Re-Making the P Rod "Today Was A Good Day" NikeSB Commercial with a Tech Deck fingerboard!
I'v wanted to try recreate an actual skateboard edit with a fingerboard for a while but couldn't think of the right video to try make until I remembered what is probably one of my favourite skate edits! A skate edit which I had saved on my ipod in primary school! And that is the Paul Rodriguez NikeSB ad which stared other sick people like Eric Koston, Lance Mountain, Kobe Bryant and of course Ice Cube!
I actually still remember the day I first saw this ad and thought it was the coolest thing ever haha so I decided to try recreate it which was surprisingly a much bigger task than expected because first of all I had to make every location in the video which took forever.
Then I had to film every scene to match the original to the best of my ability which took forever.
Then I had to edit the video, which involved a bunch of green screen stuff and creating the environment on photoshop and stuff which took forever haha!
Anyway
Finally got the finished product and I'm pretty stoked with it! Like I said in the video I think I could have worked on this video for over a month and still not be done tweaking it around but this is the best I could do in a week! Hope you guy enjoy it!
