Originally by Eric Clapton. On 20 March 1991, Eric Clapton's 4-year-old son Conor died after falling from the 53rd-floor window of a New York City apartment. Clapton made numerous public service announcements to raise awareness for childproofing windows and staircases.
This song by Eric Clapton is all about an unimaginable tragedy that happened in his life. But if you noticed, Austin's rendition clearly demonstrates the pain that Eric and his family probably still deal with to this day and beyond. I think that this cover was very respectful to the story behind it. Austin Brown is a gift from the Almighty.
Austin is the best! This song is a tearjerker! Love your reactions. You need to react to Listen to The Music. It is their newest release. It will make you happy!
I hope that you watch the whole video. This is an Eric Clapton song that he wrote after losing his son at 4 year's old. Austin's front yard is so beautiful. You can really hear how true emotions really sounds. He did a phenomenal job with this one. Truly enjoyed watching your reactions to this song. Thank you
You MUST watch Homefree's newest song, Listen to the Music!! It's amazing and you'll love it! Austin's new one, Georgia on My Mind is a must see too❤️❤️
Austin did a beautiful job and message sent to people that have connected with this type of loss. I’m sure we all have at different times and places. I love watching you girls together. Thank You so much. I cry every time I hear this song. Omg !!! 🎼❤️🎵🦋🎶🙏
Friday night was amazing at Tim's birthday bash. I literally cried 😭 when Austin did "Unchained Melody". Amberly was sitting behind me in a chair between the tables filming on her camera. I lightly tapped her on arm to say hi and she got up and gave me a hug. After show we said goodbye and she gave me another hug. I need to order a zoom call with Austin and Amberly this fall. So much to talk about. Tim seemed super nice of course, I just felt more of an unspoken connection with Austin. Seeing a video is a much different energy than being in same venue. Take tissues.
I love your reaction, this really is an emotional song and he did an amazing job of covering it, I wonder how he connected with this one in order to channel so much emotion.
This song makes me a basket case every time I hear it and the fact that Austin slows it down and takes us to church with his singing is almost Soul piercing. Especially once you know the history of the song and how Eric Clapton wrote it after losing his young son.
Thank you ladies. Please react to Austin’s original: Home Free: Warmest Winter. Have Tissues ready. And Jeffery East featuring Home Free: People is a beautiful must listen.
It seems like Austin was emotional during this song and was feeding off those emotions… and sending those emotions to us to share. And you both … definitely were not prepared for this song 😂🤣 loved your reactions 😄😃
Just wanted to add a thank you for the shout out . Today was my Birthday and you Lady's just made it so much better . Thank you , love and laugh so hard . Its the best medicine. 👌
Great reaction, Kaz! I felt so emotional listening to Austin, his voice is so powerful. Also, it was my birthday a few days ago, I was wondering if you could listen to Tomi P's newest song? It's SO good, you and Sarah will fall over!!
This is such a beautifully sad song that Eric Clapton wrote after his little boy fell out a window and died. No family should have to face losing their child!
I feel as if he not only knows the back story but understands it in a way that goes deep into his soul. It's the only way I can explain how he can sing it so well. FIRE!!!
Kazz and Sarah! You are both a breath of fresh air. You both remind of my daughter and her best friend. Austin's voice is that of an angel. Would you please react to By your side by 15th Bend ( feat. The Lily Pillies)
I think anyone who has lost someone dear to them can relate to Eric Clapton's song about the tragedy that befell his family. Austin's version is just beautiful. If you haven't seen the live videos of Austin's original song "Love Me Like That" it's heart-breaking. Have tissues ready for both of these - you'll need them. Thank you for playing this one and your reactions to it.
The day my best friend died in a car accident, another friend took me out to celebrate her life. The bar we went to had karaoke. That was the 1st time I sang Tears in Heaven. I bawled through the whole song but somehow kept the sobbing at bay until I finished. From that time forward this song is linked to Tracy. Then when i heard the tragic story of why this song came to be, it became even more special! I'm glad you finally got to hear this one, and as always, great reaction! ❤
I really like when Austin uses the softer parts of his voice. He uses such restraint in this, and then he punches us with his vocals at the right moment! He seems to use the "less is more" mantra on his channel compared to his role in Home Free. I like both approaches, but I like the stuff he does on his channel better. That's not to say I don't enjoy Home Free. Overall, I would take Home Free (as a whole) over any of their constituent members' solo stuff. Home Free is the definition of the sum being greater than its parts
Thank you Kaz for reacting to Austin's beautiful rendition of this song. I sang it at the funeral of my little girl 22 years ago. This time I cried tears of pleasure not pain thank you
I like it when you go back to some older stuff, "Cover Me Up" is good 1 to see, and I'm surprised you haven't listened to Amazed yet, unless i missed it then sorry! great reaction as always
Somebody must be cutting up onions somewhere…I’ve never heard of this guy before. Chills throughout the entire thing. Side note: I don’t usually go out of my way to listen to this song because it was playing over the hospital speakers after my grandfather’s heart surgery. Scarred me for life
You must go on his channel, so many beautiful songs, if you like Bring Him Home you'll be blown away. Have you not heard Home Free, Austin is part of them and they are brilliant, I promise you'll like them
@@dotwyness4110 ohhh ok. I discovered Home Free recently after traveling down the Voice Play rabbit hole and thought he looked familiar but couldn’t place him!
Still one of the most emotional pieces of modern music I've heard in my life, from Mr. Clapton. This is such a true and wonderful cover for true. I don't know what Mr. Brown drew from but you told the story my friend. Beyond that your theater is showing sir, Inc are you didn't know...but only in the best and most appropriate ways 🙏 brava brother
I have a feeling that your guy's next reaction will be to Home Free's new cover "listen to the music". I just... know. ....... I know it. My love for you two compels you to react to that song. That's how it works.
Hey lovely ladies! I can't see that you've covered Austin's "Neon Moon." *Looks around furtively in case anyone else hears* I think he does it better than Ronnie Dunn. With Chris Chatham and Sebi Douyon. When you do it, listen out for the word "blue ("The whole world turns ... blue") - I guarantee a volcanic reaction from both of you.
I have a MAJOR request. Please, please react to End of the Road by Boys to Men if you haven’t already and I haven’t seen it yet. If y’all haven’t reacted to this yet, y’all will seriously get the chills and all the feels. I swear.
right about 4:01 I was starting to worry about you both. Austin broke Sarah legitimately like full stop brain not functioning temporarily broken, Poor Sarah you okay friend?
