I'm one of the people who followed you because of the video! So glad I did. It's been a blast watching you grow, and I can't wait to see where you go from here. Much love!
Can't believe I've been following for 5 years. It was such a good track you made for the 4 producers challenge that I insta-followed and haven't stopped since. And what a whirlwind. So, so happy to see a great producer making great music and actually having success with it. Keep kicking all of the asses!
I'm exceedingly proud to say that YOU introduced me to Andrew! I remember hearing the RU-vid audio library stuff in the background of some video in august 2018 and immediately sought it out. I fondly remember when Neat Tape 1 dropped, and the whole thing was just so consistently fantastic. However, Watercress is still and will always be my favorite. It's like you orchestrated my soul and put it to a beat. :) Nevertheless, it's been remarkable watching your channel (and career!) grow into what it has, and meeting you on tour in MN was such a treat. Hope you make your way back up here soon and keep making beautiful things, I'll be here for the long haul.
I discovered you 5 years ago when you did this challenge with Andrew. Your beat was definitely the best! Well done with that musical career. You did well and have always stayed humble!
Oh wow, 5 years already! The track was amazing but your personality was so much fun in the reactions and presentation, I had to see more and where you were going from here. Glad I got to catch you playing live a couple times (pre-Covid haha), maybe again in the future. Major kudos to everything you've accomplished since then, and where you go from here.
I teach middle school music, and showed the video to one of my classes. Before I told them who MY favorite was, I asked them to write their favs down. Their responses mostly mirrored mine. Yours. Hands down.
I have also been on 4 producers 1 sample video by Andrew when he used my doors video. I was only as a guest but it would be a dream to be one of the producers in the future. I loved your music since your appearance
I found your work through @CityPlannerPlays! Your contributions to the RU-vid catalog made his channel better and got me hooked on some of the grooviest violin/synth I never knew I needed. Congratulations on your continued success!
I found you through his series and so many other but you have always been one of my favorites ! 🙏 Love seeing how far the journey has gone it’s deserved and I still wear my “Oh, Okay” Shirt all the time and vibe to the Tape 😁
That video and series opened up so much music for me and ultimately cost me a lot of money in equipment purchases ... 🤪 It was a great process and have followed you and other producers since. Thank you for your music and presence. 🙏❤
I actually ran into your channel coz of your Shiki No Uta Nujabes cover and went into your channel after that and saw the 4 Producers video and have been following ever since. Have very much enjoyed watching your development and your success, your hard work has been evident. Congratulations and good luck, I'll continue to support your stuff!
I found you from andrew's video, and neat tape 2 became the biggest inspiration for my first album! one of my most listened to records of all time, thank you so much for making it and everything else you do
I´m one of the people who followed you because of the video, your music is amazing and if anything I would love to see how is your process for making music. You´re awesome.
Congrats on an inspiring career, been here since 4 producers and it's awesome to see your growth. When I share your music with my friends and they always call it a vibe, keep it up!
The power of the Huang!! I too became a subscriber and follower through that video! (and others that appeared throughout the series). That's one of the best series I've seen!
Thankful to Andrew Huang for introducing me to both you and Rachel K Collier and the many other great musicians and creators that wouldn't organically show up in my recommended feed.
I subscribed because of your video. Your track by far was the best; creative original and had the best vibes. I have followed you since. Wishing you continued success..
Your track was my favorite of the bunch and I’ve been following ever since. As an on and off producer, myself, it’s inspiring to know it can happen just that quickly. Now to get my butt in gear! :-)
I, like several people here, found you because of Andrew's video and falling in love with the demo of "Oh, Shoot". It was such a magical moment hearing that for the first time I totally needed more which led me to finding "Beat Tape 1" and gems like Wednesday Night (Alien Fight), Shiki No Uta, Love you BB, and so many other tracks from you that have been staples on my lofi/chill jazz playlist for years now. Can't believe its been 5 years since first vibing with your stuff but happy nonetheless. Here's to the Hi-Fi/Lo-fi Queen. :)
Blimey, 5 years eh? Honestly though your track rocked, and you came across as really kinda adorable, great enthusiasm for your art, a nice person. I joined a few of your Twitch streams, which were fun, seeing the creative process. Glad things have gone well for you - can't wait to see what the next 5 years bring. Happy anniversary! 🙂
You are so sweet... or at least, I think so... just from observing you on your videos... you have been teaching me so many things about Ableton LIVE and about your song-writing methods... You era SO generous with your knowledge and I SO apreciate it... and You for being YOU
This is so cool!! Honestly made my day hearing this catchup, I remember watching the video when I started my program it inspired me so much, and now that Im graduating it's cool to see how quick your life changed overnight because you were ready when the opportunity came to you.. im gonna go make some music!
I was one of the people who subscribed because of that video. You have never stopped being a really awesome positive person kicking out bangers. Thanks for all the work you've put out there over the years!
Yups, here because of that video as well! Loved the track and your approach to making it a lot and been checking in from time to time to see if any new work dropped! Happy to see you have been going strong and love the beats!
