Johnny terrell I saw a leaked dlc list that said seregios and gore was coming back, not shagaru and take the “leaked” list with a grain of salt

When I first saw this monster I was confused by its title name and quest name, because during the cutscene when he's fighting Rathian (which btw many new monsters always seem to be picking on Rathian, poor girl) he's in his "smooth" form most of the time, and the only thing sharp is his horn and claws. Then when you fight him, he quills out and you're like.. oh thaaaat's why its called the Thousand Blade Wyvern.

I remember, the first thing I did getting to HR 4 was grinding the seregios event quest that gave you sonic palico gear which made everything up to G-rank way too easy, especially with the weird weapons

I kinda think Astalos was made as a predator to Rathalos. The way both fought in the Cross-intro was a bit too one-sided to be simple cabbling over territory.

That´s some kind of proof. The other monsters were rivaling Rathalos in strength or agility, but the Astalos is specifically MADE to hunt down Rathalos for a living.

Robin Menetrey I see it like this: Astalos vs Seregios. Hyper Astalos vs Hyper Seregios. Thunder Lord Astalos vs Apex Seregios. My money's on Astalos (although both are glass cannons) Stevie is weak to thunder plus Astalos has a bigger moveset too.

you know, i often saw items like sushifish scales in world, and their description says, that they heal a bit health but also cure bleeding. that means the bleeding effect is there. so the chance for a seregios is quite high!

My money's on Steve, mostly because I feel like Bagel's bombs are meant for grounded opponents as to flying ones. I mean come on, Steve is a fast high flying wyvern, he'll probably just fly above Bagel and keep that position while clawing at him, it's not like bagels jist gonna turn belly up mid-air and launch explosives at him.

Well bazels evolved from steve so its more of a tie than anything though bazels armour plating would help alot with close encounters since bazel is a living battering ram

+Hex Gengar Not all monsters in previous games had their own themes. There are special exceptions, but the game mostly plays the combat music of the area. MHW is the same, with themes for Elder Dragons, and one for the Flying Bagel. +Robin The Paladin The lower tier weapons look similar, just with some monster specific parts bolted on. The higher tier weapons start to get unique designs.

Pretty much like you said, a flying deviljho that shows up randomly in certain quests in high rank. His body is similar to seregios in looks, but he actually resembles more diablos in how he attachs but with the ability to drop explosive pods from its tail, body and head. He is jokingly refered to ,by the community, has a World War 2 bomber, do to one of his attacks being him flying up and literally carpet bomb the entire area with is explosive pods.
