The only reason they enhance some of her songs is because the sound equipment is letting the band overpower her voice. It just lets you hear her voice better. You know she’s only about 11 here, don’t you?

Angelina's Christmas Concert that aired on the 23rd and is still available, with the quality and history of musicians that were involved, it shows how much Republic Records believes in, and are willing to invest in’ our Angelina Jordan’s unbelievable talent. She is one of the greatest talents the world has experienced, and we got to watch it happen. I have watched the concert 16 times, so far. AJ performs "You Say" at the end and she will bring you to tears.

Boris is mostly the go to guy when it comes to Angelina's concert videos. He attended most of her concerts in Norway and recorded some of her best performances there for the fans to appreciate. He's a dedicated fan. And we're all thankful of him.☺️

Someday I hope the powers that be will give her a James Bond song. Can't think of anyone other than her who deserves it.

I love this song too! 11 YEARS OLD and does this song justice. You are correct that Angelina has a way of performing a song to get that wow usually near the end of the song and it works every time. Total command of the stage and yes she knows she is that good and yet so humble. This band is awesome and have performed with her many times. This concert "Proysenfestivalen 21.07.2017 has at least two other songs that she does brilliantly. "Cry Me A River" and "Lovin' You"( a take on Etta James' "I Just Want To Make Love To You"). Angelina performed her own original "Bond Song" at 12 years old. "Shield" the live performance on a TV show in Norway version is the best version. Angelina is a Bond fan. If I'm not mistaken, Angelina's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", seems to be a cover of a cover done by Sara Bareilles.in 2013. Of course, Angelina's 2020 cover took that song to places few could imagine. How fun is she to watch. i want to tell you something unusual about Angelina's music. One would normally think that as a young artist matures in voice and knowledge you would think that by going back to their early recordings it would make those early recordings less appealing. Not so (at least for me) and I'm not saying that her age has any bearing on how much I like the song. They are just damn good songs that , they themselves, will withstand the test of time (certainly for her fans). Excellent show today.

The "enhanced audio" versions of her performances are really the best ones to watch. They are not doing tricks to make her sing on key, she has perfect pitch, nothing like that. They are simply done to clean up background noise and distortion resulting from poor quality recording. Nonetheless, the beauty of her voice shines through anyway.

She knows when she "gets it right" and that brings her pleasure/joy .. not an ego thing but self satisfaction? As in most of her covers, she picks up a lot of character from the original so there is great variation in voice and style across her repertoire. The enhanced version just tries to correct the shortcomings of the this recording from the audience to better reflect what she really sang, not to add effects and make it more glorious or whatever. She has sung Valerie and back to black. Goodbye yellow brick road was done for AGT Champions. All these are spectacular.

Always enjoy your reactions Omar. Angelina, I remember early on almost 2 years ago after hearing a few covers I started rooting for her when she was about to perform one I really liked. Of course she handled it quite well and sometimes making them her own. It was only after she became my favorite singer that I started being more like a proud grandpa. Being retired, within a 2 week period I listened to everything I could find. Thumbs up RPG, oh that reminds me I need some coffee like right now.

Very nice reaction and comments Omar. As mentioned below, Angelina is a fan of Amy and besides the Amy songs mentioned she also does a great version of Rehab also. Back to Black and Rehab lyrics were rewritten by Angelina do to the content of the lyrics not being appropriate for a 10-12 year old girl. Her "goodbye yellow brick road" on AGT is a masterpiece. You still have a long way to go in viewing the so many great covers and originals from this young music genius. You will find that a lot of these videos were shot on cell phones so audio quality is not so great. Some Angelina fans with the skills have "enhanced" the audio in the poorer quality ones to simply balance out the usually very over bearing orchestra or brass band sounds as mentioned below. There is no enhancements of her vocals, not what it means. Carry on Omar.

She did "Valerie" at 13 and she did "Back to Black" at age 10 where she had to rewrite the lyrics the night before her studio recording, after her mom read the original lyrics, she said angelina was not singing that unless it was written age appropriate for a 10 year old, she was still changing things in the car on the way to the studio and did it all with out changing a note of the music because the band had already learned the music that was sent to them

Great, thanks! The main reason some of the live videos have poor audio quality due to being filmed on a smart phone. The band is often too loud and overwhelms our ability to hear her voice. 'Audio enhanced' usually just tries to bring balance to it. A "horn" section is another word for 'brass' instruments: trumpet, trombone, saxaphone included here. Coffee always makes me sneeze...

You like the concert style songs you will want to see her sing at Allen Walkers back home concert ,, she was invited by Allen to sing 2 songs to open his concert, however she had gotten sick that week and yet still insisted to go on even with a sore throat and a 102 fever... most had no clue she was even sick. She sang "Sing me to sleep" and "Faded" .... also in 2022 she did a concert in Norway where she sang "Love on the Brain" there is another recording of it but the live one in 2022 is great

Regarding the "She knows she's good - without the swagger" comment: What Angelina has is unassuming CONFIDENCE. At this time, she has learned not to worry about anything when she is performing. In her own words: "When the music starts I enter a world of my own - and it is beautiful". Her talent simply takes over, she BECOMES the music, whatever the genre might be. Before the music starts, she is just a bashful little girl (6, 9 10, 14, whatever) that gives a little wave "Hi". The the music starts and takes over. When the music is finished, she quietly becomes a bashful little girl again, usually with a little wave "bye" or a little curtsy if the setting is formal (a big stage with a big band).

After the James Bond opening scene--- I can picture Angelina on stage wearing a black evening gown, standing in front of a full Orchestra in a smoke filled ballroom! James Bond stands up--- turns around-- looking into the camera--full face close-up revealing the new James Bond wearing a white dinner jacket --Lighting a cigarette --- than the camera fades back away from him with Angelina in the back ground singing and looking beautiful ---as Bond take a last drink on his martini and walks out slowly pausing for a brief moment-- turning around to taking a last look at Angelina singing, acknowledging her as she looks over at him with a smile.

It's always a debate which version is best. Most of Angelina's music videos are homemade or non-professional fan recordings. Then some other people would try to do some own mixing and enhancements, for the better or worse. As a consequence, those videos, even popular ones, are scattered all over the place on youtube, unfortunately not on Angelina's own official channel, which is quite a pity, but it can't be helped. By the way her cover of Amy's song "Rehab" is not bad. I recommend to give it a listen. Shit and that she had a Las Vegas concert and she found this but she’s 16 and 17 and I’m Ellen Las Vegas. She had a show with two hours long.
