Presenting a draft or redraft in reverse order makes no sense. For a redraft, going in normal order would show which teams would have to adjust cause their picks are gone already.
I have him higher than Jabari despite the massive improvements from Smith this season. Tari is just so good. Plug & play guy that earns the majority of his shots he gets from steals blocks and offensive boards. Eason's fg% doesn't reflect his effectiveness well because he grabs his own miss so often. high motor, hard worker, great size, speed, wingspan, athleticism, defensive versatility, handle, shooting. he could play 25 minutes on any playoff team in the league & still add value. He's the clean up crew when you thought it would be an empty possession.
I fast forwarded to the end to see where dude put him and I saw he was at 11 and decided the rest of the video wasn’t worth watching lol also this year I’ve seen Mathurin become a lot better passer , throwing up sick lobs almost every game , a lot of the time I feel like Mathurin could pass more but he’s always trying to attack. But to put him anywhere after 7 is nuts to me.
J-dub was definitely the underrated pick of this draft. Came from nowhere to become a ROTY candidate, and he really started his Sophomore year making himself arguably OKC's 3rd most important player next to SGA and Chet, relegating Josh Giddey to 4th in the pecking order. Giddey is still the better passer but J-dub is better on all other skills (I have to admit this even though I'm Australian). I don't agree with all those people saying Giddey should be traded - he is still an important piece for OKC and his +/- so far this year is only marginally below that of Chet and J-dub.
Having benidict mathurin at 11 is wild. Bro is an above average scorer on one of the best offense in the nba. His 3pt shooting is insane for his age and he deserve a way higher ranked. Love your vids tho
@@jadenmoyers837he is a very consistent scorer his minutes just are not consistent. If pacers make the playoffs mathurin is going to put everybody on notice bc in all of the big games the pacers have played since he was in the league he’s usually the only that shows up like in the in season tournament game and other games against the top teams
@@bapitalbeleezy6669 Facts! He is one of the only Pacers that is above average athletically compared to his competition and he is one of few that can self-create against good defenses. Can't wait to see him in the playoffs!
As a spurs fan i can say Sochan is playing a lot worse then rookie year. Somehow he got reputation of being very good defender, for sure that people haven't watched much spur's games. Also Murray from Kings can't go lower then 4, he is playing amazing.
He’s playing similar just out of place. A while ago I saw something that said he’s had the 2nd highest matchup difficulty in the league while playing out of position on offense for the first half of the season so far. Can’t be easy. He’s not a bad player just not in a position to succeed
I love your content but I think your way too low on Ben Math I know his rookie year was hyped a bit much but this year with a fully healthy Haliburton he has been more effecient and had the chance to show off more off ball movement and he seems more polished.
I will say one thing about mathurin Matt, his passing has taken a huge leap this year. He is seeing things he didn’t last year. He doesn’t really have all the opportunity in the world to create for others
Dyson Daniels is the best guard defender in the class. Great connective playmaker and positional rebounder. He’s got still one of the higher upside guys in the class, he has to be top 14. Shot coming around as of late
Really? Jabari is 3 years younger and already has a higher true shooting % and is a better defender most nights also having more block and rebounds in less minutes per game. Keegan is better at creating his own shot though.
@@Aventsdoras a rockets fan who has watched every game Jabari has actually gotten so much better creating for himself at times there was a couple times against the bucks where he brought the ball up and was creating a lot or just being able to get his own shot he has lot more to go but to see him improve drastically is so good to see
Having a higher floor and a lower ceiling could still be worth going over Sharpe imo. Keegan and Jabari Smith I think both fit in perfectly on really good teams as starting 4s down the line or even rn. Also prefer Duren/Tari/Mark Williams over Sochan.
As a blazers fan, I'm worried about shaedon's ceiling mostly bc of his handle. I haven't been watching basketball long enough to know if this is smtg players improve on greatly or if he can be successful with limited dribbling abilities
Tell me more about how u don’t watch kings basketball. Keegan is our best defender (I know not saying much) and is creating his own shots now. His ceiling is crazy high on top of producing now. Guess u just read stat sheets.
As a spurs fan, I really think putting Jermey at the one has hindered him. Yes, we want him to be our draymond, but that point forward was doomed to fail as soon as it was thought of
As a okc fan okc would not draft mark Williams okc want everyone to be able to pass, dribble and shoot and be versatile on defense and not be one dimensional same goes for Ben matriun
kings wouldnt trade keegan for sharpe in a straight up 1 for 1 deal. murray has 24+ ppg upside and is already an elite defender if not extremely close. Without murray the kings 3/4 spots would probably be barnes and trey lyles and theyd at best be a play in team
I'm sure that Banchero is a good player. However, if the Thunder were offered Banchero straight up for JDub, I'm almost sure that they would immediately say "no."
Bruh all of these “Chet is better than Paolo” cold as a freezer takes. Get a grip. He’s a 2/3 option on a team with an MVP candidate. Paolo is seeing dbl and trpl teams every possesion. Chet is open off of SGA being the focus of defenses. And their individual defensive ratings are not far apart.
I'd pick Chet over Paolo. Chet's rim protection is huge for any contending team and he can shoot and create.. I'm still not sold on Banchero, he is averaging 23ppg but he is on a bad team. I'm not sure how good Paolo will be next to a superstar..
