Hope the bottles help save your crop. All my dahlias except the ones I left late in the greenhouse have been eaten to death. The ones in the greenhouse have been untouched. So there's a tip. Slugs and snails do not like the greenhouse in summer.

@@JillBretherton “so far” I’ve been lucky with the Dahlias I’ve grown from tubers (my first time) but I’ve put them in (Asda) black flower pots with wool pellets, with the intention of putting them in the ground once big & strong, now I’m not brave enough with the weather + they are on a small table & doing so well, I think I’m just going to put them on raisers & surround them with cosmos (get me! 😂) I’ve got an umbrella over them at the moment, worried the tubers will rot with too much rain. 🙆‍♀🤦‍♀☔ 😂❤ Told you, you’ve got me obsessed I mean hooked 😂

@@sandrapicard9533 ha ha. Well I’m hooked too so it must be catching. Yes i think i put my dahlias out too early given the wet summer. Next year i will definitely hold off. Black pots is good cos it absorbs the heat so i expect this also helps to deter slugs.
