To get the best rewards EA have basically said you need to be either: 1. Unemployed. 2. Be a content creator. 3. Be a child so you don't have to worry about the time you have.

If they patch speed boost they will need to fix pace in general it’s getting ridiculous how you can’t outrun defenders even with 90+ pace compared to 70 pace John stones

i play every mode in this game, pro clubs the most, then career mode, then ultimate team. and oh boy its a sliding scale of enjoyment. Pro clubs is like peak fun, most fun I have gaming, career mode is cool, and i like it a lot. Ultimate team is an unbridled cancer that i can't handle but am slightly addicted to.

The following kills the enjoyment 1) kick off glitch 2) 5 back defensive AI 3) pressure tactics during inconsistent gameplay 4) "realistic passing" 5) inconsistent shooting 6) speed boost

Remember when left stick dribbling was a thing? Remember when you didn’t have 4 different button combinations that all do a different type of dribbling? Remember when your players dribbling stat, WAS HOW GOOD THEIR DRIBBLING WAS? That’s my biggest problem with recent FIFA’s. We all used to love jumping on fifa, versing a mate and breaking their ankles. You can’t do this in any of the new ones. It’s slow, boring, build up, build up, build up, pass back to my CB, pass to my GK, pass to my CB. ITS A FUCKING NIGHTMARE.

Everyone needs to stop acting like they can’t fix the gameplay… they can. All they need to do is remove DDA. DDA causes 99% of the problems, anyone who is half decent at the game can feel their team affected by it so I know these top creators can feel it. These creators need to speak up about it more this would actually be a good game without it. Losing 2, 3, and 4 goal leads in the second half to a terrible opponent because the game is nerfing my team into the ground is unacceptable.

I wanted to play One Nation friendlies for the packs, to me didn’t look like friendlies, i met just rats and the sweatest people ever, just like fut champs.

You’re right Nick, in fifa 22 and before I was able to COMPLETELY avoid using ANY cheese or ratty mechanics and just play pure football. I’d win most my games, reached Top 200, Elite/Rank1 Fut Champs. In FC24 and FC25, you genuinely can’t compete unless you L1 speed boost or use other attacking mechanics that are broken. I hope if they nerf L1 speed boost, they make the pace stat actually matter. It needs to be effective.

last year was kinda it for me on ultimate team, i spent most of last game playing clubs and career mode from novemeber to the release of fc25, i tried to get back into ut because i loved it in 20,21,22 and was an elite division player back then. i've played atleast 20 games of rivals and am nearly division 4 and haven't lost a game but i get zero enjoyment out of the wins because there is no way to score other than green timed headers. i am a very consisitant at green timing shots well i was in fc24 now i struggle to even green time a couple times a game other than corners. i play on playstation with wired connection and i never get good gameplay i even packed son from my rivals rewards but i can't get any enjoyment out of the card because the gameplay is just so unenjoyable. the game over the last year has gone in a more realistic direction but its done nothing but make the gameplay slower/way more unresponsive and delayed.i can't even go into a game anymore being confident i'm gonna be better than someone because im worried the gameplay could be so slow you never know what you're going to get. the game 3 years ago was not realistic one bit with how many skills u could do but now i look back at that and think those games actually took skill. these new games take zero skill other than braking mechanics because u can't win any other way and its not fun or enjoyable playing one bit the first day i got the game i was trying to refund it on my ps but thats not possible and now im stuck with a game that i only play clubs or rush which is my other point. other than rush even clubs and career mode gameplay is becoming unenjoyable and is making no one want to play it. games in a really bad state at the moment but we have to come to terms that it'll never be fixed and we are just getting older. i want to enjoy all of fc because im a huge football fan and watch games all the time but this game is not and will never be a football game when its not balanced.

