REACT to STAR GUARDIAN! | Light and Shadow, Burning Bright, A New Horizon, etc. | League of Legends 

There are currently two different „Star Guardian teams“: - Ahri‘s team (with Soraka, MF, Ezreal, Syndra) - Lux‘s Team (with Janna, Poppy, Lulu, Jinx) Before Soraka, Ezreal and Syndra became part of Ahri’s team, it also featured Xayah, Rakan and Zoe. At some point it turned out Zoe was evil and her former team mates fought her. During this fight Xayah & Rakan were both killed, but resurrected by Zoe afterwards. The problem: Zoe corrupted them to be evil as well, which is the „dark essence“ creeping over Neekos body at the end, because Zoe was about to corrupt her. After the fight where Xayah and Rakan died, Neeko was believed dead as well, but Xayah now wants to kill her for running. Rakan is fully aware of what is going on, and that’s why he takes Xayahs corruption upon him to protect her at all costs, waiting for the perfect opportunity to backstab Zoe. When Ahri comes to save the day, she holds 3 stones: One for each star guardian. The green one is Xayah‘s, the blue one is Rakan‘s but I’m not sure if the yellow one is Neeko or Zoe. The stones are kinda demolished because the owners are corrupted. Which might speak against the assumption that the yellow stone is Neeko since she isn’t corrupted. These stones can also been seen in Ahri’s cinematic when she opens her hand at the beginning, which means riot had been planning the star guardian story for years. They also said to make the 2019 SG skins have a different, darker theme, since it would be hard otherwise to avoid repetitive skins because the existing once already look so similar (just as you said). Oh, and Lux‘s team invited team Ahri for a pajama party, but not all of them showed up. Ahri for example (that’s why she’s one of the Star guardians without a pajama skin). While the others had a pajama party, she was saving Neeko from Zoe. However, Syndra wasn’t there at the party either, and it’s still not revealed what she has been doing... But according to her skin description „some members suspect that there is no price that Syndra won’t pay to achieve her personal ambitions“. Whether she’s corrupted in the end or not, we don’t know yet. Hope I could make things clearer for you Zoya! Greetings from Germany

It's going to be no doubt confusing without the supplementary references like the written skin lores and the other videos. Basically this dates back to Ahri's former team consisting of Miss Fortune, Xayah, Rakan and Neeko. Zoe is one of the first star guardians but was corrupted. They battled Zoe at some point and were overwhelmed by her and her forces. Xayah and Rakan fell into a nearby planet where they died despairing that their other teammates left them. Zoe came in and resurrected them, twisting their despair even further and turning them on their former teammates. Xayah, in her vengefulness, didn't mind being corrupted so long as she can get back at her former teammates but Rakan doesn't trust Zoe and is watching over Xayah, indulging in what she wants but ultimately getting ready to sacrifice himself even by taking her corruption upon himself. He hates them too but he has a bit less tunnel vision than Xayah as he is keeping an eye on Zoe. Neeko had ran away from the fight, away from Zoe and Ahri and her team. By the time of this animation though, they had tracked her down. Fun fact: MF was not there because she was at a Pajama Party hosted by Lux and the new guardians. Star Guardian Urgot best Guardian Eva! Can’t change my mind!

Burning Bright was first, it tells what Star Guardians are. A New Horizon is second(?), it tells that Star Guardians have no one to protect them when they're the ones in trouble. Light & Shadow is the third and shows exactly what I said in A New Horizon. You missed it but in the beginning of a New Horizon and the ending of Light & Shadow, there were three stones, the same three stones because it depicted Ahri's first team which is a team composed of: Ahri Miss Fortune Neeko Xayah Rakan Zoe is the aspect of twilight meaning she is the first evil-born Star Guardian(Kinda like when a Star Guardian and a Dark Star parent had a child) so in Light & Shadow, it depicts the fight of Xayah & Rakan being corrupted but Rakan is fully aware that they are corrupted, not so much Xayah who just follows in Zoe's plans. Neeko, on the other hand was trying to not get corrupted and Zoe almost got away with it if Ahri didn't arrive. Why did Miss Fortune not arrive there? This is where the Pajama Party comes in hence Pajama Guardians, there was a story in universe about this but long story short, Ahri, Syndra and another didn't arrive? I don't remember who but I was sure about Syndra and Ahri. So the reason being is Ahri was busy trying to hunt down and save her team. Basically Ahri is the leader of 2 teams and Lux is the leader of the 1st one(Basically in this universe, the one who is pink is the leader). So Ahri's current team is composed of: Ahri Miss Fortune Ezreal Syndra Soraka "We decide our own destiny" - Ahri, she said that because she is the first Star Guardian leader to have arranged 2 teams separate from each other. Lux's team depicts more of the innocent nature comprising of: Lux Jinx Poppy Lulu Janna This is also why their uniforms don't look the same as Ahri's team and Light & Shadow gave a whole new perspective to the Star Guardian Universe because it was told that(even in League Universe) Star Guardians are born from the first star who was mainly just spreading light when the universe was born, left its light to a few chosen ones or so..that's what everyone thought until Zoe showed up.

We need you to watch them in ORDER the 2nd one is first the 3rd one is 2nd and the 1st one was Recently. Zoe is an Oddball in the Story shes one of the First Star Guardians to be Corrupted and now she goes around Corrupting Other Star guardians, with Xayah and Rakan being the first Guardians she has Corrupted, I assume they are Chasing Neeko in order to Convert her into one of their own, Xayah, Rakan, Neeko, Ahri and Miss Fortune are I think the Oldest Star Guardians, but ever since Zoe corrupted Xayah and Rakan the Group fell apart and Ahri and Miss Fortune got new Members as seen in the 3rd Animation. Ahri Somehow found the 4 so she just came in dramatically.. By herself idk I can't explain this

Unpopular opinion but Zoe is indeed a ballanced champion.

The whole magical girl genre isn't coined by sailor moon it was just more popularized in the west by it, its a pretty common genre in anime and there are a bunch of anime surrounding it, I think I may have heard that the star guardian skins were actually inspired by the anime "Madoka Magica", What with the uncanny design of Lux (the main and first star guardian in the skin line) looking like the main character of the anime and the flying familiars each star guardian has, resembles a creature in the same show.

Tbh it’s hard to feel the emotions when you don’t know much about their background stories, I’d be very confused with all things going on lol

This Zoe IS Runeterra Zoe. Her power as the aspect of twilight allows her to transcend realities. As far as know, there are no alternate reality Zoes because Zoe herself is so ancient she's most likely outlived her alternate selves.

By Designs, my personal top 3 pick could be in order Xayah and Rakan Ahri Soraka In game, Xayah just stands out with her color changes after she uses ultimate and reverts back to dark one when she take back her feathers. Same as Rakan when his Q is charging it's heal. His color in his light form is cool in a way.

I too like Zoe. Ahri's team has the most interesting lore of her and Lux's teams.

tldr the star guardians goal is to beat the void. The first one, Zoe, found out after they do that they would just disappear and she was not happy about it. So she went around and killed Xayah/Rakan. Brought em back under her control and they are chasing down Neeko at the time of the first vid you were watching.
