Can you please react to Heartbreaker by Michael Jackson from his Invincible album? It was one of the first dubstep tracks ever made. Still sounds so fresh and modern like it came out this year. Way ahead of its time.
the original release from 1987 had more trumpets and they removed them for the 1988 versions of the album and adjusted the mix. apparently cus it didnt sound pop enough with all the trumpets so they took some of them out
the mixing is always amazing on mj tracks except for the invincible album, his last album. it fell victim to the loudness war of the 2000s or whatever its called and the engineer or whoever decided to compress the hell out of these songs which took a lot of the dynmaics out of the songs.majoritx of the songs still sound fine tho its only a few
