2022 and still gets me chills listening to Ms. Gloria Estefan. She wrote the song in 15 minutes. Diane Warren suggested the tittle Reach for an Olympic song, so Gloria did the lyrics based on the rehab what she went through after her nearly fatal crush bus accident

Between Celine's Power of the Dream in the opening and Gloria's Reach in the closing, those are just two great themes for the same Olympics.

When I think of Olympic Songs, I imediatelly remember this one. First and only. Great song, great performance.

For me, 1996 Atlanta Olympics has the best theme songs -- Reach by Gloria Estefan and Power Of The Dream by Celine Dion.

This song should be named America's official Olympics anthem forever...so inspiring and beautiful.

"Reach" works great as a song for sports and for everyday life. I'm undergoing rehab now and find this inspiring. Then I remember that Gloria herself had much more serious injuries six years before this performance. That gives me more hope and patience with my own rehab.

The Morehouse College choir in the background gave me chills. To feel the power of their voices intensified to the heavens, put on a headphone. I can only imagine just how electrifying an experience was for those who were lucky enough to be there. Kudos to Gloria and Diane Warren for creating such an iconic and timeless masterpiece.

One of those special moments that I was all too happy to experience as it was televised in real time. This performance was spectacular. Gloria was the epitome of everything that the host country should be. The drum finale was absolutely hair-raising.

I was 9 years old when this aired in New Zealand 🇳🇿 in 94’ and I can honestly say without a doubt it’s the first time I remember being mesmerized by sport and realizing the world is bigger than my hometown. And that Gloria Estefan meant the world me.. 🤣
