Oh, that couple was in the original video for "To Be Loved", I didn't completely grasp the story but it's more fluid there. Also, OG version of this song was only an instrumental so the whole "feat. AURORA" thing was her vocals. Just to clarify for someone who might be as confused as I was sometime ago, haha

Love your Aurora reactions 💜. This video ("TO BE LOVED") is very artistic (also there are some short pictures which I dont fully understand) and of course great Aurora singing + Askjell music are very good here (although this song is not in my group of top favorites of hers but it is still great). Also love how she has also so good never unreleased songs (and probably there are more which was not singed or leaked). She could probably make a very good album from unreleased songs. SILHOUETTES is one of these I really like (a little disturbing subject "depersonalization" or metaphoric meaning) but I also love for example: "We ARE GOING TO DO THAT" (Eurosonic feast), "Animal Soul", "My Heart Is a Storm" (Remastered version), The Architect.

To experience her actual concert, I'd suggest Glastonbury 2019 (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3DihvVQtIZ0.html). It might not be as pitch-perfect performance as Nidarosdomen, but she is full of energy with female back dancers and her band is also great as always! Apparently, it was broadcasted by BBC, but the video stays here on RU-vid for nearly two years, so I guess it would be ok. Another suggestion is the virtual mini-concert with Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra from September 2020 (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5I8Y0i_tOWk.html). It's with six songs for about half an hour and is really beautiful. I'm sure you can see her singing evolved. The highlight is the only live performance so far of Soulless Creatures.

The problem with longer, non-phone filmed concerts and performances is copyright. Even Nidarosdomen and HAIK aren’t technically supposed to be here (the NRK guys are very lenient). So Aurora Goes Symphonic, Vierlive, Mola Chill, Special Streaming Show Japan, etc. are a little risky. :) Several folks have pointed out that Aurora used to be a bit more nasal in the “past” (the Nidarosdomen concert included), interesting that you picked up on it. :) The unreleased tracks are all quite interesting, and many more popped up recently. Her new performance at P3 (the radio station where she performed God is a Woman, Believer, Animal Soul, etc.) is terrific and fun - the Rasputin cover.

Oh also, I don’t think you have ever reacted to Hua Chenyu on your channel.. after writing Silhouettes and recording this demo when Aurora decided not to release it as her own song, she sold it to another artist, Hua Chenyu. He had Chinese lyrics written for it and released the song as “Escape from Utopia.” I’m not sure if you would love his version of the song, but I thjnk it’s worth checking out, and maybe reacting to some of his live stuff, particularly from the Chinese show the Singer, which has professional singers compete. It has such a high production value and Hua Chenyu has some of the most wild, genre-mixing, and emotional performances on there. Notably: Nunchucks, Fake Monk, I am What I am and more I am forgetting right now :P There’s an English sub version of Escape from Utopia on RU-vid if u wanna see that!
I would especially recommend for next reactions (if not missed you did not reacted) unreleased: Animal Soul (P3 live) and We Are Going To do That (Eurosonic Fest). This 2 are great for me and it is not leakes but made live even if not released :).
I know this is an older video, but here you talk about wanting to do another longer Aurora video, which I'm not if you ever did. One that wasn't shot on a mobile or anything. So, I have a suggestion, another concert that is on HAIK and NIdarosdomen level for me at least. Its a streaming show she did for her Japanese fans. There's no audience, just her and her band on a stage of some sort, but it's an incredible concert that some may have missed. It's called "Special streaming show Japan". 100% recommended. 1000% magical beauty.
haha.....normally I would be a wee bit annoyed by THAT MUCH pausing, as you did in the To Be Loved music video. But.................I get it. It's a very powerful song and video. And you paused it damn near every 5 seconds lol. I don't even care about my experience....I just hope YOU got the full impact of it without a lot of interruption. Hopefully after this reaction you went back and watched/listened to the whole thing without any pausing....just for yourself. :) It really is a gorgeous song and video. And I very much agree with you.....about it being vulnerable, but in a more mature way. THAT is what I've found so fascinating about Aurora's journey as an artist. She's becoming more and more adult and real and honest with each passing year. The latest single "The Woman I Am" is a perfect example of this. And it's the latest thing she's released. Same goes for the STUNNING leaked song from The Gods We Can Touch....the song "Wake Up." Her earlier stuff was incredible....but clearly from the mind of a very young person. The stuff she's making now.....is from the perspective of a young woman who is very wise. Still young...but wise.
Please don't feel pressured to do so but there's another song AURORA sang (I'm not sure if it's their own or a cover) called "Why Did You Have To Go" and I heard it two nights ago. It caused me to shed many a tear, it's quite a beautiful song so.. I highly recommend, if you get the time!
Aurora wrote that song for her friend who passed away in a car accident. She sang it on her funeral. Fern, you could pair it with "Sofia" from Askjell with Aurora and iris.
I’m soooo late but just so you know, the cut scenes of the couple on To Be Loved are actually part of an Askjell song called “Autumn, Autumn” and I’d love if you could react to it, it’s in my opinion his best song ever, the scenery is amazing
Hey btw Askjell is pronounced “Ashel” and you should definitely listen to “when I’m Gone” and “Feeling” they’re amazing!! ( I think there’s live versions for both… :))
Askjel is brilliant (Aurora pronounces it Ashell) 'To be loved' is magic you have to listen to his " I have seen the Apocalypse and I want to go home" with Emily Nicholas singing is the best version. But there's also a live version with Iris .... and Highasakites Ingrid Helene Havic does a real nice cover of it. Askjels album "Everything will be OK" is brilliant... For more Askjel with Aurora (and Iris) there is a a video called "Sofia, but you'll need a big box of tissues! Be warned! ;)

I am not sure if you ever realised that "To be loved" is NOT Auroras song? She is only performing it. You said "feat Askjell" at the end and it made me wonder, since it's the other way around.
