This is my actual motivation for beating games, it’s just so I fully understand the crazy shit happening in speedruns and the “I DIDN’T KNOW YOU CAN DO THAT” moments.

Nothing wrong with using coins for the first attempt on Inferno. I'm doing my second run now with no shop items, and boy this mode does not fuck around.

Inferno grind is insane. This mode is not made for NG runs lol.

Legendnum23 apparently they cut a shit ton of content from the original to stop so much of the backtracking that was in it

He may have gotten hit to knock him out of the animation. Kinda makes sense since he is in caution after taking the green herb at "fine". It's a little suspect when Jill does another 'getting hit animation' but quickly recovers right after.

No they don't slow you down. The in-game timer pauses while radio conversations are playing. It saves time.

While true, I think it’s still too early to say. We don’t know what type of stuff the community discovers in this game.

Epic Ari dist actually comments on that in the vid, radio calls stop the ingame timer which I believe is whats used to time the runs

in game time stops since it's counted as a cutscene, so walking to where you need to go can actually make the run faster

LazSoares safety saves, it’s still early days so deaths are to be expected and if he dies and doesn’t save its a reset.

Lia Kagami she does but the in game timer doesn’t run when you’re talking to Carlos on the radio, so runners let it play out to save time.

I’m Weird you got S Rank on Inferno legit? No weapons, coins, etc? Good for you if so. Under 2.5 hours and no more than 5 saves I believe you need

Budd631 i actually didn’t do it on my first try on my first play through of inferno I died over 25 times and got a c on it just so i can get used to the mode and know strats for certain areas specifically the final boss that get you stuck in a combo animation that you can’t get out of pretty much you’re one tapped In that cheap unbalanced mode
