I definitely like Sochan as an underrated prospect. He did not have the most flashy rookie season, but he displayed a collection of skills I've very rarely seen as a rookie.

Jabari Smith has an insane amount of potential still, give or take 3 years of hard work and he'll be a really good player

Many people outside Houston doesn't realized how special Jabari Smith Jr. is. He has his fair share of struggles in his rookie season but the potential he flashed is definitely why we're happy with Jabari. People need to understand that Jabari played under Stephen Silas, who's considered the worst NBA Head coach and was voted as the coach least wanted to play for by NBA players around the league. Silas never drew up a play for Jabari and used him as a pure spot up shooter, which really negatively affected his rhythm. Offensively, in games where he has his rhythm going, he could knock down shots from anywhere regardless of who's defending him. He's shown the ability to knock down pull up 3s and also operate efficiently in the high post. His length and agility makes him such a versatile defender as he can guard positions 1-4 currently. With a few more years of strength building, his potential is sky high.

Usually I agree with you on most takes but having Ivey taken behind Sharpe and BM is insane, in my opinion, because I personally see Ivey as a future star showing both scoring ability and a growing passing ability

Jabari Smith Jr. is just fine it was a learning experience in his first year, give him an off-season and a legit pg. He wasn't scared or anything just trying to figure out his role in the Rockets "weird" offense last season.😤

Far too soon to make any meaningful conclusions, but I have no doubt the Spurs would still draft Sochan at 9 if he was still on the board (i don't actually think he would still be on the board, however). I especially don't like Duren and Kessler ahead of him given how much NBA teams value versatility and upside when drafting inside the top 10.

I am super perplexed with Ivey dropping from 5 to 9 I think its unwarranted slander due to his game play through the season the other guys played well for their respective teams, however Ivey fits Detroit and what they are looking to do If you did a proper redraft you would have Mathurin @4 Ivey @5 Murray @ 6 and the rest is debatable. But seriously @Hoops Reference, you need to way up everything and all factors when doing an accurate redraft.

Man, you haven't been following Ivey, have you? It's no good just looking at season stats when you don't take context into consideration. He evolved through the season, his stats got better month after month, including his shooting splits. He showed a lot more playmaking ability than his draft analysis envisioned, and his jump shot was better than advertised. Ivey has as much potential as anyone in his draft class, including Paolo. To suggest the Pistons would've taken Sharpe or Mathurin is just crazy.

the redrafting is done at least 3 years since they were drafted, meaning most of them were in their 20s or below when they were drafted, meaning their bodies were not yet in shape or were not yet on the way to becoming their prime age.

Ivey was better than expected. Certainly lived up to being drafted 5th and I think we'll look back in a couple of years and see him as a top 3 player from this draft.

Don’t think you watched enough Ivey to say he has shown less potential than others in this draft class. He arguably has the most potential of anyone in this draft class only behind Banchero and Chet.
