AnotherDeadDisciple just because it’s not on the list, doesn’t mean it’s not a classic! Truth be told I’m not a huge Emperor fan outside of In the Nightside Eclipse, and I could’ve put pretty much all of Bathory’s discography on here.
A Blaze in the Northern Sky. One of those albums that NEVER gets old for me. I fuckin' love it every time I jam it and In the Shadow of the Horns is absolutely savage. That riff gets me everytime. Cheers dude. Good to see you decided to keep goin' with the vids by the way dude! Cheers from Ireland.
man you have a great collection, those who said something negative about your videos, they have jealous for what you have, i personally enjoy your videos, please don't stop
Welcome back..... I'm glad to see "Drawing Down the Moon" on here. I also really like the selection of "Live in Leipzig"; I'm not really a fan of the album (or live albums in general) myself (though I do own it), but I can definitely see the argument for it having a place on this kind of list.... Nice list, thanks!
I don’t understand those who hate watch-if you don’t like, don’t watch, right? I just wanted to let you know I’ve really appreciated your vids. I’m a 50 year old metal head who is really just now doing a deep dive into black and death and your knowledge is appreciated.
I very much enjoy your videos bro....you know so much and your opinions are guiding me a lot. I like your taste and devotion to metal....keep it up please.......
Great list of classics and awesome outro. I've never commented on your excellent videos before but should have. Often it is the vocal idiots leaving negative comments and quieter people like me are just enjoying the good videos and recommendations. So keep that in mind. I like your focus on 80s and early 90s on this subject. Though perhaps not stone cold black metal classics (in the sense of influence), I'm also a huge fan of Inquisition's "Into The Infernal Regions Of The Ancient Cult" from 1998 and also the obscure Greek band Zephyrous' "Entrance And Wandering On The Seven Zones" from 1994. The latter was recently re-released on Floga Records as "Everlasting Fire" in 2016 combined with an EP. Keep up the good work and regards. Jamie
Great to see you back at it man... definitely had my share of intermittent discouragement on RU-vid and hear where you’re coming from. Was hoping to see you throw your hat into this tag and this entry is definitely up there duder. Now I guess it’s my turn to weigh in...
Glad to see you back big fan of your channel that Samael and Enslaved vinyl look fucking beautiful also agree with the beherit oath of black blood was raw couldn’t get in it at the time didn’t understand until later on, awesome list \m/
Love your videos & taste in metal dude, dont let trolls discourage the scourge. Love your collection, & opinions, & descriptions of why/how bands deserve recognition or at least some credit where its due. Every video is gold brother, dont stop! \m/
Thank you very much for this video, and the previous one dedicated to BM: I have approached the genre pretty recently, and thanks to your videos I am now curious about a few more bands I have so far overlooked. Do not worry about negative comments and hate: after all, it is about black metal, so it makes total sense!!!
Keep at it dude, only recently found your page out. Fucking love it man! And also it got me back into collecting vinyls again. Haven't bought any vinyls for the past 5-6 months till I watched your videos, fuck the trolls man, not worth your time mate. Keep it up! Hail from England.
THANK YOU for putting an Enslaved album on here. So fucking overlooked in their early discography. They are the band everyone loves, but for some reason never include in their top black metal lists. Not the album I would have chosen, but huge respect for not overlooking Enslaved. I would have gone with Vikingligr Veldi if you wonder :)
I grew up and lived more than 30 years in Brazilian favelas (slams)......and I tell you man....the reality in those environments in Brazil is Brutal!!! Then when I listen some of the Brazilian classics, such as Vulcano and Sarcofago (there is many others indeed)....I totally understand the energy that the band is transmitting. Another band from my hometown (Salvador - BA) that for me has my deep respect and admiration is Mystifier!! Anyways man, thanks for your video. (About the negative comments...do what you want man....if you have 10000 people saying good things and a very few talking bull shit ...why loosing time even thinking about it? Our will is power.)
Some really impressive album covers on this video, Scourge my man. I'm increasingly fascinated by how much of your income you spend on records and whether you get berated by anyone for such extravagant ways.
I ended up throwing my hat into the ring of this video chain. But dude, I dig your content, fuck those people man. Don't let assholes win. But yeah man, I had a hard time with my list since I traded my collections in twice in the past so I was running pretty thin but tried really hard to get a lot of USBM on my list. I get bummed sometimes but then band members will hit me up saying how stoked they were on the video its pretty sweet and gives me motivation to continue because I know the right people are watching my videos. Cheers!
Io bro, haters gonna hate, keep it up, you are great, excelente information you bring, i got to know a big amount of banda thanks to you, i apreciate it
I mean, the videos about the classic metal albums lol and your vids in general but yeah, keep them coming xD People are always gonna talk shit and criticize anyway, do what you do for those of us who enjoy it \m/
In my opinion, ABITNS is the bridge album. It has a few leftover death metal riffs, but also brought on the new bm style that is void of thrash, aka second wave bm. Whereas, UAFM was the first album to completely shed the dm sound. Darkthrone is just the best. Easily one of my favorite bands.
Hello... Great video and great picks. One question: What pressing is that Sodom - In The Sign Of Evil vinyl? It is different from mine and I was curious. Greetings from Istanbul, Turkey...
