I don’t know about Christianity and Judaism, but this is a false representation of Islam and Muslims. This is probably closer to some of the deviant sects, but not Islam. Besides, the crescent moon and star is a symbol of the Ottoman Empire, not Islam. The fact that the Muslims have no such symbol (such as the cross or David’s star) is a symbol in itself.

@@sheroo1000 Jehovah's Witnesses might actually more hard core on their rejection of iconography than everyone else, though whether they are a sect of Christianity or a separate religion entirely is a matter of debate. As for the claim itself that Islam has no physical symbol, I'd have to ask *why* the Kaaba doesn't count as a physical symbol.

@@orion3253 By symbol I meant symbols like the cross or David’s star. As for the symbols of God in Islam, some of these are mentioned in the Quran by God Himself. God calls the hills of Safa and Marwah His symbols because walking between them is among the acts He legislated during Hajj (major pilgrimage) for Abraham (God’s blessings and peace be upon him). A similar question was posed to shaykh Muhammad Ibn Uthaymeen, who was one of the greatest Islamic scholars of the recent times: Q1) The crescent is commonly used as a symbol by Muslims to distinguish themselves from Christian groups who use the cross as a symbol. Is it permissible for us to use the crescent as a symbol in our publications and on our banners, to distinguish ourselves from other, non-Muslim groups? A1) “I do not think this is right, because the crescent was originally a symbol that was placed on graves that were worshipped instead of God. We read this in an answer given by some scholars and leaders of da’wah (calling/inviting people to Islam). But we could use a picture of the Ka’bah as a symbol, because it is the qiblah (prayer direction) of all Muslims.” Q2) In some countries they put a crescent on Muslim places of worship to distinguish them from Christian places of worship, which have crosses on top of them. They do this so that people can tell them apart from a distance, because the architecture is often similar. Can we say that putting a crescent on the mosques or minarets of the Muslims is a religious innovation? A2) “It is as you say (i.e., we can say that). It is sufficient for a mosque not to have a Christian symbol on it. Symbols may be something that is present, or something that is not present. If the Christians have a symbol, namely the cross, then the fact that the Muslims have no symbol is in itself a symbol (i.e., we do not need to put anything).
