Higher power, higher torque, integrated navigation, 17 litre tank, and tubeless spokes !!!! This thing will change the whole adventure touring game in India. KTM must be feeling massive heat right now. Also, the rally edition looks awesome. Now, if the RE maintains the build quality & gets the pricing right, Diwali shall come early for many.
Nice walk-around... Quite informative. Also give a closer view to the handlebar central clamp which is an accessory...in the rally bike. U forgot to mention it.
The only thing i like about the new Himalayan is their Rally edition byt doesn't seem look so different than the regular model other than the tail section.
It got 40ps n it comes with ride by wire Tubular frame n front ka jo wheel hae uska 200 Mm travel hae n rear mae vi same hae Engine hae 452 cc ka n DOHC , and it comes with slipper assist clutch n fuel tank ki capacity hae 17 litres n bike ka kerb weight hae 196kg
bro this is a himalayan it would be compared to bikes like vstorm 250 or ktm adventure not bikes like the GS or TIGER those are literally the benchmark advs. no one who is going to buy a GS is going to consider a himalayan.
Nope GS is an expensive fatass long distance bike..horrible offroader Tiger is Capable but still bulky and expensive Only an expert rally racer can truly extract full power from these bikes Himalayan is for everyone Himalayan will make PPL question their decision of buying those bikes. KTMs are great but this Himalayan 450 is literally perfect for the Himalayas -which is benchmark in terms of off-road locations Ps- I don't own a Himalayan/RE nor planning to
@@shubamnarayan4581 Well said, Very few people have the skills to ride a GS offroad, Most of GS they only go on dirt roads, some of them not even that. They buy GS because of upright position. I would say this Himalayan would be a direct competitor to 390 adventure, Honda CRF 300L and Rally, Kawasaki KLR650, Suzuki DRZ400 those sorts of bikes. These bikes are the ones ridden offroad by a lot of people and some own these as secondary bikes to their GS or Tiger.
Will suit however considering the tall stance of the bike and weight, it might be challenging to manage in slow traffic. I am 5 11 and after riding the new Tenere, I can say you need to be above 5 ' 8 to manage this as the ergonomics of this bike closely matches the Tenere 2022
Most bikes in the adventure space is for taller riders, atleast 5'8". A 5'5" guy can definitely ride them, but has to be very cautious and careful at all times, specially when you have to break you need to decide beforehand which foot you would lean upon, because both your feet cannot touch the ground at the same time. In my opinion, this constant tension takes the fun away from riding. So better to get a Classic or Super Meteor. Super Meteor has a seat height of 740!
It is a big shame that RE does not provide tubeless spoke rims for India..if ceritification is a concern then how Vstrom 650 has them? Lame excuses given honestly...Does RE think people in India can't afford tubeless spoke rims?
