@21:20 for anybody interested, you can also do a tactical reload with revolvers, like dumping a mag, where they will dump the whole cylinder and reload even if you have only shot once
At the same time, bp is a 2 shot to lvl 4 armour and a 50% to kill through lvl 5 in 2 shots to the thorax. You really don’t need so many bullets in the mag. I just run 30s on the mk
To me you dont really need 50 round mags, When you realise its just a "Feels good to have" Rather than must. 30 round mags are more than enough. Cheaper yes, but its still gonna cost you anyway.

Hands down… The RD with Bravo/Delta is my go to weapon! Especially when I play Solo… with PP it is unbeatable for me…!!! I love the AS Val, the Mp7 and also the 7.62 MDR but late wipe the RD is my go to when I hit max traders… Before max traders I prefer the 5.45 MDR most of the time… it is a really good and simple gun… Love you all guys!
on making a "budget" mutant build, since you get so many of them from scav cases, but cant sell them, id say running the good buffer tube stock setup, good suppressor, and whatever grip you want on a short barrel, it's extremely effective while you basically only pay for the mods youre using, since the return on selling the gun to a trader is bad, so you might as well run it.
I still go for AK-104 or AK-103 with PSO-1 scopes and with or without suppressor depending on it having a long or short barrel. (HOLO for smaller maps)
I absolutely love the RD in all configs - clearings dorms is loud with and rms sight on it, streets is suppressed with pm2 or razor. It’s perfect for everything. Also it feels punchy which I like a lot
Also there is the wooden stock and buttpad version with the cheaper suppressor that gets 50ish ergo and 49 recoil which is super usable and it comes in almost budget at 180k or a bit more
@Giga glad you are using the Rhino, but you might want to reactive the Emergency Reload hotkey - once you get over ~3 rounds it is faster to it to dump the whole lot and load from empty ⏳ 🧠
honestly i like higher rate of fire weapons because im used to manually countering the recoil. poking holes quicker than your opponents can be a lifesaver so long as you dont run dry. high cap mags of the rd/mutant is very nice!
loud ak-103 costs like 96k to build to 59 recoil and 64 ergo once you have traders bis loud muzzle break + any 2% hand guard 2% grip and a butt pad with bastion so you could spend triple for marginally better at best or die 3 times with the basically the same gun...
These guns not on the flea means they're more common in raids, chads would have them more often and sooner each wipe and would mess with balance - BSG logic
@@Schimml0rd True they are the best so it would stand to reason that the flea would also have them expensive as it would be in higher demand. Similar to how some attachments would be extremely expensive on the flea compared to when the traders sell them. That way players who are willing to risk over paying for the RD or Mutant can still run them if they choose
I have to admit, seeing the RK2, weird Nightvision scope, and PRS gen 3 on every minimum recoil build of every gun featured gets kinda annoying. It's useless knowledge because every time it's swept aside for the real build. Any way to turn "rk2, prs and meme scope" into a footnote?
Iirc, main selling point is specifically tunned gas system that works better with suppressors and competition-style muzzle brakes. Nothing you can do yourself in theory, sure, but doubt you'll be able to in practice
Both are toxic and should be a level 45barter 1 per reset worth 300k at least and locked behind autistic difficult quests.The pp ammo just made the guns way 2 oppressive. Regular highly modded aks were fine, why they needed to put in a laser beam 7.62x39 is beyond me.
Always considered mk47 the ugliest and most boring gun in the game. I use basically every gun from time to time throughout wipes, but I never ever touch mutant
i have a weird affection for that gun too but its reeeaaally not good for pvp i sometimes use it when i'm hunting scavs for a quest and try to avoid pvp

I only refer to the long barrel version as meta in the video I'm pretty sure. The short versions are alternative builds from me with more ergo if you prefer it