Funny how people think the new features in EAFC is something new. Rush is a copy and paste of Madden squads, the season pass was brought to Madden a few years ago, the play styles are a copy and paste of Madden player abilities, the constant packs and promos is something they have been doing in Madden for years. EA have even messed up with the Evo cap. For e.g. I cannot evolve my Noni Madueke or Pedro Neto in the Cannon evo because of their speeds both being above the cap of 89. The cap would have allowed this, but they've now gotten rid of the cap and gone back to the old evo system meaning i niss out cos of 1 or 2 stats

The reward system is better only if you're a sweat that lives in this game. The changes to Rivals, Champs and especially Squad Battles has made this game completely pointless for casual players. If you can't get top division rewards, it's buy packs or get fuck all for fodder, let alone good cards.

Speed boost glitch should be regular sprint boost. Game would be elite

I feel like for this fifa you have to be so good to get into average ranking not making it a bad game just harder for the average player fighting for div 3/4 or rank 3 in champs

17:15 Players not making certain runs have been in the game for quite a while, it's not because of Player Role. It is there because the "community" complained how FIFA was a pressing X button simulator, that passing was too arcadey. Hence EA made those runs unavailable. And since EA think skill gap for e-sport means there should be an extra button press for every situation/context, EA wants you to utilize Creative Runs or press L1 for those obvious runs. As much as EA likes to deny that there's no scripting in the game, that is an obvious script that stops player runs when certain criterias/parameters met in the game. Like being level with the ball carrier on the Y-axis of the field in the game or something like that.

Just imagine if they worked with the community. They could take a year of building a game with the us.. Every patch could be content from passing to skills or shot types etc.. Where the community has input on how to change it and fine tune it to perfection at the end of the year you'd have a fully functioning game built from the base up

Bruh it's actually insane how defensive the game on next gen is. Played 10 rivals games, scored 12 goals and conceded 8 with attacking tactics. Oldgen version offers sooooo much more space and less AI defending it's crazy most games have 3-4 goals in them. I feel for people that play that handball, 30 passes each attack, speedboosting version I never had less fun playing.

Aside from the players' pace, it's actually a good FIFA. If you remember, last year the "lengthy" meta dominated, and the dribbling was terrible.

1st week of champs made me more frustrated than I ever was last year. Rewards are still good but damn the game sucks this year when gameplay isn’t consistent. Just frustrating.

Seems like an easy perfect fix for the amount of rivals games is just to give rewards based on points scaling down…..keep the rewards thee same for 45 pts but give different for 40, 38, 35etc so you can choose what you want and have time for

I might just stick to playing rivals for now. I'm nearly finished school and I have to work hard for my final exams so I won't have time to simultaneously do champs and rivals. I'm studying 6-8 hours a day and playing fc 1-2 hours a night. I played the first weekend league because there was a lot of hype but now I'm only on 5 rivals wins which is not bad but I won't have time to get another 10.

I do think everyone will have different experience but the amount of rebound goals(from tackles and goalies) I concede is painful.

I think the key is you actually not take the game seriously and try to have fun.I played division rivals yesterday with the mindset that you know what I a m just going to have fun and tried crazy things on the pitch .. n genuinely found it fun. Yes i could see the dda and scripting working against me ,yet i brushed the rage aside and laughed it off ,mentally tat helps u in a crazy way....i hope anyone reading understood wat i said.English isnt my first language .....Its like every game i play to have fun ,tats d only way u can play the game coz if u take it seriously ,ur gona end up completely depressed

I’ll be honest, when this game plays well it’s incredible. I feel like I know exactly what is and should be happening. The issue is there are many games where I feel my team is nerfing itself due to my opponent’s squad.

All the stuff I saw bout FC 25 strongens my decision to skip it and take a 1-2 years break again. I think, the game experience is better and fresher, when you just pause 1-2 years between each new FIFA/EA FC game. The only thing I'm interested are the Rush mode and the CM, but I know, EA don't improve the CM much. Would be so nice, if they just would sold them seperatly, like GTA V Story Mode and GTA V Online - just give us EA FC 25 complete, EA FC CM Edition and EA FC UT Edition...

