Just got back from a locksmith with my deck lid lock to be rekeyed. They couldn't figure out how to take it apart. They said they would be able to rekey if I could open it up for them. I watched your video and well I just rekeyed myself! super easy, thanks! you saved 30 bucks.
Would you call this "easy" for a newbie to do on both the door and hood locks (aside from the danger of losing tumblers)? I'd love to attempt this since my ignition is keyed differently from them by the previous owner, but would rather not if it's going to render my locks useless if I muck it up
