Amira has a relationship with several, veterans groups in the states that use her music for therapy. She was asked to contribute a performance for an online streaming concert to honor the vets and this performance was her contribution. Her music has helped a lot of suffering people across the planet suffering from physical pain or psychological pain and suffering. Proof of healing vibrations in her angelic voice.
I just LOVE to hear Amira's speaking voice every bit as much as I love her singing voice! Her speaking voice is just so sweet, adorable, melodious, and full of radiance and joy! Her strong faith in God, her love and empathy for others, and her strong, pure character values come flooding out of her heart and soul both in her speaking and in her singing! She is a wondrous, angelic young lady (and I say "lady" in the highest and best definitions of the word)!
Thank you Pappy D for another great reaction to Amira! Take no notice of the critics (that's their problem?) for all of us that truly LOVE Amira, she is our Amira, only Amira! As a very proud daughter of a WW2 ANZAC veteran, I can tell you that to this day Dutch children are raised to have every respect for all veterans including the USA veterans that liberated them in WW2. Amira would have been very proud to be part of this concert for veterans! Love from Australia.
Amira's incomparable natural pure and beautiful singing voice is a great talent. Many Amira fans, myself included, will be looking forward to her tour of the Worlds this year when Amira turns 19.
Thank you for a good reaction This song was first sung by Danny Kaye,in the film Pinochio in which he starred. Amira does justice to this song by singing it at a slower tempo. Her dad playing the piano.Cheers from,Michael Jonathan Lewis,Johannesburg, South Africa.
Think the concert was autumn 2021. It was streamed online with about 15 (?) Contributers from around the world. It was in aid of veteran charities. This was Amira 's contribution. I wasn't too impressed when I first heard it, I wasn't keen on the piano which sounded slow and clunky, but it's grown on me and I appreciate Amira's vocal control to hold those long notes perfectly. She started on opera, but she has sung more popular stuff you might like, Amazing grace, Sound of Music. She also has a very strong faith and likes to sing church hymns, you might like to try Nearer my God to thee, or the Italian Gesu Bambino. They are all good. Amira is not afraid of different tongues - she has sung in over a dozen different languages, quite well too, according to native speakers. Nice reaction BTW.
I was astonished by the technique of singing Disney's famous songs with Amira-style arrangements and beautiful singing voices with Disney voices. The sincere, pure, kind and wonderful Amira who is active in charity work for us is perfect for the word that she is a wonderful genius diva who was born to sing correctly with great talent at a young age ♪♪♪♪!! 😊🙌
As explained in another comment below it was Amira's contribution to an online show to honor veterans during covid lockdowns. It is not the first time she has sung for the veterans. She sang live in the Netherlands when she was younger in a concert for a group of WW ll veterans who had fought there during the liberation and were revisiting the country for the anniversary.
The voice trainer teacher who was listening on RU-vid to arrange Disney's "When You Wish Upon A Star" like a ballad song at a slow tempo and sing with a beautiful singing voice is a wonderful talent!? rice field. I was happy ♪♪♪♪
LOL! No worries about pronouncing or not pronouncing her last name! 😄It's not an insult either way. I'm a former English teacher and believe people should do the best they can to use good pronunciation. However, there is no insult nor shame in falling short! If someone can't pronounce (or sing!) "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," would it insult Mary Poppins? Of course not! LOL! So, you do "you" as a reactor the best you can and, hopefully we, your viewers, will act accordingly. Great reaction! Be blessed, sir!
