Before there was any, there was Betty Bruce who performed as the character Annie back in 79 because I remember this commercial as a young boy coming up in the late 70s up into the 80s because this is when a movie known as Annie came into play back in 1982 because you know why, why because it’s open your eyes with RCA.
Hi everyone I have an RCA Colortrak 200O with real Oak Veneer and I think it was built in the 90’s . Still runs beautiful to this day with no problems whatsoever...Beautiful Color and it is the TV that we always use. We never got a flat screen TV and they pixelate out and don’t last.as TV’s I do have a flat screen attached to my PC however. The ColortrakI still looks beautiful and I am hooked up to Dish Satellite on it and use their remote with it. I could send a pic to whomever wants it. I looked through all the models of the various colortrak console TV’s and none of them look like mine. Mine has the speakers on the bottom and it is a darker fabric covering them. it is really quite beautiful.
@epaddon I hope you will reply to this Aileen Quinn played Annie in the 1982 film version though I haven't seen it in a while it's one of my favorite movies....I love musicals
TV manufacturers had their hands tied during this period, they really couldn't go any further with the limitations of the NTSC signal, so they just marketed color over and over again for the next 20 years, until the FCC finally gave in and agreed to widen the band signal and give us HD quality TV.

@@sherryhannah498 that sucks, he was probably in a hospice or just a facility for dementia related issues. Not saying that's what he had, just a lot is tied to that anymore. Those voice over dudes from 70-90s work hard, lots longggg hours. I absolutely know this, for I used to work side by side with a gentleman by the name of Jim Marsico. What a talent he was in the Midwest. I helped him write, and cut commercials. This guy had the best pipes around, took absolutely, zero care of himself. He stroked out and was in a home his last few years, not knowing who he was. Chain smoker, fast food all day long, dinner 11 pm at night, get up at 6, start all over again. He was married to a local news bubblehead, so they had shit hours together and fought constantly. She left him for another woman lol. True story. 💯
