Had a 1988 MR2. Upgraded it for a 285hp Turbo Lotus Elise which has been rock solid.

if you dont drive it often you just gotta unplug the battery on the negative side and leave the terminal far away from the post. it will start every time if the battery isn't slowly draining from the clock and the small conductivity.

There's like maybe one person making those metal covers and they look kinda sad honestly. If you could make those, you'd have the market to yourself. And I'd definitely grab some for my yellow faded ones.
