I uninstalled, it's not that hard guys…its a video game, it's not drugs we are talking about here.

The game has been getting worse each year. After playing FIFA ultimate team for 10 years straight this one was the final straw. I quit the game around TOTY, gameplay was bad, store packs kept getting bigger and more expensive, while pull rates are getting worse and worse. EA have realized how to maximize their profits this game. 1. Make most packs untradable. 2. Keep releasing even more expensive packs as time goes on. I was so surprised to see that EA is releasing up to 700k packs for 4500 points. What’s going to stop them from releasing 1 mil packs at this point. 3. Make the pull rates lower in other packs so that you’re forced to buy the more expensive packs if you want a “high chance” of getting a good player. I quit the game for the betterment of my mental health and finances. However it is sad to see what the franchise I loved for so many years has turned into. Unless there’s actual change in EA practices I won’t be playing or buying any of EA future football games.

EA revealing what rewards should be and what they make them (garbage) is the biggest take away from this incident. Thank you EA. You're not getting a penny from me again. Also I'm going to actively tell people I meet about your antics. In hopes I can lower your income even the slightest.

FIFA 18 really was 6 years ago, holy fuck. That was the last FIFA with monthly rewards for weekend league.

.I uninstalled FIFA on Friday for the first time ever since i started playing in 2008 and I don't intend on re-installing it. Its took me a while, but I realised I just don't enjoy playing it anymore. I been playing Elden ring and Dragons Dogma 2 and its not even a question that both of these games are way better, its time for us all to play better games in my opinion.

The thing no one is talking about is how Career Mode hasn't worked properly all year. They put in a system where you can do training and get temporary playstyles for your players. Well some of the trainings will brick the game when entering a match. We also have a coach system, but you can fire them. I've literally restarted careers becuase I didn't know about the coaches thing. They said they know about the issues but just never fixed it. There are a few mods to fix it and I use them, but that shouldn't be the solution to the issues

The sidemen ruined this franchise showing EA that there is a fan base out there that will throw all their money into UT, complete sellouts, they know what they’ve done

Hey Nick, I have a suggestion, real talk. I'm 40 years old with a job, and life and kids.. yet I've played this game since it's 98 version, and in some years, PES... I agree with everything you've said, and I suggest all of us protesting to play FIFA 23 instead. Why? 1) we boycott this FC 24 cr*p game 2) we still play a game that is football and miles better than this game on both consoles and PC 3) most of us have top tier very end game cards 4) it will be fun as there is no chase up for rewards, its competing for fun, winning isn't a priority anymore 5) and most importantly, get kids less addicted to surprise mechanics (scientifically speaking, we need 21 to 42 days to break the habit and replace it with a better one) 6) it would ring the EA's bell for sure, and incur them drops on projected revenue and profit 7) bonus reason: it's FIFA franchise, FIFA 23, so it might wake some employees at EA who have a little bit of leftover conscious. I literally got my 11th win, after quitting so many when I went 1 down to get a quick 11, I checked twitter when I was loading back into the menus, and they tweeted 2 minutes prior. I put the controller down, left the room and haven't touched, not just the game, but my Xbox since, I'm passed burnt out, Idek know what I am, it's not just FIFA/FC that is getting ruined for me, it's gaming as a whole.

Packed my first ever icon this year. Got TOTY mbappe from an 83x100. Ronaldinho and TOTY R9 from icon picks. Cruyff, Viera, Maldini from store packs. I’ve never had a team this good yet Ive never wanted to play fifa less than I have this year. There is little to no enjoyment in the game this year. Went from Div 1 player to hardstuck dive 3 because of how people play to the ‘meta’. The game doesn’t even resemble football anymore man shits sad

Today i finally did it. Sweated through champs and got 90 and 91 reds. That's when I realized that this is bullshit. Quick sold the whole club, and spent all the coins on packs and quick sold those too and my brain got clearer almost instantly😂

I played champs on Saturday and Sunday because I have a life and I was busy on Friday and didn’t watch much RU-vid and I played the game, got my same old 💩 “rewards” and went on with my life not knowing anything had happened until I saw this bid

At TOTY I packed Bonmati, (first TOTY I ever packed) and for 3 seconds I was happy, then a thought hit me; I have to play a game now with this new sick card.. happiness didnt last long, and I got a miserable feeling, for what? Having to play a game of football... that made me uninstall, happy to see this movement now, respect you a lot for it Nick!

Game is absolutely unplayable if you don’t spend money, especially this year. Every year I was elite Div and got around 16 wins in WL but it’s just not worth anymore. Every 3 sec disconnect out of menu, horrible mechanics, horrible animations. I switched to league of legends and even tough most people say it’s tilting I rage not a single bit bc I know if I fuck up it’s my fault and not the games. It’s so good to switch to a game in which skill is actually rewarded and you see progress. Not this EA pay too win shit. Find yourself another game guys …

I feel so cheated by how many hours I played this game and got shit players week after week, inconsistent gameplay, slow unplayable game on my Ps5... even Squad Battles it's messed up...I just wish I can get my time spent playing this game so for now I will just play max 3 games a day on Squad Battles and that's it... next year I won't buy it or get it for £5. Stay mentally healthy guys! Go out more and let them EA go to hell!

