Great stuff! My coincidence I have been reading about the history of the old Whitchurch airport and this vid has given me a bit of an idea of what it must have been like taking off and landing there. I guess the grass wasn't quite as long then though !
The airport has changed beyond all recognition from when I was younger. Most of it is now gone - the hangers, workshops, and even the control tower. The only building left as such is now the Whitchurch sports center
