I like both of these youtubers they are just clearly finding conflict through one another instead of from where it originates which is the fact that the community is upset and not in the best place at the moment. In my opinion this comes from the "skill" matchmaking system paradox that most games have had a problem with in the last few years.

While that is correct - most of tru3's observations have been mostly in relation to "bully" type players. The point of hardcore challenge is the challenge, not the bullying part. So while the smurf account is required for this challenge, I don't think the way they play fits under the description of what content tru3 is talking about.

i do have a few points to counter his argument. first its fairly common for good survivors to be low mmr especially if they play solo , you often llop the killer for a long time and get left on hook etc also i've noticed that if you play in the morning the games are generally less sweaty, it could also be that they record 30 games for every game they end up posting on yt
Here's some Tru3 lore for you guys Back in 2017 Tru3 called out another streamer's wife who was smurfing for content and bullying killers. Said streamer was the one who ever since talked shit behind Tru3's back and hated on him in a weird circle jerk with other streamers. Also the streamer that 3 years ago started a witch hunt against Tru3 for being "ableist". Then after that Tru3 was racist, homophobic, ect despite never having any sort of these claims prior to being called ableist.

dont really have much of an opinion either way, but i feel like there's a difference between what they did on hardcore survivor vs what other people are complaining about. during hardcore they rushed through the lowbie killer games by just being as efficient as possible and escaping, there wasn't much bullying

The main point TrU3 stated was that he's simply not interested in watching that type of content. The extreme offense and harassment towards TrU3 is unnecessary. He is allowed to like or dislike other content creators content, and not once does he ever say names, which they gladly say names and are indeed far worse.

I would like to say, algorith Doesnt mean you watch. I see hens and others recommended but I don't watch them. RU-vid algorithm doesnt force you to watch their content, just pushes up content. Also, to smurf people can use alt accounts. Not saying they do smurf, but we know many people have been guilty of smurfing before which is many survivor tubers and people will remain skeptical. @@PezDBD just checked out aryun guy, he doesnt show end screen in his non streams recently, checked out recent uploads. The irri shard talking point is irrelevant for undocumented content, unless someone of course can find the matches live. Even when he showed an end screen, he ommitted his own profile by zooming in. That's why some people show the end screen when matches end to not just show perks, even if it's a 4k or escape. Also, idk how new you are but many survivor peeps have been known to smurf to make videos and compilations. Do check that out from years ago.
We are all watching True get gaslighted in real time. Not that he is falling for it but that he is facing it. What true is speaking about is facts. I witness the same thing. Views are mainly built by entertainment. You see success rates higher for people like JRM and Ayrun because they are huge memesters for DBD on youtube. Its entertaining, yes, but it does not represent high level gameplay nor skill from both sides in the videos. A lot of DBD content on youtube is memeing and juking. These are hard to pull off/very rare against good killers. Other examples, SppokyLoopz and D34D. These two make entertainment content for DBD with these random builds with no gen defense and pull off wins. No way you can get away with it at high mmr. I've tried many times. These type of content creators will record many games just to get content for a single video. If you want raw footage of their skill level, watch their streams. You'll get more organic data of what they go up against but then again you will be able to tell if they are smurfing or purposely lowering their mmr. People just need to be truthful but thats not what youll get because they got the fame and money and this is all they have for income so they will deny it to not risk defamation.
Well of course they can't meme build and win anyway, else why would anybody playing on "I'm doing a challenge run" always take the best perks, it's because they are aware that after consecutive victories, you're going End-Mid MMR or Top MMR directly, which means either Killers who are on a mission, or Survivors who are Navy Seals.

This is so funny to see, if you feel like you need to defend yourself from a general statement (as True never said who) you just streisand effect yourself. The best argument they could present is that there is no smurfing since the game has awful matchmaking allowing them to gather clips as ever other killer is garbage and they just flip between getting rolled over by the killer and rolling over the killer. Also by the design of the content they would be naturally smurfing: if you dont play to win but play for funny clips you naturally play below your skill level, you need to play to win to play at your level.

I think if you have a lot of experience in any game it's obvious to see who is smurfing, for example im a 2kd player in cod and i can tell you exactly how good someone is just from seeing the way they move, even before fighting them. In DBD its the same just by seeing the way someone moves, loops and things like that.