It was such a fortunate combination... As a Virtual Riot fan, you having the calm and "pretty" track while VR making the nastiest sounds out of a piano note was such a fun contrast that I often come back to the video... Not been following since, but seeing you still active, I will check out some of your stuff! Don't get attached to this comment 🙃
Yes.... I joined your channel since Andrew's video. Your track has been my fav since then.... It is so enjoyable to witness your journey. I hope to see you live performance. ... Hi5 from Kazakhstan!!!!
It's been a while but that may have been the video I found you from. As a producer and engineer from kind of old school days I find it critical to constantly see what younger producers and musicians are doing so that I can keep learning and find what is fresh. Keep my hungry ears fed. Rock on!
2019 is 5 years ago? dang, gonna get my reality check. yes, i'm a subscriber since your appearance in the 4 producers series, and also i subscribe to another bunch of amazing Artists in that series as well. it was a really good and entertaining series, and we're spoiled with a lot of jawdropping stuffs there. without Andrew and that series, i wouldn't be able to expand my musicality at all, it's just open your mind seeing how other producers worked their magic
I was kind of down about my music at that time, and I saw your episode and it made me want to write! So I did! I've written hundreds of songs and built a studio since that spark relit 🔥🔥🔥
Wow! It's been five years?? I remember that day when the 4 Producers episode was up, I ran to my bedroom to watch it. You were brilliant! Your music has been a huge influence and inspiration for me to go into trying music production in the middle of the pandemic. And even when delivering my first born (Bathtub Bumps album playing in the hospital 😂) Happy discovery day! ❤
I'm so glad that you joined the 4 Producers challenge. Your music is one of my favourite sounds these days and I wouldn't have found you without Andrew's video series.
Very funny coincidence that I listened to all the songs from this challenge today when organizing my Bandcamp downloads and testing out my new Headphone Amp 😄 It's been so fun being a fan since that challenge and it was tons of fun getting to watch you in Chicago when you toured with Anomalie!
Sorry to hear some of these challenges, but stoked that you love what you're doing. Apologies that it's hard to read the comments, but I feel I understand that.
Am here due to Andrew Huang's video you mentioned. Funny thing is that I did not even know who Andrew Huang was or is, because it was recommended to me from the algorithm.
I cant believe its been five years I've followed Andrew since like 2015 so the 4 producer series is still a "recent" thing in my head 😂 but I'm so glad he featured you! Just recently went back into your pre-4P1S discography and have been listening to neat tape 1 lately (in addition to the new stuff) and I got to meet you when you toured with Anomalie and say that I knew about you before him lol
that's where i found you and you became one of my top 20 most streamed artists so far (more like top 18 just ahead of tame impala) love your stuff snacks!
the best part of all this is that we followed with certain expectations and you delivered! I wanted to hear more of "that" type of music, and not only you provided, but you consistently surpassed with so many bangers up until this day Easily one of my favorites tracks of all time like 5 of them are all yours
I wasn't a regular watcher of Andrew before that video. I had seen a few of his videos with Rob Scallon. I had only clicked it because I knew Virtual Riot from before he blew up. I was very pleasantly surprised to find you and Andrew from that video. Went in for VR, came out a fan of your sound.
Wow, it’s been 4 years for me since RU-vid suggested your 4p1s video and honestly it has been life changing. I’m a far better musician today because of you and all of our friends in the online community. Grateful for the journey!
I discovered you with that challenge, and i was amazed of all of you. YOU and PROFESSIONAL are indeed a MATCH. I was just wondering what we could get if you had more time.
I loved that series and I follow you ever since! Your music makes this 36 year old dad want to be creative again. Side note, boy howdy should be a shirt. 😂
I found you because of Andrew, and I'm still here. In addition to loving your music, I was also just really happy to see anotther girl in the synthesizer community. So I've been rooting for you. Much respect.
I think I started following you because of a video Benn Jordan did about female music producers and how there aren’t enough of them. But this was still interesting!
i found you through emily hopkins harp snacks video, i really liked your sonic palate and instinct in that track. crazy you got hit with that skyrocket, Andrew's got gold dust following him. it seems like you've adjusted well to it, hopefully things go well.
You truly deserve it!!! As someone that has spent most of their life NOT doing what they want (work in progress) it makes me happy to see talented and goal oriented people like yourself find success.
Are you kidding me it was 5 years ago!!! So anyway im also one of your followers from 4 producers and remember finding your producer name intriguing so yeah im still here cheering you on.
Totally the reason I'm here. Who'd have thought you were also just a generally kind, awesome, and inspiring person as well. Win-win for us haha. Thanks for sticking with us, too 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Been here since then. Couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I was really blown away by what you did then, and your newest track has even greater epiphany power! Well done ❤
You're not Pam from The Office. You're you, and you're adorably perfect. I've been following you since that 5 producers video, and I've been quietly rooting for you ever since. Thanks for including us on your wild ride!
