They don't stick to any one genre and often mix genres in songs. They are extremely diverse and have an extensive back catalogue featuring Punk, Pop-Punk, Hard-Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Rap etc. From face melting 220 bpm punk-prog to ballads, instrumentals to acoustics they do it all. They can make you headbang, they can make you pogo, they can make you cry like a baby. They are also five of the nicest people in music, without a shred of ego. They are funny and fun and world class musicians to boot. They are currently into their 11th year with the original line up. Btw, Miku the rhythm guitarist (red rose) formed the band. She had the idea of Band-Maid after working as a maid in Japanese maid cafe's. Her idea is a concept called "The Gap" - that is what you see (cute maids) is NOT what you get (Hard Rock/Punk/Metal). They take the maid café concept literally. They call their concerts "servings" and their fans "Masters and Princesses". Oh, and Miku is an 810 year old small pigeon. Welcome to the pigeon hole Po! This was their second MV ever from 2015. There is a great live performance of this song from 2018. Talking about live: band maid is a great live band and has many official live videos on yt. These ladies are masters at their instruments: Kanami (composer and lead guitar), Akane (drums) and Misa (bass). Then there is lead vocalist Saiki who is perfect for the Band Maid sound and Miku Kobato (rythm guitar, pure energy, most lyrics, fantastic backing vocals and harmonies). Miku wasn't able to play the guitar when she founded the bandin 2013. I don't know of any other band where the fans' playlists differ so much. So, this is just a quite random selection of songs: For some very special live videos try Freedom, Play and Endless Story. With Moratorium (Live at Zepp), Rinne (MV) and Dice you can hear more hard rock while more catchy songs are Choose me (MV), and Alone (MV). And if you want to hear some ballads then maybe About Us (MV) and Daydreaming (MV) are good picks. But don't miss some of their instrumentals like From now on (MV) and Onset (Live). Great reaction and while this is an older song provided by their label, they are now writing all their own songs (their very first song written by the band is "Alone" release as a MV in 2016). Best way to experience this band is their live performances, they are a live band in every sense of the word. Thanks for taking the time to react to them.

Early Band Maid, and not a live cut, so expect to hear about fifteen better songs from them, should you persist. You can definitely tell that this is even before they started writing their own songs because Misa's hacking on a 4 string and Miku's playing a Rickenbacker. I'd like to recommend Band-Maid's "Blooming" MV and "Puzzle" live! But really, everything on their channel is good, though not every fan loves everything they've done.
I love Band-Maid and "Real Existence" is a great song... but this official music video is among my least favorites from the band's extensive catalog, the live version of "Real Existence" would have been a much better choice. And for an official music video from their early years, "Alone", "The Non Fiction Days", "YOLO", "Dice", "Choose Me" or "Endless Story" would have been great too.😉
I was under the impression that BandMaid does not block any of their content, prefering to use utube reactors to help spread the word. Unless you were trying to wstch thier latedt collaboration with "The Warning."
You know what sucks? Most people jump right to the stereotype that "oh, Japanese, it must be anime". While anime is great and if you are a top band you do get requested to do some anime. But it isn't anime music, it is rock and roll.
Gee, to me they look like............ "Maids", what a kowinkidink! Lol! Stay with this band, these girls are for real. If you try and read lyrics you're going to miss a lot, never take your eyes off the, so much always happens. A lot of reactors read the lyrics before watching and turn the subtitles off. Get the oil can out.
