@@Shidukz I mean to be fair this video's slides go by so fast it can be hard to read so he was just probably looking at the end of the numbers quickly lol I was like WHAT NO I already feel old - don't make them THAT much younger than me haha
Awesome that you did a better guide. :) Definitely check out the pre-debut Performance videos I-III and there's a Yunho solo too. They're all short, like 1 minute or so each. Thanks for sharing!
FIX ON! Mingi makes it to be his signature before he raps, since "X-ON" sounds like "Song" (his family name, full name=Song Mingi) in Korean. (He said himself in an interview) Which I think is really cool! Thank you Chris! for reacting to ATEEZ. I love your reaction videos. I can't wait to see their next comeback
For the pre-debut performance videos you can type "KQ fellaz performance video" into youtube and they will all come up pretty much immediately. The ones shown in this video are just titled with "performance video I" "II" and "III" respectively, as well as "Yunho solo"
A lot of idol trainees start when they are in middle school. If the get in as a trainee to a company they often have to move out of their parent's home, (a lot of times out of their home towns). So they are "raised" by those around them, which is why idol groups are so close. Also if you see am idol say "I was 15 when I started as a trainee", Korean age is different. 15 in Korea could mean 13 or 14 western age. And so middle schoolers can start training when they are 11 (and some trainees start younger).
Thanks for taking a look at another guide haha. Hope you're enjoying their personalities, music, dance, performance, etc. so far! Also, they just uploaded the dance practice to Answer if you're interested in that :)
It’s easier if you learn the Hangul for pronunciation purposes as sometimes they romanise names with a u when they use the letter ㅓ which is eo and sometimes they use the letter u for ㅜ which is actually a u and is a long u sound like a double o. So being able to read the letters would give you an indicator on the pronunciation. The letter ㅗ (o) as used in Hongjoong’s name (the ㅜ is used in the second part) is a slightly longer o sound if you listen carefully (a bit like saying the letter o halfway with an English accent and halfway with a Scottish accent), so not just pronounced as rhyming with long. The eo is a shorter o sound just like saying the letter o in the alphabet (with an English accent). Therefore this makes Yeosang’s name pronounced like the ‘yo’ in ‘yolo’. Seonghwa is then like ‘song’. Mingi’s surname Song is with the ㅗ letter therefore pronounced as Song with a longer vowel sound. Yunho uses the ㅜ u letter again therefore is pronounced Yoonho. Mingi uses the ㄱ letter which gives more of a sound halfway between a ‘g’and a ‘k’ so sometimes you’ll hear it pronounced as Minki and another idol in NU’EST with the same name spells it with a k. San is prounounced with a short English a sound, not saan or sorn as sometimes reactors will pronounce it as even when they’re English speakers just because of the accent they have. Jongho is straight forward lol and Wooyoung- again if you listen carefully, whenever Koreans say w names like Wooyoung or Wooseok, Woojin etc it’s not a clear w sound. It’s more of a breathy ‘ooh’ starting with the lips in a closed pout shape. Occasionally you will hear the w more clearly but most of the time you don’t. Again if you look at the Hangul, Yunho and Wooyoung have the same surname- 정 or Jeong, but they often spell it Jeong for Yunho and Jung for Wooyoung. San’s surname Choi is written as it’s spelled but actually pronounced more like Chae if you pay attention to when they say it. Hope that helps! :)
hi this is later than all other ones you have but you have to react to ateez wonderland its one of my favourite by far of all thier songs its amazing you have to watch the M/V the relay dance and the dance practice you really get to see thier dance skills in that song.
Hi Greetings from Brazil! Please, react to Taemin's choreographer: koharu sugawara in the Urban Dance Camp (specially the choreo for "somebody that I used to Know"). She's phenomenal!!
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_137gf8Rshk.html this is a compilation video of their predebut dance covers. It has the Kqfellas performance vids 1,2,and 3. It also has the Growl cover and some shorter covers. The only one it doesn't have is Yunho's solo performance vid.
