Reacting to All TOARU SERIES Openings for the FIRST TIME 

Bro in toaru series there are : -a certain magical index ( the nun one) -a certain scientific railgun ( the girl who has lightning), also she flips coins coz she fires it as a bullet in a railgun with her lightning -a certain scientific accelerator ( the white hair dude) this franchise has both magic and science and they mix up together, you should watch it is good. watch with the release order is the best for me.

1. The girl who looks like nun...is nun. Also she is The Magical Index. 2. Yes, it's a about science AND magic. 3. Some of the characters are created in a lab and experimented on. 4. She is flipping coins because with her electrical abilities she can use those as projectiles, this is why people are calling he Railgun (which device does the same thing). 5. The nun is from the series called A Certain Magical Index, this OP here from the series called A Certain Scientific Railgun...tho some characters appear in all series. 6. Not, she is always using coins in bullets. 7. Those windmills are making electricity for the city... 8. Said goggles are connecting a group of clones (of the Railgun girl) via network. 9. Yes, you should be confused. Three interconnected series (A Certain Magical Index, A Certain Scientific Railgun and A Certain Scientific Accelerator) aired out of chronological order which sometimes present same events but from different points of view. 10. #1 series for world building and power system. Has great characters on top. The original light novel started in 2004 and there are over 50 volumes now, not counting spin offs mangas which are also canon and often explain parts of the world. 'Toaru' translates to 'A Certain', thus the naming for every entry in the series goes 'A Certain Magical/Scientific Something'. Index, Railgun and Accelerator are the main ones with anime adaptation; others include Dark Matter, Mental Out, Astral Buddy and Idol Accel. Fun fact : the timeline is ridiculously short. Every event from the entire series happens in six months, from early June to New Years Eve. The anime only goes until October. Meaning there's usually multiple story arcs running in parralel.

Put simply there are people with natural superpowers(grmstones), there is the magicians that started by trying to imitate the gemstones powers eventually becoming a secret society and one of the most powerfull magicians broke off of that society to create a city for scientific academies to research and artificially recreate the gemstones in the regular people and every faction is either in open conflict or in tense armistice with each other and among themselves and the MC is the one person that can shut them down by punching them in the face

this series is basically magic vs science, magicians vs espers

16:05 it's the opening song for the game. Toaru Kagaku no Railgun and Accelerator are spin offs from the main Index series. But their stories are connected only in the different perspectives of each of the main characters. And yes, they are in the same universe.

Misaka Mikoto is also called Railgun because of her electro magnetic powers . And when she uses a coin it becomes a projectile .

The one that starts with "Everything reflects the darkness" is A Certain Scientific Accelerator, meaning it's the character Accelerator's spin-off series. If you knew more about Accelerator, the lyric "Shadow is the Light" is the perfect analogy of him. Dude is super overpowered and has done terrible things, and sees himself as a villain. He's done so much good now though, ever since getting socked in his pretty face by main character of the original series. Accelerator can reflect things and send them back to you at a greater speed. He can reverse the blood flow in your body or tamper with the electricity in your body, shocking the absolute fuck outta you. He also threw a skyscraper at another building.

The OP music from Railgun series (a certain scientific railgun / toaru kagaku no railgun) is all from a japan band called Fripside, they're specialized at make OP music on various anime in japan My only railgun, level 5 judgelight, and sister's noise are some of fripside's song title that used in railgun anime series

These are two series. A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun. The first is the main story the second is a spin-off. What makes this difficult to follow is that both intertwine. Index has the nun and centers on religion and magic. Railgun's focus is on science. Both try to explore the potential ups and downs of these world views. There is a spin-off to the spin-off: A Certain Scientific Accelerator (the dude with the crutch ant earphones). Easy to follow, maybe no.

The openings were in a semi correct order. I don't know if they did it chronologically or if it was an accident. A lot of the ones with the 4 girls are from a spinoff series. By semi correct I mean that openings 1, 2, 3 and so on were correctly placed after one another, but they fit in a bunch of other openings between them for some reason.

A good way to look at it is - mutants and mages.
