There were some better cars on it. A Mercury Maruder and some of those nicer vintage examples run much higher then something like a cherry 80's Mercury Capri.
@@Wanderer25 That's weird. I call my girlfriend's Sir William Charles "Bunty" Oxenbridge II. Then I can say to my girlfriend might Mr. Tiddler be granted a visit to Sir Williams estate to assist with the pheasant beating this season?
Every Lada Niva in existence is now converted to LPG They're monsters in terrain, and were innovative at the time - how does difflocking from the cabin sound like? Yeah, they had that among the first. Nice
My parents had a Diplomat, stayed in the family from 1989-2013. I miss getting to crank the carb doing a cold start with the old Chrysler starter whine and that thirsty 318 roaring to life. Such a good part of my childhood.
I love going back to this video because its a block away from where I used to work, in the suburb I grew up in. hope you guys can come up to Ontario again some day. Ottawa /Gatineau area has some nice places to drive
Which Toronto car is best Toronto car? Lada Niva is best Toronto car because HAND CRANK STARTING PROCEDURE. Seriously, it seems like there were more folks at the Toronto meet than the PA meet! Eventually I will make it to an RCR meet.
The charm of old cars is that they've established a legend around them. Sure a new m3 might do 600hp but there is nothing behind the new models. The charm of a e46 with 300hp is not in it's performance but what it stood for
I thought that knitted Audi was a TT. Damn it, this is such a close drive to where I am. I'll regret missing the opportunity for a long time. Toronto. Our subway is a U with a line through it, our skyline is about 60% condos, our last mayor was a bumbling moron and so is his brother (who is the premier of our province somehow), and the sunsets from Riverdale park are always magnificent.
BTW the Lada 4x4 (Niva with crank starter) is the first SUV in the world, first mass produced unibody 4x4 car. Still produced by this day with some updates on engine, body and interior. Modern versions even have AC.
2:09, my 1st car, the W-body Regal sedan. Love the period correct aftermarket alloys as well, I bet that car had those stupid wire wheel covers from the factory. Those cars were EVERYWHERE around here in the 90's/early mid 00's.
This may sound sick but the car I wanted the most in this video was the Dodge Diplomat. I can imagine cruising one of those listening to Hall and Oats greatest hits. They and the sister car, the Grand Fury are rare. I will probabley get the Cysler version, the Fifth Avenue which are more common. When I do, I'm scared to see what the Regular Car Guys would say about this car and the theme song Roman comes up with.
If you are in or near Toronto next year, you could do a review of my 73” 240Z and my 03” CRV if you (I think the crv would be a hilarious review 😂) if you want some more cars to do!!!
Well, that Baxter building is probably from some time when Doom bots took over NYC or something, so the Fantastic 4 went north, seeking the help of Alpha Flight or something because the normal X-Men were busy and Reed Richards is too proud to go to the Avengers.
Mike Oxlong Its hard not to love VW’s . After slowly losing a few Jettas , Sciroccos and a pickup to the salt licks that we call hiways , I’ve taken extra care of my one Rabbit GTI. The light weight and solid handling are what keeps that car fun compared to the new stuff.
VW GTI owner here. Hiking is boring. Don't understand why walking through the woods like a neanderthal is a recreational activity. I don't even own a Netflix account. Or a TV for that matter. I've only watched The Office when it's on an a friends house. I've never laughed at it, only occasionally smirk. I've never been to or used a dating website/app.