You never name drop yet they bring up specific content creators. It’s not hard to derank a few games to get easy survivors/killers and it’s even easier to get that late at night when the matchmaking is at its most lenient. This guy wants evidence but you can clearly see in some survivor videos that these killers chase for 5 gens, can’t run tiles, and don’t use their powers effectively indicating that killer is new to the game.
I was featured in some TikTok creators short of the three times they and their flashbang bully squad blinded me. What they didn’t show was that was literally the only three times they got me the whole game out of at least 15 flashbangs. They were so bad I just started picking up right in front of them and they’d still miss with two of them trying at the same time. But they post it like they’re good.
Theres a reason why the Only DBD Content Creators I watch are TrU3 and Noob3, I dont enjoy watching people just bullying killers and pulling off plays that wouldn't work on competent players, but Noob3 had some really funny edits back in the day and was the reason I got into DBD.
You come off as condescending because you challenge an argument's fundamentals (logic) while their argumentation is founded on emotion (how their experience make them feel). In doing so you offend them because you're diving below the surface to show them the shallowness of their moorings.
In my opinion this whole ordeal is designed and planned by the game developers. It is not the fault of the deceived but that of the deceiver. The deception is the fairness in the ranking system of dbd. Same problem can be compared to many other games. Since their has been an influx of new survivors to dbd there is bound to be smurfs. Smurfing only ends when games can't find new consumers.
All this drama Tru3 gets into is always fueled by a misunderstanding of his points and takes, or a twisting of his actual wording. I’m a fan of all of these content creators involved in this “drama”, but I can’t forgive the ones who choose to consume the fabricated and tampered points. This is unlike the guys.
My take is that TrU3 made and observation and shared it on twitter. It gives an exaggerated figure (99%). Making a tongue n' cheek observation =/= making an accusation. If i'm wrong and it is a type of accusation, the burden of proof is on TrU3. TrU3 isn't going to do that; end of discussion. Anyone whining at this point is just stirring the pot.
simple answer to why are u seeing them 99% of the time is because it's the most popular and entertaining content to watch. not a lot of regular players wanna watch the high level lobbies, where everything is a sweat and nothing funny happens. I just play even though I'm not great. Disingenuous content creators aren't my thing, I stay away from them, And honest gamers gravitate towards honest creators... And i believe that's what Tru3 attracts. Many people find truth as their enemy, And will do anything to fight against him. Typically strawman arguments ( many seen in this video )
Someone with such a strong bias at times will not attract, honest gamers, it will attract ones that share the same ideology, in some cases Survivor bad, killer good. he may speak honestly, but it is with great bias and only true to him.
So if Tru3 talks generally about the community without naming anyone, despite saying "think for yourself", that is actually a "dog whistle" instructing all of his viewers to go and harass and accuse content creators. So here's the thing about SWF or playing with friends. Overwatch and Valorant have Que filters that make them more likely to go against other potential stacks. (This is by design) However; before this, stacks Que'd with solo Q players way more frequently. (Popular Overwatch CC "Flats" and other popular CC's have voiced their concerns for this about how it was NOT fun going against a stack as a solo Q and how it was bad for the game) Now stacks go against other stacks way more than before. DBD is a 1v4. So how is it fair for the killer to not at least know they are going against a SWF? Comp killers know because they go against it everyday. (There are also RULES they set to make it more fair for both sides. He mentions the thing about Fortnite @48:57 . Why does it have to be THAT suggestion for a debuff when in order to play with friends, it's mainly against 2v2 teams. That would obviously NOT work for that game because the players are equal and are balanced accordingly. He is acting like nerfing SWF would mean slapping the players in the face and giving them broken status effect. Instead of looking for a potential solution to an obvious problem with the game, he deflect by not contributing to the convo and saying "nu uh".
You’ve made a good decision with these react videos. It keeps the discussion going, even if 80% of people who see it aren’t rational. Having the discussion out there is still useful and it will be a positive for your channel as long as you keep being honest and informed.
I have 7k hrs in this game. I used to play 50/50 but I am playing more survivor nowadays. Most games are just normal or a sweat feast, but sometimes I face the odd casual killer (because killers still dodge P100s) who either get's looped for an eternity by me or just ignores me after a long chase. When I watch YT content of DbD which includes some "insane survivor techs" or "showcase of build XXX" one can assume that it's cherry picked content by the creator. If I do a goofy build or some "insane stuff" it won't work the majority of the time, until I get a less experienced killer. There is a reason why not a single CJ tech I tried over the 5.5 years I have been playing worked (it also never worked against me so far as well). This is something only inexperienced players will let you do. Maybe an insane save happens ONCE but every killer with a decent amount of brain cells will not fall for it again.
The irony of these videos is that many of these different creators will create drama through self insertion of a perspective to point at True as a person who specifically targets creators taking great lengths to go out their way to get an emotional reaction out of True to say they're right. The entire basis of True's previous "drama" was off of baseless claims taken out of context for the "Ah-hah!" moment they for some reason want still today. Creators that bandwagon off of drama similar to this don't create this content for the betterment or improvement of the individual, but rather create a severe scapegoat mentality no matter how much they repeat to "Don't go after this creator", even though its likely the whole video is for personal popularity. The most correct view if someone dislikes TrueTalent, is don't give him attention if they don't like him. True does not maliciously defame content creators meticulously, so why do they?

