I did a repaint on the UFO making the direction arrow bigger and more out front to see it better. From the bottom I have good visibility of the LED navigation lights.
This UFO is custom built using fan fold blucor foam and 1/2" square stock basswood for the booms. I used a 9 mode, multi-color controller with RGB LEDs to go around the fuselage. I connected them to the gear channel on my RX. For the tractor beam I used a small burshed ESC as a switch to turn the tractor beam on and off. For the tractor beam, I used an XM L2 1-Mode 1200lm LED Flashlight Bulb from Ebay. for navigation lights (Very Necessary for this Round Silver and Black aircraft) I used LEDs wired directly into the 3S battery and standard red for port side, green for starboard, but used blue for fore and yellow for aft. There is a "low voltage" terminal on the controller, but instead of a buzzer (can't hear when it's flying) I opted to use 2 ultra bright red LEDs.

I've finally received some 1080p HD DVR spy glasses that work well in daylight, low light, and also have great audio recording. Plus, with shipping and tax, they were still under $30! So, I decided to charge up a battery to fly the UFO and take some video after sunset (aprox 9:30pm) The video from these glasses turned out quite well and I didn't do any editing to the video other than text comments and for the tractor beam! I also used the motion tracking video effect during editing in Magix to attach text to subjects and it worked well even with limited light. Then just for fun, I used a fixed chroma key image in a short piece of the video to have a visible tractor beam.