I've been F2P for years now, but this is the first season where I experienced the complete lack of desire to play after building a good team. Once I built the team it just felt like there wasn't anything else to "go for". They just patch, change meta, release cards for new meta, wash, rinse repeat. Just kinda felt like it wasn't going to get any better so I dropped it altogether. At which point I learned a lot of the "adds" for Career Mode really DETRACT from the fun of previous years. Fallout 4 to the rescue.

Yeah, but we all know this for years, even decades now. EA is just a bs company, but until there are new, better, other virtual football games who can compare to FIFA / EA FC, we all know we will buy the next one too. I stopped from 2018-2020 and also came back, cuz there is no other game like this and many of my friends play it too. Its just a childhood memory, we grow up with FIFA and EA now that and use it against us.

First rank 3 ever this weekend and actually ended up getting marquinhos, so I can't complain. Still seeing that literally every single other option in both my picks was 91 or lower is a bit ridiculous.

What they should do is have a points system added to the rewards so like this: You still get those shitty rigged picks but at the end you get a certain amount of points so you can use them to get players. For example: get rank one you get 10 points, Mbappe would be 50 points. So you could have saved your points from other weeks and get him when he comes out. Those points would only be earned and could not be purchased. That way even if you get rank 5 and save enough eventually you could get one monster player by just playing the game. They could still have the casino stuff they love so much and people who play the game could at least get somewhat rewarded. Not talking about the gameplay and all the other garbage of course 😂

I played this game on pc and im from Malaysia. Online match game is unplayable my player cannot move but opponent player can. I thought "oh maybe my ping is bad" . Then i go back after few days still same problems. Then i check reddit and wow im not the only one having the same problem . I didn't play the game since then and that was around January.

I play fc 24 and fc mobile but last year in fifa mobile there was a glitch in toty packs when they came and people got best players from every pack for like 15 minutes. What did EA did? They gave compensation picks even though it was little bit late,but cmon even mobile game did better in that regard. Both console and mobile versions need work but how can they improve if they dont listen the players and just continuing doing whatever they want

I packed Al Owairan the day his promo was released and benched him because i was bored xD. This game really makes me feel completely nothing. I feel like I've lived everything 15 times and I am good to go. I am really expecting someone to release another football game and try it out, until then i can stick to Fm or other stuff.

I had already decided a few weeks ago that this would be my last year of Fifa, but after this video and the last few weeks I don't see the point in continuing to play and have now uninstalled the game. It's not about EA Sports learning anything from it, it's just about having a better life, going to bed earlier and having more energy at work and in my normal life. There was a disconnect glitch that I went through in both fifa 22 and 23 and I had EA support string me along for months to no avail. They didn’t even believe me until I showed them video proof that it was a bug on their end not mine and still didn’t do Jack shit for me or any compensation. After that I knew it was wraps for this dogshit company. After a long time buying fifa I skipped out on FC 24 and went to eFootball.

EA had this same problem with mystery packs in Madden this year within the day it was taken out of the game. They’ve pushed this insane level of greed into everyone of their products. I mean for ffs 2k24 doesn’t even have an auction house this year cause they just want people to spend money to earn cards. Big agree on the PC performance. Why the hell is my GPU temps at 70C IN THE MENUS? Literally nothing is happening that requires that much load. Meanwhile, during actual gameplay my graphics card would sit at a nice 55-60C, just tragic how this sad excuse of a game feels performance wise.

Funny thing is I still play FIFA 23 and never bought 24 which seems like the best move I could’ve made. I can’t wait if 2k get the FIFA tag. I’m going to buy it so fast because if you’ve ever played NBA 2k they know what they’re doing.

Hey Nick I'm a massive fan and will probably get mocked and laughed at for this comment but I'm a div 1 player and get 11 wins consistently on champs I'm not the best player, i do play old gen, but I'm so tired of the gameplay being so bad, I will be in a great position attacking wise and the AI doesn't make runs, I concede silly goals because AI completely moves one of your CBs out of the way and the player switching is atrocious. Don't even get me started on how bad the finishing is, I have 94 Jairzinho and when he gets through and misses a green timed shot tells you everything. The passing is even worse, I wont lie it does kill my motivation to play it.

Also to note the lack of tradeable packs, no tradable foundation rewards and no welcome packs. Also the moments game mode might as well not have been introduced. Its not utilised at all. Used to love fifa but seeing the push towards store packs makes me realise EA just want our money even more. And even then, the money isn't being used to fix their servers.