Creating a very simple "hey guys DO NOT SEND HATE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WE ARENT LIKE THAT" at the start of your video and reinforcing that several times is a very sound way of stopping most audiences from witch hunting. Many and I mean many of the top creators do this the first that comes to the top of my head being Summit1G watching "Exposed hacker on twitch" videos all the time and all he says is "Hey guys don't send hate or anything this is just for content purposes lets be civil" and nobody has called him out for that. Although you could argue they are 100% hackers the consequences would be worse I don't think Tru should be making such wide statements (his original tweet) without backing it up. The whole reverse Freudian slip thing is cringe and not even reasonable to assume. It's like saying "That's what a liar would say!" Just makes no sense to accuse someone who's accusing another person of Freudian slipping of Freudian slipping. Opinion =/= Accusation. While true it can be seen as an accusation when you make such positive claims up to 99% that you have seen. I'll take this to an extreme and then maybe a less extreme example. "99% of women are bad drivers that I've seen" which is an "opinion" but the net is so wide it comes off like an accusation. Then "99% of chocolate candy to me tastes horrible" Is a very clear way of saying you just don't like chocolate. 30:28 "You do what you want on your twitter" yes! fair but Tru is a public figure and if he makes off the cuff tweets people will take them and extrapolate whatever they think is going to fit their narrative out with. There is two ways to deal with that. Option 1 the Chad route, do not give any fucks what anyone takes away from your tweets. Option 2, Just take 1 minuet to think about how what you are typing could be taken out of context as. 31:34 is probably my favorite part of the video as It is the most fair take I've seen and is basically the same feedback I've given as the one above. While there will always be a subset of people that twist your words out of context Tru could 100% benefit by making it harder for them to twist. While twisting what you say out of context is bad I do not like his philosophy of just letting it happen and then blaming people for coming to bad faith interpretations when Tru makes it incredibly easy for them to. I am Pro communication for Tru as I think Tru's talk with Otz was one of if not my favorite piece of DBD content I have ever consumed. It was a friendly disagreement on how the game should be balanced and it should have set a precedent for civil disagreements. I'm going to stop the video here as I do not care to type anymore and I doubt anyone will really read all of this. The effort was made. Maybe down the line if I ever become a Content creator I will make a video on this.
I seen it'sbethlol show up on my tweet feed the other day where she made a tweet insulting tru3 then retweeted that tweet saying not to insult tru3 because it's not tolerated. The double standards they have is ridiculous.

I wouldn't even say Aryun is True's rival ever...and I've been watching Trues content and Aryunns content for years...The only "rival" in the lightest of terms I would say is Otz, and even then they aren't really "Rivals" they just have differing opinions on the game in some areas, and agree in other areas...

