I think you're confusing the family tree...in the last one the woman who chose Baahubali senior as the king was the queen mother(different actress) she was incidentally the mom of the villain as well..but being the righteous woman she was, she saw who was more able and hence chose Baahubali, her adopted son(actually her brother in law's son) as the king...this old woman is the wife of Baahubali senior and the mother of Baahubali junior and the daughter in law of the queen mother and the sister in law of the villain who harboured a secret twisted lust for her. I would not say more..you really need to watch the movies as you're missing out a lot of things. And the movies are 2 years apart...2015 and 2017
bollywood is crap. Most of today’s mainstream Bollywood movies are all garbage, full of ridiculousness, and are too embarrassing for kids. 1) These days, only few actors know how to act, only few directors make sensible movies, and the rest are just terrible. 2) 21st century, and Bollywood still doesn’t know how physics works. 3) Barfi! was sent for ‘India’s official entry for Oscar’ by film experts (FFI) because they were not aware that the movie was shamelessly copied from 20 other movies. 4) A good item song with a hot chick, and a few white girls at the background have become mandatory for a Bollywood movie to hit the box office. 5) A romantic scene between a 50-year-old and a 20-year-old is just disturbing. (Unless the plot demands it).Watching Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan romance in Dabangg gave me cancer!

The first movie talk about how Mahendra bahubali father amrendra Bahubali got killed by his evil uncle. in second one he rescue his mom from his evil uncle and take a revenge of his father death and his mom prisoning for 25 Years. Both father and son has same face structure like duplicates
The 1st part that you guys saw, it was the Actual Bahubali. And in the 2nd part you saw, it was his son. The Real Bahubali was assassinated by his half brother. And 2nd part was his son's revenge
In previous movie it was Amarendra Bahubali (Father) ( husband of Devsena, lady with fire in this fight scene )( son of the lady in last month movie) In this movie it is Mahendra Bahubali ( son of Amarendra and Devsena )

The old woman you see is Amarendra bahubali' mother whom bhallaldev the vilion imprisoned for 25 years.In first part you can see Sivgamini saving new born baby that's him.The beard guy who fought in thus scene with bahubali is his uncle(his fathers brother).I really recommend you to watch both movies with subtitles.you will enjoy it. There are two Baahubali's. The first movie is Amarendra Baahubali and this one is Mahendra Baahubali, Amarendra's son. Bhallaladeva, the bad guy, is Amarendra's brother and consequently, Mahendra's uncle. Bhallaladeva killed Amarendra and imprisoned Amarendra's wife (Mahendra's mom) for 25 years. This Baahubali is the son coming to save his mom by killing his uncle and taking revenge for his father's murder. The queen mother in the first movie is Bhallaladeva's mother and Amarendra's adopted mother. This one is 25 years since the first movie. Mahendra (the son) is alive because the queen mother sacrificed her life to save him from his evil uncle Bhallaladeva when he was a baby. At the end of this fight scene, when Mahendra is coming down from the sky with the sword to pin his evil uncle to the pyre, you can see the dad, Amarendra's face, in the clouds looking down. Justice is finally being served after 25 long years.

I think you r confusing the people the guys name is mahendra bahubali the son of bahubali that died 25 years ago by his guard because the brother of bahubali named ballavella convinced the queen mother that he was going to be murdered by his brother so saving the baby of bahu and his wife the queen mother was killed by balla so the son of bahu reclame the throne and saved his mother burning his uncle in the pit.

You both need to watch both movies fully, you're confusing the family tree big time. And half of the first movie was in the present and the second half was 25 years ago, then the second is still there but changes back to the present in the second half.
