A few reminders: - Make sure you use a CLEAN copy of GTA III 1.0 , any other version won't work. - The more mods you install, the more demanding your game will become. - I have done 6 instances of this installation on my Laptop and desktop PC and experience no issues whatsoever. If you do, then you did not follow the steps, you are not using the correct game version or you don't have the necessary permissions in your GTA III directory. If any of you have problems after doing this complete installation (like running into constant stuttering and texture issues), go into the "GTA3 User Files" folder within your "Documents" directory and delete the "gta3.set" file that's in there. Doing this deletes all of your key bindings but will also force the game into a clean state and somehow resolves a lot of the issues related to mods. The only problem is, I've noticed that I've had to do this sometimes for other mods that I've added.

You actually did a video that I was planning long time ago :D Big thanks for the effort and I hope your video helps many people :) My only note is that for the Xbox mod you should have pointed people to the official topic for Xbox Version HD in GTAForums because I'm not sure if the source you use is the latest version. Actually I forgot one more: Back face culling for GTA 3 (pretty new script that brings the back face culling for models that GTA Vice City has which is a huge optimization) EDIT: actually I have one additional note - I don't like how you advice people to turn off ReplaceTextShadowWithOutline from the Widescreen fix config. Many people would argue that the in-game text looks better like this so it would have been better to at least explain why you turn it off.

I wanted to revisit and get that 2001 ps2 feeling, but the basic version was just horrible, GTA 3 has not aged well but with these MODS, oh man! what a star you are!

This video helped a lot. I was really confused as to why my limit adjuster wasn't working. But now I think it is working. The mod I am making broke the game as it reached id limits it seems, after this video I can put my mod on and everything loads properly, no insane popping in and out.

one thing i cannot get to work is classic axis mod. i can use controller fine but cannot use mouse to look around or aim, it also crashes when i pause the game.

Loved the video badi, but is there a problem in kiosks mod cause when I installed it the same way instead of a seller a normal ped spawns inside the stall in game. Also are you planning to post a gameplay showcasing all mods please?

Yeah Kioski does that sometimes, I haven't found a fix for it yet. No need for a separate gameplay video since there was gameplay in the guide itself. I may do a playthrough on stream though some day.

i installed almost all these mods on my GTA3 with 1.0 exe steam version. when i go to options i get two pointer icons, and a black screen. the mods i left out are: Burstable Tyres Burstable Tyres (sound only) Bail Out Mod Destroyable Airtrain Achievement System Kioski it play tested fine in the two parts you said to start the game, then i proceded to add in the mods except those listed above.. any ideas? I think i sorted it out.. i went into my GTA 3 save game folder and GTA3.SET file.. cheers

My game runs fine I think but the main menu is glitched out, it's completely dark and the brightness only increases after a while, but not on the main screen.

Hey man for the skins and bone thing the the player model for claude is also required, you would have to put in the skins folder, or else you will have a claude with a dismorphed body

Actually dismorphed body occurs when you don't rename .dll to .asi. And yes that player skin makes it more proportionate and makes it better. Even I used that skin!

I don't think I will do another video on it as there wasn't much interest in a continuation. If I decide to make one though your current installation can remain and I will build-up on that, you won't need to reinstall everything from the beginning.

Did everything right as shown but still keep getting "Unhandled Exception error c0000005 At address 6305cdf3". From the comments, It was suggested that I delete "gta3.set" from the GTA3 USERFILES. I did that but still, nothing happened. What I did notice is, when I downgraded my copy of GTA 3, I had no save files and had to restart, but after installing all the mods, my previous Rockstar Launcher saves had re-emerged. Could this link to the problem? Anyways, please somebody help.

For me the interiors mod never worked. The collision of the house is Portland was atleast OK and I could enter without falling below the map. But the collision of the Staunton Island safehouse for broken

Hmmm, maybe you used an older version of the mod or your game was the correct version itself. Try it from the link in hte description, maybe this time it would work. I personaly never had issues with it.

GTA 3 without mods is actually pretty glitchy on modern systems. When I did my walkthrough I had a very old and crapy PC. What you need on a modern PC is: the widescreen fix and Silent Patch. You can add more stuff, but these are the essentials.

They work fine. Change the settings of your browser. It's probably blocking the forums for some reason.

I just checked a few of them and they all worked fine. Your browser may be blocking the website for some reason. Either unblock it or find the same mods from a different website. I don't think I can assist you in any way unfortunately :(

I could, but there is not much demand for such videos anymore ever since hte release of the definitive editions. People are just too lazy to mod the older games which is a shame :(
