Amazing that they finally add Marvel for the first time in Tokyo Disney Park

This opinion may sound odd, but personally, I think they should've added a Lion King segment to the show because I think it would be fun to see Simba look up at the cloud of Mufasa and chase his dream! And especially with the recent passing of James Earl Jones, it would be a nice tribute to him

That final fire was 🔥🤩

The ending made me cry with joy when Woody said To Infinity and Beyond in Japanese because of two things: The Buzz Astro Blasters ride closing in a month and a half and it also signifies the whole show in the most phenomenal way possible!

Wasn't expecting them to use Marvel characters. This show is a great addition to this theme park!

ワンスアポンアタイム、セレブレイト共に好きでしたが、これも好きです。東京でこんなに最近の作品が観られるとは思いませんでした。あと、臆せず吹き替えを多用したのも良いと思います。

アメリカのHappily Ever Afterなどに比べて、投影されてるキャラやダイナミックさは超えてるし素敵だと思うけれど、やっぱりもっとパイロ/花火が欲しくなるなぁーって。Well, as a Japanese living in the U.S., I like the show, but I personally still prefer Happily Ever After as it makes me feel more magical. It might be different if I see it in person tho.

Aside that, this show is pretty good, especially with Buzz Lightyear, Hercules, Aladdin, and the Marvel Heroes inside!

This Nightime Show Is Amazing and Stunning, I Didn't Like A Show Like This Since Disney Dreams 😊🌟

The projections are beautiful and the cloud theme is really good. The song theme is so great that I will see it go to other parks too. The spotlights here are the brightest and most dynamic one I’ve ever seen. I did not enjoy it however they still have to figure this one out how to give it a WOW factor because as someone who’ve watched their previous nighttime spectacular, there’s a much less thing going on with the current one. Maybe a drone formations? It’s a principle to do it bigger and better than what you’ve done before!

The projections have gotten much more organic.It’s not so much “look what we can do with this!”

Reach For The Stars, I Gotta say this is More 10 Times better than Disney Enchantment in Magic Kingdom • I Love the Pacing of the Castle Projection Show (I Wish they Add Fountains like in "Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland") • The Music Is Amazing Also they Even Re-Used the Touch The Sky in Happily Ever After at WDW Magic Kingdom and Even The Marvel Portion some Score can be Heared in "World Of Color - ONE" at DCA. • Speaking MCU, I was Completly Shocked they did Marvel For the First time in TDL (Even Thought Shanghai Disneyland Did first) • Some of the Disney Films Like Raya And The Last Dragon, Luca, Encanto, and My Favorite Movie - WISH Deserves some Respect and Love (Since in Japan they Love WISH ✨)

Awesome show about Reach for the Stars at Tokyo Disneyland.

As a firework spectacular with a ton of pyro this would have been great, with little fireworks it's kinda lacklustre.

I love the theme so much! This show might not be HEA or Momentous or Illuminate, but for TDL this is such a good addition to the night. Would've loved for them to use aerial shells atleast for the finale and the return of their fountains but atleast they added fog on the moat. Wonder who was the producer behind this.

Just now, the date has changed in Japan to September 20. The "Reach for the Stars" show will start today at Tokyo Disneyland. I'm waiting for the day when I can watch it.

I was hoping they added a story to this, or some plot. It just feels like I'm watching clips on a castle.

Nice to see Wish have it’s own segment in one of Disneys nighttime shows. This makes Star feel right at home. Makes sense to have the segment feature Asha singing her song and wish on a star too

I prefer One Upon a Time and Celebrate! The music felt more magical and the effects were honestly better ✨

I expected a show similar to it at DIsneyland Paris early next year (albeit without Marvel's appearance but with Main street projections), because the new nighttime show at Disneyland Paris will feature drones, fireworks, and projections all in one for the first time at Disney Park. Meanwhile, i see the new TDL show as a sister show of Illuminate (obviously), as well as Wondrous Journeys, Happily Ever After, and Momentous. Although, this nighttime show doesn't have strong pyro tech as Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland.

フランスやアメリカのキャッスルショーと比べると東京のキャッスルショーはマッピングされていない映像をキャッスルに投影していて、パイロや花火、噴水等の効果も無いに等しい。 経費節減されたキャッスルショーで感動する所が全く無い。　同じディズニーのキャッスルショーとして東京のショーは恥ずかしい。

Good show but not amazing. I prefer Momentous in HKDL and Disney Dreams! in DLP.

It's kind of surprising they added Wish, despite the film becoming a huge box office bomb and gathered mixed reviews

It’s probably the best projection mapping they’ve pulled off in terms of scale and creativity but the story of the show itself is lacking. It’s a clip show. I think Momentous and Wondrous Journeys feels a little more tied together.

Here’s my thoughts on Tokyo Disneyland's new nighttime projection show - Reach for the Stars: *The projections on Cinderella Castle look rather stunning, and the cloud theme was a nice choice. *The song that was chosen the show sounds very great. *The spotlights here were the brightest ones that I’ve ever seen, reminds me of Disneyland Forever and Happily Ever After. *I’m surprised as well to see that Tokyo Disney Resort used Marvel characters in a show, despite the fact that Shanghai Disneyland did it first. *The ending made me tear up with joy, especially with Woody and Buzz Lightyear. However, if I were to make some improvements to the show, here’s what I would do: - Have Mickey Mouse narrate the show, similar to Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland - Use aerial shells for the finale - Bring back the fountains and the light-up trees - Add in some new segments featuring Mary Poppins, Star Wars, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Winnie the Pooh, the Pink Elephants on Parade (during the Dumbo segment) and The Lion King (1994) In conclusion, Reach for the Stars may not be in the same level as Happily Ever After, but for Tokyo Disneyland, it’s an enjoyable show.

I wished The Lion King Simba, Little Mermaid Ariel, or Lightning McQueen from Cars were in, even if it was just a small cameo like Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story, Peter Pan, Luca, Mary Poppins, and the Inside Out characters!

Why did the trumpet at the beginning around 0:42 reminded me of One Piece 😆

Not the best show buy the projections look splendid.

Singer sounds suspiciously like Ed Sheeran (if OLC/WDI got the genuine article, good on them). As a Baymax Bae, loved the BH6 scene; love the new searchlights; love that Dumbo gets a moment too (although good luck bringing “When I See an Elephant Fly” to the stateside parks again). Amused by the reuse of HEA’s version of “Touch the Sky”; and even though the theme song is good, the finale could’ve been beefed up (key modulation could’ve helped).

Es justo todo aquello que ENCHANTMENT nunca fue, es emotivo, pero siento que le hace falta COCO, SOUL, FROZEN 2, entre otras, un poco mas de velocidad y mucha pirotecnia, pero el cierre te eleva y conmueve.

Not the best castle projection show they have done. Great show nonetheless. Also, why is hearing these iconic songs in another language making me emotional?!

I would love to see Tokyo redo their castle to something original

Not my favourite show. This doesn’t have many interesting mapping and the princess part feels like referencing HKDL one. But the animation looks more smooth and less forced in the scene. Especially the carpet ride. The marvel part is also really cool to see.

Given the presence of Mary Poppins & Winnie the Pooh in the opening & finale portions, I wouldn't be surprised if they we're originally supposed to have their own segments. But assumingly got picked off within development in favor of Brave & Encanto perhaps and wanted to represent more recent films.

Basically, the same as other shows, but the language is Japanese
