The GSR is better but if you want light weight street type the RS is an option. They were also cheap for it's time but you are now looking at a car that is not made anymore so of course it's more expensive than it use to be. You can also tell if it's the SE by the lip etc just by looking, it is not the SE. I regret selling mine.
Nice looking Celica! and cool song in the background. I have a 2000 GTS Celica automatic transmission and want to convert it to stick shift, you know where I can buy the parts and around how much will be? TIA
MITCH! there’s an allen that goes in that sway bar link, you do not need to cut it! You can even use some pliers on the other end if you have to. I had the exact same noise last month, thinking it was my new coilovers and it turned out I just didn’t torque it lol. Love your videos btw. I bought the celica because it was a childhood memories when my grandma used to take me and my brothers everywhere with it, and I decided to invest in one. I bought it off a friend for $500 non working with a destroyed engine. I watched all your videos a while ago on the celica and you were the main person they convinced me to get it. I was sad when I found out you sold it then, and would dig through your old videos for inspiration. I’m in the process of building it right now and since you bought yours it feels like we’re doing the project at the same time (mines the absolute red too) thanks for all the help and video inspiration, I can’t wait till this car looks good. I still need to do body work, add the TRD wing, add the 2003 front bumper with the C-one lip, lager wheels, and a nice paint job on top of it. right now it looks so bad lol but it’s getting there!
Really excited for this build, have been debating on whether I should do a turbo or supercharger on my gts this should really help me with that decision.
Hey you might want to double check that impact does 150 foot lbs. that might be its break away force. It just doesn’t look like a 150lb impact to me based off a glance
Quick question I have a vvti with a standard spoiler but looking to change it. It looks like it has 3 legs on it currently do you know if the middle one has screw holes also or is it just a pad? If I change it will I have to seal holes in the middle of the boot?
