Great video! You seem to have this heli figured out wonder if you might know what would cause drift to the right (pitch to starboard) ? Every time I get my US Coast Guard version in air it starts to drift/ pitch to the right and before I can even attempt to trim it's off in a bush or something, any ideas? I'd appreciate any advice from a pro thanks 👍
Hi. This is what I went through with this heli. I bought this along with a c129, both branded as rcera. When I tried to fly the md500, it went crazy and did the flyaway up, forward, and both sideways. I took it apart and found that mechanically it is perfectly sound. However I found that the controllers for the md500 and c129 were almost identical, so I tried the md500 with the c129 controller and it worked! Perfectly! MY md500 is unflyable with it's own controller, but flies absolutely perfect with the controller from the c129. The differences between the two controllers are minor, meaning I loose the Kill (stop) button and I loose the auto land function with the c129 controller, but consider that a good trade to be able to fly my md500 perfectly, every time now.
Yep. The look so cool ...until they crash with no reason 😔 Like many customers mine is a total loss after only 3 flights. There is a well documented design flaw with this machine. Do not buy it.
I had a fly away after the third flight. Went up and kept going into a large wooded area. I tried the stop bottom return with no response. Could not find it. Do not buy this heli
Thank you. I hand built it. it's constructed from blue core foam that is no longer available. I suppose there are other thin foam products it could be constructed from but with the introduction of DJI and others, I've gotten out of the multirotor building hobby.
No, unfortunately, everything I posted online, some other company with the bank to back it, mass produced and made them much less expensive with much more capability. I couldn't compete. I still have some items I've not mentioned on social media but am keeping them on close holds.
Mine are pretty neat..., I am trying to use the card adapter for my iPad so that I can load or input I should say, videos and photos onto my iPad Air... I purchased the lightning plug to a five different card adapter....! When I load the SD card into the adapter converter the iPad says there is no videos to import.....! When I plug the USB cable into the glasses and then plug them in to my HP computer it downloads the information and videos just fine but I want to use it with my iPad.....! Nobody can seem to help me on this problem my iPad is the iPad Air with 12, it may need 13 or 14 to work properly but I don’t know....!
Nicely done! But, I'd REALLY love to see this flown at the same time of evening, but when there's a heavy fog in the area. The tractor beam effect would be highly noticeable, in the fog. Spielberg would be proud! Thanks for sharing this.
If you look at my videos, you'll see this one fitted with 7-1000lm flashlight modules and it creates a beam even without fog. The title for the video is "Halloween 2020 UFO Alien Abduction".
I saw the highway with passing cars at one point in the background. Can you imagine flying late one night and drivers passing through when the highway is not busy and they see this drone. They will swear to God that they really saw an out of this world UFO.