As a kings fan we aren’t interested in trading Murray for Siakm Lavine or anunoby so saying we’d pass up on him for sharpe is crazy. Murray has taken major strides this season keeeeeegan murraaaay
Replace Chet with Paolo. Paolo is the best player on his team while his team ain’t even that good yet he still drags them in a good seed, Chet has shai etc he isn’t even the best player on his own team.
As a Rockets fan, zero chance I'm taking Williams over Jabari. Maybe if it were to win one game tomorrow night, but actually probably not even then. And you may be the only person that would take Tari Eason outside the top 10 in a redraft.
JDub since February 7th last season in 58 games is averaging this stat line 18.3ppg 4.6reb 4.2ast 1.4stl .4blk 1.9TO 1.3threes/gm 54.2/44.2/86 shooting splits 👀 +178 with elite defense and helping a team that could be a contender already. That type of scoring efficiency has literally NEVER been seen before from any young player and he’s just scratching the surface. Also he is top 5 or 10 athlete in the league 6’6 220lbs 7’2+ wingspan with 39” vertical and 3.11sec three quarter court sprint speed. Jabari numbers over same stretch 13.8ppg 8.2reb 1.5ast .6stl .9blk 1.2TO 1.5threes/gm 45.7/35.4/80.7 splits and -189. I think Jabari was a fine pick and has star upside but JDub has a chance (even if its small) to surpass both Paolo and Chet from this class he has an unlimited ceiling it’s harder to picture Jabari becoming All-NBA caliber. It’s clear you just don’t know what you are talking about no offense
The facts Jabari is scoring around 15 points a game as a pretty much 4th or 5th option and has been a key contributor on defense is really impressive to me and that I would still take him at 3 he has a lot more to go but he has shown so much improvement it helps when you have a coach that actually wants to use their players instead of Jalen green and kpj iso ball
6:42 ‘Keegan Murray to pacers’ Reverse order redrafts are pointless and dumb . Keegan would’ve never been available cause he was picked higher originally
@@sir.muffiniii7011 how could you redraft Keegan when he isn’t available at that pick . This is just a glorified ranking of players in a way too early draft class.
I get you're doing a redraft off BPA. But that's not how teams draft. CERTAINLY not Presti. There's a reason he hasn't taken a lumbering big or made a trade for one. And you said it yourself, Mathurin can't pass. Every player for OKC can score, pass, and rebound. Presti learned from his mistakes and structured the team very specifically. No one skill players. Except maybe Bertans, but that was only to get Cason.
As a pistons fan, taking Jabari smith jr at five over Ben Mathurin (who went 11 somehow!) or Keegan murray would not satisfy our fanbase, and I wouldn’t want my franchise to get any worse than it already is, if possible.
Ur tripping for comparing sochan to Jerami grant. But my thing is people always say like a brunson is underrated but realistically jerami grant is the most underrated player in the league.
I like your list... But i would have Chet over Paolo...rest of the top 4 looks good... Have Murray over Jabari Have Mathurin higher Have Ivey slightly lower below Duren & others Rest of the lottery looks good
The disrespect for Jalen Williams is comical. Seems pretty clear that a lot of people haven’t seen him play. Definitely top 3 with a strong case for #1
Did bro just put walker Kessler over Ben math 😂 if we are talking consistencies and 2nd year production how is kessler anyway better than Ben?? Let alone jaden ivey 😪
can someone please explain why walker kessler doesn't go top three? Walker kessler is ranked first place in the league in altering shots at the rim, PLAYERS SHOOT THE WORST PERCENTAGE AT THE RIM WHEN HE IS THE CLOSEST DEFENDER IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE. But sure I guess walker almost three blocks a game kessler doesn't compare to the players who are not best at anything in the league.
He has ZERO ability to dribble, pass or shoot and no indication he ever will. He doesn’t even play heavy minutes because he is very limited offensively and tbh I don’t think his defense is nearly what it’s cracked up to be he will never be as good overall on D as Gobert and therefore he’s not an elite player just a role player he absolutely will not sniff top 3 I would bet a ton of money on it. If you think Kessler is better than JDub you are smoking rocks pal. JDub since February 7th last year in 57 games 18.3ppg 4ast 54/44/86 shooting splits and elite versatile defense that type of scoring efficiency from a young player NEVER been seen before and he’s one of the best athletes in the league he could go down as a top 75 great player potentially Kessler has absolutely zero chance at that
@@bkelly625 what are you talking about, walker was on minutes restriction because he was injured and he started the season rough because he had a back injury, and by the he already has better numbers than Rudy gobert, walker averages more blocks and brings the shot percentage down even more than Rudy Gobert when at the rim, walker Kessler is number 1 in the league while Rudy gobert is number two in the league, wtf do you mean he’s not all that defensively I’m pretty sure some average guy couldn’t do that. And he doesn’t pass because that’s not his role, he gives picks and gets to the basket for an offensive rebound or dunk and in the last season he also had the highest field goal percentage in the entire league so no he definitely deserves a top three spot in my opinion
@@bkelly625 like Jabari smith jr is good right now but he had a lot of struggles in his first season when walker kessler immediately entered the starting lineup of the jazz and was helping them be a playoff contender until they blew it up
