Hi everyone and welcome back!
I really do apologise for the lack of content!
Now a while back RCAWD sent me a couple of different parts to test on the CR-18P platform
I have already fitted there oil shocks to Unimog, and now we are going to be fitting the 1.2 rims with brass weights, and we will be testing their 55 mm small gravel tires.
Of course, I will also be talking about the new garage background, and below I will leave the link where you can get scale, backgrounds and scale stickers.
I’ve got to say I was actually really impressed with the performance gains by running these rims and tires on the rock van! Personally, I wasn’t expecting it, and I actually really like the scale look the tires and rims give the truck.

I liked the older stance but the fact the new setup clears the body when flexed is really cool , definitely peaked my interest!

Totally agree bro!! I loved the old stance, I like deep dish and big fat wheels!! But to be perfectly honest, having these scale looking tires and rims actually work better on this van!! I am still going to miss the old look!! But I've got to say I was actually really impressed with the attraction from these tires!!! Now I want to go and give them a test on some Sandy gravely terrain to see how they perform!! Thank you so much Andre, it's always fun to get a little Trail video in the RC town /course I noticed when I watched the video yesterday for some reason there is a fail in the edit in the beginning of the trail but I'm not going to take it down to then re-edit it just for a little mistake!! I tell you computers!! I watched the edit twice and it was perfect and then when I watched it off the posting it there was one of the scenes that I had cut out which suddenly wasn't cut anymore!! Bro I still got so much I wanted to do in there I just hope that over this year I am able to get more done! No worries bro, if you look back at when I unboxed this van I also fitted double barrel shocks. You're going to love this van bro!! They are so much fun to watch out on the trail crawling!! 😉

Thanks bro it was a great shot but then for some reason when extracting the video it removed where I cut it and left some really bad footage 😅🤣🤣 I guess I can't get everyone perfect The best part about the decal guy is that any sticker you want he will make it to whatever scale you need. And just anything I've ever asked him for he's always been able to help me!! The Rock Vans are really cool!! Being on this side of the pond!! I am finding it quite difficult to find upgrades!! Most companies don't want to send to Portugal, and if they do it ends up getting stuck in customs At least now I'm also able to get some parts from RCAWD Hopefully soon more and more companies will ship to Europe. @@MauzyrockRC last year I tried, but most of the products I wanted they wouldn't ship to Portugal. I have been in contact with them this year and there is a lot more available to be shipped to Portugal so I will probably be giving them a try. I also found a lot of upgrades on AliExpress for the cr-18 platform So I guess I'll be giving both of them a try over this year to see what I can get my hands on. I also just found out that I can order most of the FMS, FTX, hobby plus rigs off AliExpress!! I looked high and low last year and couldn't order them from anywhere!! And I have never been a big fan of ordering from wish or AliExpress!! But I guess it is time to take the risk 😅 Bro I really appreciate the reply Hope you have an awesome day. thank you 🤜💥🤛

Thank you bro!! I really like the way the shop turned out perfect for a bit of stop motion and to add to the realism. For the price they are really worth it and you might as well pick up the evo version! Having that high gear really makes all the difference when you want to go for a trail 😉 The low gear is perfect for all the technical, and difficult crawling bits And the high gear makes it fast enough for you to actually take it out on a trail where you need that extra speed for it to keep up to your walking speed.

Actually bro I'm very impressed with the tires!! They hooked up really good around the backyard course, the rims on my favorite style but they actually look quite good on the van. It's definitely worth getting a set if you trying to keep a scale look. 🤜💥🤛

Awesome job on sticker placement on the van, I like it. Like to get one of those racks also for my rock van , But I did take the rock van sticker off I got mofo sticker on there so it is a mofo Mobile 😁👍👍

Thanks bro!! Not 100% my style but I've got to say, they actually don't look bad on the van and they have more grip than I was expecting!! And the fact that they can actually fold under the body, when at full articulation also improves the overall performance of the van. I always appreciate you watching and commenting 🤜💥🤛

I really am impressed with the grip from these tires!! And the general look as they look really realistic. So far it looks like this is the only size available Maybe another brand is making them in a bigger size. Bro I've got to say that Injora in the last year has really killed it with the 1.0 rims and all the awesome tires they have come out with!! I am running every single different set they make and there is none of them that I am disappointed with!! Better than most other tires I tried lost year. Yeah bro I know of all the brands the problem is, living near in Portugal most companies don't send here! And the ones that do end up getting stuck in customs and costing me almost double to get the same item!! This is why you will notice I work a lot with Injora and other brands that I can order from China because the items don't get stuck in customs!! And end up costing me a fortune. It is really hard to run an RC channel from this country!! But there's nothing like a good little challenge 😅

That is a friend of mine that designed it, and he was nice enough to send me the file so I could change the sizes for any of my vehicles and just 3D print it! I have got to say a 3D printer is the best ally when it comes to RC crawlers. But you can get a 3D roof rack similar to this from 3DRC Just look for him on Facebook and if you don't find him let me know I will share a link to his page. Just sending the exact dimensions you want, so you can get a perfect fit on the van.

I like most rcawd stuff but the ring and pinion gears for my fcx24 from them definitely didn’t fit. Stinks to have to stay with the plastic ones or buy the smasher ones and lock them yourself.

They have a few parts for this platform, you can also get parts from fair RC, and the shocks sold for the FCX18 that you can get from Injora are the same and fit as well. You can also buy rims and tires from Injora! They have some great rims and tires, I got to say! You can check out the video when I fitted the brass rims and compound five soft sticky tires to the Mario Van! Look through the playlist you will find the CR - 18 playlists
