If you get a good or great player at a decent cost, age doesn't matter, some players play well in their late thirties also an older player signed for 1 or 2 seasons has been done before like that Brady Guy.
Their SB window is now. If you can upgrade a position or two and have the money, now’s the time to do it. In a couple years the “they are so young” narrative becomes an exodus of players they can’t pay a 2nd contract to. Depends who the FAs are and how things are looking in camp, but you don’t just stay completely young simply because you are.
Loved Shaq Leonard when he was healthy. He also looked as if he lost a step last season when he signed with Philly. He'd really had to show he's healthy and his play last season was a byproduct of him being rusty after being away for awhile, before I'd offer him a camp invite.
We haven't signed 5 FAs in total over the last decade. However, I am certain Gute is always looking, and if a team-friendly signing of a seasoned vet that would bolster a spot presented itself, I feel confident he would do so. And yes, I would want him to do just that.
I totally agree, we don't need no More older players. We are a young Powerhouse. Our receiving core is Dangerous. We don't need ce de lamb.this core is close. Keep things Just as they are. They feed of each other . As I always say, Green Bay is The Mecca of the NFL. That G don't Stand for good. But "Greatness. " Jordan, this team taught us how to Love again. "Go Pack Go. "
Yeah that’s all great except when there are better players available than your young guys and you want to win a title, you should arguably do it. The reality is there are players who are starting on the packers at multiple positions or getting significant snaps who are average or below average nfl players at this stage of their career or who we maybe hope take a jump but haven’t proven anything yet. Why would we deny improving them for cheap during the peak window of contention?
No way. Stay far away as possible from this list. Even with our lack of depth at linebacker, Cunningham highlights one of the problems on defense for the past few years, too many missed tackles. No one on this list is worth a look.
We only have one really decent corner…. Let’s keep it real… the rest we’re hoping will turn out… I was always told growing up, wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up first…. Go Get Gilmore for ONE year until we can draft a CB next year within the first 3 picks!!! He would be a great addition for one season. He did a little above average last season with Dallas
As nice as that would be, we have a higher chance of getting Devante Adams or winning the Super Bowl. Ceedee would be way too expensive on both the trade and contract.
Any rumor that suggests an elite WR who’s already gotten the bag or would need to get the bag upon us getting them is clickbait nonsense that will never happen. The current WR corps is talented and cheap and will stay that way until some of them get paid in a couple years.
These are all over the hill players we don’t need anymore of these has beens NO this is bad ideas we don’t need to upset the the room we have a CB Kalen king who was considered last year as a #1 draft pick so no no no
The team moved on from David Bakhtiari after dealing with his knee injuries over the last few seasons. Rasheed Walker is the incumbent and he played pretty well last season. However, the team drafted Jordan Morgan with their 1st-round 2024 NFL draft pick. It’s unclear whether he’s a tackle or guard, though. Our offensive coordinator Alex Stenavich has been non-committal about where he’ll line up in 2024-25. He played tackle at Arizona but he doesn’t have the prototypical length for the position in the NFL. If they feel like he’s going to need some technical work before trying to play tackle in the league, then they would need to bring in someone to compete with Rasheed Walker for the starting job. D.J. Humphries is one of the best options available. The former Pro Bowler is still solid in pass protection and would at least be a great swing tackle at 30 years of age. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