I legit want to refund this game, it was a huge mistake from my end. According to Sony PlayStation, you can’t refund a game once you download it. How tf am I supposed to know if I want to keep the game unless I download it and play it? $100 down the fucking drain 😭💀.

Unlike previous fifas o last FC. I think FC25 can be a good game. At this very moment it’s just horrible. A lot of things have to be patched but by far out of all the EA FIFA, FC. This one is more promising. It has the most potential to be successful. There’s many horrible things about it as I mentioned before but it is also very very early into the cycle to correct those things and make this year’s entry one of the bests. It’s been only 2 weeks since release day. And if EA goes ahead and listens to people the game has tremendous potential to be one of the best football games.

It’s not worth it guys. If you want to get it then I recommend waiting until it’s on offer. Bcs there is nothing going on right now🙏🔥💯😭💀

yes nick. patch travels and speedboosts. we have jobs and are not as good as you in the game. defending is not that strong compared to 23 and 24. and scoring in general is much easier in the year. id rather have this then cut back meta

Here is the primary problem: the game isn’t fun. EA has forgotten the primary priority of a game: it has to be fun. They have intentionally designed a product that is slow and clunky for the first few months of play. Then, they sell us cards that are “better” and, voila, the game gets more enjoyable. Think about what a scam that is. Every year, these first few months are interminable. The dribbling sucks. The play is slow and ponderous. Half the time the ball is just randomly ping pong’ing around and the players feel like they’re in mud. This isn’t fun for anyone. I have yet to hear one person say this game is fun. At the very best, you might tough out some wins and feel like you got away with one. But I doubt any of you playing have felt like you were having fun. That we then have to go sweat rivals or spend money to buy packs shows how far from fun any of this is. I’m going to stop playing until TOTY at the earliest. That’s usually when the game becomes moderately playable. It still isn’t fun. But at least it doesn’t make me want to break my controller every few minutes when my gold Bellingham has the ball clank off his feet from a basic pass.

This game is basically 5 at the back, pass around penalty area until AI makes mistake and space opens up, speed boost simulator. I don't give a fuck if it's "realistic" or not, this game is not fun at all.

Player career is really fun, and I enjoyed grinding for xp in pro clubs rush and in the league structure. Can say I’m not looking forward to the paid season pass… they’re gonna absolutely nerf the shit out of the free version They’ve gone back to the old evolutions requirements from last year which I find disgusting… how can this company mess up so much? Have they got kids doing the evos? It’s so infuriating because I already have players with high stats that now won’t be able to go into evos.

Is it dumb to suggest a champ style rewards to rivals? Like tiered rewards rather than a flat point total? Like every 15 points the rewards get better? Knock current 45 point rewards down to 30, make the 45 better, 60 better and so on. That way 30 is worth it for a lot of people and those who want to be psychos can continue to play the game and get rewarded.

in my case I played since the PS gifted fifa 22 with the subscription, i played all the rest games until this 25, and this is the worst for me, even worst than fifa 24 with all the "errors" at least with the last game i enjoyed the gameplay in this FC25 is so hard to defend and attack because of the tactics and roles if i dont put the roles the players dont do anything and if you put the wrong one they do something your dont want em to do, also the GK are so bad most of the games are 3-3 and end with 7-7 or at the best 3-7, and i can garateed the SBC and the modes are so demanding you have to play a lot to get rewards even at squad battle is hard to get elite 1, i wont put any money to the game and will be the last one cuze i dont see any changes, the only fun thing is rush but is not a game mode that hook you to play a lot

I don’t get the complaints about needing 15 wins in Rivals. We used to complain that 7 wins were too easy, and we'd finish in a day. Now, with better rewards, it makes sense that more effort is required. The community seems to want everything easy. I usually agree with Dagnal, but his take on Rivals missed the mark. He praises the change in Squad Battles but blames Rivals for harming casual FIFA. Squad Battles was for casuals, where you traded time for rewards, but now you need to win on Legendary for Elite 1. I think EA got it right this year, and the new Rivals rewards are much better, even at 5 wins
