya on that. I want grip but slide a little around the corners. What would you put on it ?

11:45 what makes a car wheelie is way more than grip ... even at the same weight a larger tire will make the car wheelie more .. and is the Tire is heavier it makes the car wheelie more .. then squishy compound and lots of room to compress will do the same ( yo Great video tho , i dont want more grip know that im not scared to traction roll with my EDF up Top like my old car use to ) the J1 is 14 pounds , but i think ima go with them 1st Prolines
GREAT FOOTAGE!!! BEEN LOOKING FOR WHEEL/TIRES FOR MY ASSOCIATED RC8.2 BUGGY THAT I CAN RUN STREET MOSTLY BUT I ALSO NEED TRACTION OVER PEBBLES AND LIGHT OFF ROAD. I dont like the fine spiky tip tires bcs the buggy flips over on the street and them tires ware out FAST on street. Every time I look at a tire I like on amazon, theres always someone saying it lasted 10 seconds or lasted 3 runs. I feel not everyone being honest and some ppl got their vehicles modded wayyy beyond stock. Im still 4s stock on this buggy bcs I want this one to stay stock so Im looking for a tire thats 70% street 30% medium offroad.
I think that might just be duratrax quality. I have a set of discontinued 2.8s they are stakker mt. They look like my pro-line mx28s on steroids. They have tread that's a good 1/4" deep and look wicked. They are c2 i think rubber compound. Feel like surgical rubber or silicone honestly. Softest rubber i have ever seen. They balloon so bad on the from of my rustler 3s that the foam actually will get knotted up inside the wheel and make it all wonky. I have to pick it up and crack the throttle a few times to center the foam. Sucks they have the wrong offset so I had to run spacers. Bought proline 6x30 raids and never looked back. The only gripe there is the metal 17mm hubs are $90 and you need a set for each wheel set unless you want to change them all the time.
Dude today was gonna be my day. Went to run my rustler vxl with my nephew. Last time blew a 6bolt 12mm hub in the wheel and threw it. Spend $200 plus on new metal proline hubs. MIP 17mm conversion and I was rocking on 3S. About 75% of a pack and snapped my HR alloy driveshaft like it was junk. MX28s and a JB welded diff do not work so well together. I'm sure on the street it's gonna cough up all kinds of parts. ARRMA time I think. Wasnt my day for that part. The rest was amazing though.
Wow bro but it happens some times I broke my v3 outcast I got it on release day and one little backflip after all the other bad landings and it finally broke

I took your advice and purchase a set of the Proline Avengers and did not realize thy are to different sizes with 18mm hex the set I got are to tall for my Infraction. What is diameter of the tire on this video or part number?
@@GAPreviewsAtoZ Well that set I have will fit on my buggys, with no finders, but the are the same size as the tires that come stock on a Armma Mojave.
The tires Expanding thats ballooning it makes the car faster but unstable and it also makes the car control better in the air and belted the tires don't balloon giving you a more stable ride 💯👍🏾Rcfam4life

I've been loving it so I want to get some tires for it. Unfortunately your video was more for a street racing type of RC cars but do you think and it might be better if I get a belted tire? And I've been looking at the badland tires for my truck and I heard they are pretty damn good. The other thing I learned about your video too is that I should probably have different type of tires for my truck so that if I'm in grass I have more tread but if I'm in gravel I have maybe a different kind of tire to help with that. This is going to be a lot of fun. I just got into it with my friend and we've been going out like at least three times a week and just practicing and practicing.
@@nunyabusiness3567 you don't need belted for a slash the badlands would be good and if you grass is high your not going to do well with that slash just being real with you not enough ground clearance I think you should turn your 2wd into a street Eliminator drag car and get something more like a monster truck for off road that slash is only going to run good in the street and dirt not trying to be smart just being Honest
@@GAPreviewsAtoZ no I love the honesty. Well I mainly use it in dirt but sometimes grass. still learning. So I started this hobby with a friend and he wants the off road stuff but we will both do the street racing as well so I will look into the street eliminator. I do like the street stuff better. was a huge Forza motorsport fan and would love to make the better grippy, fast street car. Slowly learning and now I have been watching hours and hours on this stuff. I am 40 years old and wish I got into this a long time again. honestly it is like a chick magnet too. I have so many hot girls checking me out as I race in the dirt and grass at the park. The girls bring there dog and I let them chase the car...bahaha. Now I need to get the ladies to chase my di@*...just kidding
Duratrax is trash, says the two sets of unbalanced tires, broken hubs, and a full refund they gave me. Duratrax even asked me to change my review. I DID NOT.
