"Can't believe you fell for that. It's a sixteenth inch of plastic." 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I mean, if Reacher ever threatens you, I sure as hell would believe him too
Yeah I totally don't understand the whole thought process of the joke. Reacher still has a gun and still will shoot him in the leg. It will make noise if he does so. Big deal. The threat of being shot is the issue the home made silencer means nothing as he doesn't want to get shot.
@@ernieellan5694 it's actually a direct scene from the book. In the book, he's talking directly to Marlo (differently named in the book) and doing so "added an extra element. Better than just pointing a gun." Also said that the neighbors wouldn't hear a thing.
Wasn't sure about this season when it started. Now, I'm as engrossed as I was for the first season. Script writing is superb and the entire production is doing a wonderful job building the tension. It literally is like a novel coming to life (and I've never read this particular series of books).
I love how as she’s describing the people Langston has in his back pocket Reacher and the gang are nonchalantly saying how they took them out and there is just no reaction from Marlo and she keeps talking without skipping a beat…. 😂😂😂😂
They are killing it with this series so far. The best part about reacher is there is a ton of books to put on the screen. Whoever is directing this really loves this series
Yeah, that's kind of insulting if your parents name you Chad, and you look like your about to s**t yourself when a dude makes a fake suppresser for a gun and says he's gonna shoot you quietly.
Honestly i can see Alan Ritchson play Batman in DCU 🙏. After watching Reacher series I can totally see he has that kind of sort of Batman and he great actor great in Reacher
considering it's success, how this show looks relatively easy to make and how there are 28 books in total, i doubt they are gonna stop at 2 seasons. might be a long running one. at the same time i have seen complaints about drop in quality from s1 so that might affect it a bit
Such a shame people see fit to puck fault with S2. It was always going to be difficult to top S1. Absolutely brilliant watchable TV - let’s hope they continue with more adaptations.
I don't think it's as sharp as S1, but it's far from bad. I've definitely seen way worse. Honestly, least favorite part of S2 is Dixon. Otherwise, it's still mostly entertaining if not a bit sloppy compared to S1
Given that he's specifically faking out a chump who knows nothing about weapons, I assumed he said "silencer" because thats what they call them in movies, and so thats what this guy would know them as.
I've just never heard the right term used in any movie ever. Silencer spreads fear because it makes it seem like the weapon will be silent. That's impossible unless it's a bb gun. Suppressor is the better term because the sound is suppressed, not eliminated. Sorry John Wick you can't have a gun fight in a crowded airport and have no one notice.
When I first saw this I told my wife, "I can't believe he fell for that". When Reacher said, "I can't believe you fell for that." I jumped up and screamed "HA!!" My wife leaned over put her face in her hands and started shaking her head.
I really enjoyed the first season. While this season has it's moments, it seems a lot less story driven and a lot more like watching a run of the mill procedural cop show.
First season was pretty good. This one is not even close unfortunately. Looks something like Scooby-Doo with less colors on screen and a licence to kill at will.
Yeah, definitely too many killings in this season. I don’t mind bad guys getting killed, but this is just a bit too much. They are dragging the story out with all of the over the top fight scenes and gun battles.
I like this season but the first was definately better theres too many characters and storylines this time Also does anyone else think him getting bigger might have been a bad thing only because he seems to be alot slower and sluggish in this season?
Tell me you didn't read the books without telling me you didn't read the books. Firstly, the books themselves are complicated, they are no less than 400 pages each book, I know I have all but two. Secondly, no shit he is slower, if you HAD read the books, you would know half the problems he has is because he is slow and not the greatest at stealth because he is 6'5" 250. Technically Alan Ritchson is actually a few inches shorter and not as big as described in the book. but they absolutely nailed the feel of how reacher should be portrayed.
@Dentros21 how about you stop feeling so entitled because you've read a few books that I haven't yet Like I said I liked this season just not as much as the first ...I would also probably not enjoy the book this is based off compared to the first My point about his size was literally pointing out that he looks slower and a little clumbsier, which he does
It's irrelevant to the plot and most people either don't know about that or don't care about that Most people are unaware of how much effort is needed to achieve/maintain such a physique, so it is an easy to gloss over inaccuracy of media. Similarly to how most people are unaware of how hacking actually takes place, so most do some sort of rapid keystrokes and matrix like spools of text rapidly scrawling across a black background or using some "hacking program" when it doesn't work like that.
Nobody works out 3-4 hours a day that's unnecessary and would invite serious injury. Any of us that are serious (as in mens health/ Abercrombie & Fitch level jacked) might do 1.5 hours to 2 hours a day 5-6 days a week with weights maybe cardio on the other days. Lifting (with proper form and execution) is just 1/3 of the puzzle, the other thirds are plenty of sleep (where all the muscle built) and eating/drinking correctly (including 2L of water a day) Supplements like shakes, tren, vit c, omega 3 etc are no use without working out, food plan and sleep.. The character reacher has a gym membership to a national chain. That's how he has showers to keep and use cream to manscape smooth as ivory, a booth for that spray tan and workout hard.
Season two just isn’t as good as season one was. Too many over the top fight scenes and unbelievable shootouts. And the character Reacher isn’t the same either. He seems even more stiff when it comes to certain social interactions.
This season is a disappointment! "Sara Connor" reference? Really? The Bottles of Bud & Bud Light strategically placed in numerous scenes, randomly killing people in major cities? Is it a comedy? I'm bummed.
Hey...everybody here disperse this note to DC and Mr.Nolan ASAP ...that this Reacher guy is the most suitable for Bruce Wayne The Dark knight.....I would really love to see him in that role❤❤❤❤❤
Reacher "jumped the shark" during episode 3. Essentially murdering 10 people and hiding the bodies. Making and throwing a pipe bomb into a house without knowing who was in there. That's terrorist level crap. Reacher is suppose to be a "Good Guy" that confronts evil, not a murdering terrorist.
Dude we just want entertainment, some of us don't care about the book and other nerdy stuff , if it's fun and entertains me I'm sure as hell watching it . Stop being a party pooper
Reachers better as a lonewolf, Also annoying every episode having to keep telling a certain member of his team how great and wonderful they are at everything ,I won't mention who but it's a woman and she's black ,,surprise surprise 🙄
found the angry white guy from the USA who lives in a small town and possibly hooks up with family for "fun" Spent the last 100 years in hollywood seeing white people boosted as amazing and now a few blacks and it's a problem. Pretty much every show in the 60s to 90's were all white. I ain't no liberal democrat either. Just someone wiht common sense. Trust me, liberals and annoying white middle class democrats annoy me but I also live in reality.
Why is RU-vid all gayed-up these days? Sometimes I really loathe corporate America. Sears. Google. Lowest of the Lowes. Harley, etc. They have forgotten the faces of their fathers. Reacher although, is still tight.