Here's what I think. Survivor main content creators don't necessarily smurf for the purposes of content creation. There are many other reasons to explain it, and anyone I see getting baby killers I give the benefit of doubt for those reasons. I have 3 strong reasons: 1) MMR cap is low, lot of people reach it, therefore very good players are treated the same as very average-ish ones. 2) The MMR gap the matchmaking allows seem to be high, so the players the game treats as very average may be matched with below average players. 3) Time of day and geographic circumstances may make their pool of players different than mine. Almost everyone acknowledges that killer is easier in daytime, survivor is easier in nighttime. Add to this the fact that someone who lives in an area with lower amount of players will have less good players the game can match you with. For these reasons, even the blanket statement that most survivor main CC that get baby killers are smurfing is something I disagree with. That all being said, it feels like Tru3 is painted as this boogeyman reason by salty content creators getting accusations from the community. They don't realize that saying most of these people coming from True is as baseless a blanket statement as True saying there is a smurf CC epidemic. I'll also take this opportunity to say that I think DBD should be transparent about matchmaking. It's stupid that they aren't. That's it. That's my opinion. No one asked for it, but here it is.

It’s wild for me who somehow found true via YT recommendation AFTER I got destroyed by SWF 4 man as newbie killer when stream give free access to DBD and drop it( should be 2-3+ years ago where infinite loop still there and I don’t know about it) Checked him out to “maybe I play it wrong, let’s see CC play it and learn, maybe I got motivation back to get good in DBD” Those time was fun times where true will often give hatch to 4th survivor and survivor usually doing the “offering item” in return or before leaving. The YT comment isn’t THIS bad too. I noticed it starts went to shitshow when he talk about MMR and HOOK > KILL and comment starts to get more harsher and lots of “IT’S KILLER NOT HOOKER” since I don’t check twitter, I don’t know if the drama was way before that or not but in YT, it’s kinda start around that time. Idk who starts that shit and it’s kinda weird that it start the whole snowballed into making True into “DBD’s dumpster” for years where you can threw shit at him with no real consequences because he deserved it. Now the DBD meta is shit. Each side just rush their objective to win the game because they can. If they don’t then other side will do it and make you lose horribly so you kinda have to do it. Imagine to MOBA where dev increase dmg to structure to the point that people just rush base instead of playing team fight because it’s faster and if you don’t do it. Others side will rush you instead. Idk, Do we really have to point out the “Bad balance comp game” in 2024? Any gamer who grow enough should experience it at least one and know how stupid and unfun the game is in “High bracket” already. Like HoN in 201x where people rush to pick earthshaker or anti earthshaker because he got buff to able to freaking bomb the whole team by himself if he got blink. You either managed to harass ES the whole game or failed to do it and get destroyed in team fight. And each side knows what they have to and there’re not many “meta” character to play in the first place so you usually see the same hero again and again (unless you threw a game and make your teammate live harder than usual because you didn’t pick the usual meta hero)

TBH this is why I like watching you at otz. As I actually feel the games are relatable. With Ayrun and especially JRM it feels like they get baby killers. This guy assumes Tru3’s intent is to inflect harm vs Tru3 just stating his observation. I am also assuming here 🥴 3. You can disagree with Tru3, but like with anyone you disagree with, you have to give a reason as to why. If you're going to publicly state that you disagree with someone, you then have to understand that people are probably going to criticize your assessment and point out why they think your grounds for disagreement aren't valid, or aren't correct. There's only been a few times where Tru3 has said something I truly thought to myself, "Nah, I don't think that's right", but they were fairly inconsequential things to the point that it was a while ago and I don't even remember what they were. In fact, it might have been one of those instances where my reaction was to think that what he said wasn't correct, but maybe if I were to talk to Tru3 about it and get some clarification, I would realize we did agree, or I would get to hear him expand on his thoughts and perhaps one of us would change our position. But the fact of the matter is that I can't even remember what they were, and even if something did come up again that I thought Tru3 was wrong about, I'm fairly sure I would not make a video about it unless I had some extremely strong evidence to support my claim, otherwise I'd just look like someone trying to become relevant on the Twitch / RU-vid space by baiting someone bigger into giving me airtime.
honestly being a fan of ayrun and tru3 I can say that A. he is not talking about ayrun and specifically saying he doesnt watch his content. Ayrun definetely has videos against good and bad killers which means he clearly doesnt smurf or derank. B. when we talk about meme shit we look at old stuff like ochido content... ill name drop lol. A point on the killer being shown around 39:30 I usually take a break from this game for a couple months at a time and every time I come back for the first ten games it will tell you who the killer is So on that note I don’t think it would be difficult to have 3 or more accounts that you swap between every so often to go against baby killers it happens to me every time I feel like loading up after 3 months
