This is going to be incredible, out of all the LNs to get great adaptations I'm so glad Re:Zero is one of them! I remember staying up until early in the morning watching S1 first episode not realising how long it was 😂

I think you’re confusing Crunchyroll splitting the first episodes in season 2 with season 1. they split the 40 minute episode of season 1 into part A & Part B but didn’t cut anything in season 2, the credits even rolled in the end of the episode 1. Though season 2 did have many over length episodes, the entire second cour was basically 29 minute episodes

Don't let the season 3 distract you from the fact that i heard that people of chaos flame are strong but i wonder if they are stronger than the people of Shinobi Village.

I really hope they cover some stuff of omega which was cut off in season 2. We really having a nice time rn to get a 90 minute episode and re zero season 3. I hope in the future they animate the GOAT Demi Human War stuff which is just peak writing.

My hopes for S3 are so high i'm actually scared that my expectations are getting too high now.

Re:zero season 2 was great but now with season 3 being 90 minutes long which is a movie this is going to be amazing it really goes to show how much time white fox was putting in to make this session of re:zero special for us fans of the anime.

All I ever wished for was for Re:Zero to have a banger of an adaptation. I didn't expect Whitefox to do it better than my imagination. 90 minutes first episode, on the level of Oshi no Ko, is the best thing for Re:Zero. And hearing it will be 3-4 cours (36-48 episodes), it's like my dreams come true. Now all we need is an editor's cut of season 2 to bring in all the cut content. I'm so glad they are ahead of schedule I can't be happier.

I am glad White fox is still doing re zero but I am worried about the workload because quietly they have also took a large undertaking with the anime Sengoku yokou(superb anime also) and it's 2nd cour is supposed to start in this summer season. Hopefully White fox staff is large enough to properly allocate the workload between these 2 amazing shows

I love hour+ first episodes but i really wish more shows copied what Made in Abyss does and have double length FINALES, especially when past the first season, they shouldnt need to get peoples attention from long first episodes anymore, but finales suffere a lot from being short, the made in abyss season finales are masterpieces, same for the AoT finale of course, having long first AND last episodes is even better, even if it reduced the episodes count by 1 or 2

I'll have to re:watch it again from the beggining. I really enjoy those long first episodes, they really set the tone for the rest of the season. Oshi no ko would never get that popular without that banger of a prologue.

With this start, I strongly believe we'll get arc 6 covered. I like arc 5, but arc 6 is on a whole nother level! With season 3 approaching and the conclusion of arc 8, Re Zero fans are thriving.

I'm fairly new when it comes to the Web novel as of this year when I started earlier in January. But i watched the show at least 7 times by now directors cut included. I thought season 2 was amazing. The inner workings of character development and building relationships to the climax of Subaru's suffering on top of Emilia's/others

The beeing ahead on sheadule point is pretty mood for what looks like a massive massive season of defacto 36 episodes+ its only logical that the first parts have to be already mostly finished. Otherwise they have no chance to finish the overall amount of work.

Dont get your expectations too high people. Remember that theres a lot of context needed in season 5 that was cut from the anime in previous seasons. Theres a chance that the movie will just be a "prequel" to introduce us to some characters we missed. Though honestly, id still watch that

The question is, will each episode air on TV without commercials? I remember when S2 aired in Japan, they did away with commercials, so each episode was 29 or 30 minutes instead of the usual 24 minutes.

To be honest, my main complaint with season 2 was the production quality. But considering they made this season during covid pandemic and had a lot of issues because of it, I have trust that they will do much better. Especially now, after they had experience with not only re zero, but another long running show that they are currently adapting at the moment.

I only watched the Director's cuts of Season 1 and Season 2 of RE: Zero the episodes were arround 45 min each and it pretty great, is there any reason to repeat it with the origina 20 min episodes release ? Hope they do another director's cut for Season 3 and make the first episode 3 hours long Lord of The Rings style.

I constantly delay rewatching because i really need to before the next season, not only to refresh but because i didnt understand a few things the first time i watched. Last season was really confusing to me for some reason.

Will likely cover the entire 16th volume or up the very end. Then the rest of the first cour will be straight action almost as 75% of arc 5 is combat For episode count, I'm seeing 13-15 for arc 5. Its mostly combat abd won't need as much screen time. Arc 6 would probably be 20-25
