This is such a good documentary. I love the way it accurately shows bullets from assault rifles not penetrating cars like hot knives through warm butter.
Anyone notice how Ritchson’s physique is accentuated? It’s the same physique shown on the covers of the books. At 2:56 when he pushes apart the double glass doors to open the bus, he is shown in silhouette - looks like Hercules pushing stone columns apart.
Ah, yes! The crack commando unit from 'Nam that couldn't hit the broad side of a barn unless it was the magical explosion spot of a car! (Great show, though!)
The way that they all manage to miss, at extremely close range, over and over, is kind of impressive. I also like the fact that all of these cars are, apparently, armored.
Have you ever actually shot firearms at a range before? Something people seem to always make fun of is how unrealistic bad guy aim is in movies, except in reality, bad guy aim is actually normal, and the main character's aim is just unrealistic. Shooting semi at 40 yards while standing still at the range with a sight and getting a good grouping is not difficult. Cool. Now, add movement while trying to shoot that same target. Now add movement to the target. Now add the fact that your firearm is constantly shaking from you moving. Now add the fact that you're in an uncomfortable position peaking your torso out of a car window with fast and bumpy driving, resulting in the use of a sight being completely impossible and most attempted shots are from your shoulder. Also, you're not the driver, so the bumpiness is not only upredictable, but no human has a good enough reaction time to compensate for every little bump throwing off aim. Now add the fact that you're shooting full auto at someone, which, if you've ever fired anything beyond 556, actually is pretty difficult to control and your gun will inevitably at the very least shake from firing. So, in conclusion, you're bouncing around, your gun is bouncing around (and therefore your aim), your aim is further bouncing around from shooting full auto, and your target is also moving unpredictably. Good luck hitting those shots (no joke it's going to be pretty much all luck). In shootouts, full auto is pretty much only ever used for suppressive fire because not only are you wasting the limited amount of ammo you can carry on you, but you will actually be less likely to hit your target in the same time frame as trying to line up shots on semi. This is also why the argument that civilians should not be able to own full auto because it is more deadly is actually stupid because if trained soldiers have a hard time hitting people with full auto in a shootout, what chance does your untrained bullied school shooter have at hitting people with that same full auto? Chances are they burn out faster and just kill themselves with their remaining few rounds after spending most of it on nothing.
I can't believe the season end credits had Langston kissing Sarah Connors over the grave of Reacher. He better dig himself out before he runs out if air.
tbh Season 1 was amazing, really amazing, but the amount of bullshit in season 2 is just too much. Ofc I get it, it's an action movie so it makes sense that it's not very realistic, but the amount of bs in this season is just too much.
T-1000 is back, risen up from the death, and he says: "I'M BACK". The Terminator did not do a good enough job of destroying him. I hope Reacher can do it.
I once saw in an action movie that when you are choking someone, you never let go immediately after they die because breathing is an involuntary process in the human body and will immediately restart if let go immediately
My favorite part of the season is when two women holding pistols calmly walk down the center of a road, out in the open, no cover, no evasive maneuvers, no vests, calmly shoot down a criminal firing a fully automatic machine gun at them. The fully automatic machine gun from the military trained criminal magically misses every shot while the pistol shots from our heroes hit every mark. I also like hearing “he’s a ghost” dozens of times. Because hearing that is the only way we will know he’s an extra special bad guy.
Yes indeed Season 1 was amazing, really amazing, but season 2... i mean come on, so much bullshit. the motor gang that can just shoot them down but decides to fight , like wtff?! Indeed the two girls that kill all those bad guys easily like wtff, but at the same time Guy Russo cannot kill three men, why not? aah i forgot, because he isnt the main character. Just so much examples of things that are not only non realistic, but are just complete nonsense. All bad guys are like NPC's, like cops in GTA IV. like at the funeral, those "professional snipers (as they called them)" couldnt even hit one person! not one! Or Russo that just lacked cover and decided to shoot everyone wide open, like wtff. also he could have called the police instead of reacher, drive to a police station, i mean.. it isn't that the entire nypd is corrupt
@@mmm-me4kk Yeah, that dumb funeral scene where professional world class snipers decide to sit still while 5 lumbering get closer and closer. Season 1 wasn’t great but it was entertaining. Season 2 was a convoluted mess of terrible dialog, slow god-mode fights, and a confusing plot. I was constantly rewinding the show trying to figure out why they were dressed in suits, or going to a person’s house. I watched season 2 because I wasn’t the only one in the room. I will not watch season 3.
>military trained criminal They state a few times that Lanston's men are NOT military trained, they are mostly criminals he kept out of jail when he was a police officer, helping them in exchange for their future service.
Does filming in the dark make up for poor camera angles and cover up mistakes? Otherwise why are so many movies done so you can hardly see what is going on? Cheapens the overall quality of what was a good film.
How on earth is that man-mountain hiding himself? Is that bus a TARDIS or something? They should barely be able to get past him, let alone not see him 😂
The guys going to the bus are really like NPCs "Huh, what´s that there, must investigate." Like dude, I loved first season, but this one seems to be dumbed down quite a lot.
“How about the three of us point our machine guns at the car? What, No one is in the car??? Oh no! A woman just popped out of the trunk and shot me! And now she shot my buddies! Oh no! I’m dead now!”
@@TeamCap623 Ok, here's the thing. I will say NO. Rude right, no explanation, no reasoning, nothing, just statement that opposes your position. Why? Because that's what you did. In my original comment I put forward reasoning and specific example. Please put forward specific example or at least some reasoning why in your opinion S2 two is better, or your statement is meaningless.
@logical-checkmate Actually no you didn't put "forward reasoning" in your original comment, all you did was complain about how this season was dumbed down a lot compared to the first one. As for why I like this one more this season has the same level of intrigue as the first one if not more so, the acting is also fantastic, and the gun shootouts and hand to hand combat scenes have DEFINITELY improved since the 1st season.
Not as good as the 1st season. “Special” Investigators is right. These people are a bunch of incompetent clowns. Russo’s car was impossibly bullet proof! 😂 Yet he walks away from it. Reacher just seems like an awkward gorilla. Not the scary kind. More like Grape Ape or something. The rest of the team? They’re there is all that can be said.
This shows how superficial the series has become. They fire about 100 rounds into the cops car and no one gets hit. C'mon, man... Then, after a chase through the city, with guns blazing all the way, Neally calls out "Call 911" as though they would still be asleep in their nests. Geez, guys, wouldn't you think the cops would be all over the place by now? The series suffers by too much 'manly women' scenes and just unreal combat. Seems John Wick has influenced everyone by now.
@@tnsampson2 i see what your getting at but honestly if it was perfect to a t their would be no show lmao but the acting is something to be desired i suppose
@@tochukwuudu7763 Believe it or not, not all of us can use that word here on RU-vid. It all depends on your history on this platform, and on how many times your comments have been denounced as "hateful"...
My god this 2nd season is not good. A million rounds shot noone hit. Francis is played by a horrible actress and shes so tough. The adaptation by the writers is very clunky n random stuff just happens cuz the plot needs it to happen. They killed a great show. Good job i think the actors n writers need to go back on strike
