I haven't created the actual figurines of both kits due to not yet deciding what character I want to create. But I have used some of the tools and products included for other craft projects and OMG! What an amazing set of tools and material both have! They are truly worth every single penny

using cold water with the plaster is actually smart with how some of your friends have been doing the order of operations. cold water will actually slow the setting of the plaster giving you a bit more working time

I feel like the kit has so much value outside of sculpting. I bought it for the tools, and have been using the tools and paints for doll making. I used the plaster to test out silicone molds I made so i could save my resin and had a wonderful chaotic time learning how to use it lol. I even ruined my matt by spilling silicone on it the first day I had it lmao. I might never touch the main mold itself, but I've been using everything else nonstop.

That cotton candy dragon is the most adorable thing everrrr. I hope to be able to buy your next craft kit, Jackie. I want to be part of the fun. You guys look to be having so much fun.

I bought the kit... But I've never done sculpting before and am terrified to start. I don't know what I'm going to make yet but I'm looking forward to trying it out. It's really nice to see the people making it who are not sculptors and the mistakes they make and advice you give.

Absolutely love the admiration in your eyes, Jackie! You can see the tears welling up with how much you appreciate your friends crafting with your kit and giving it their all. Too adorable....I mean....dark! dastardly dark!!! Creature of darkness, right!

I was happy to see Dr. Squish using the plaster as a glue for the leg because when Chloe broke off the leg I was thinking "Can't you use the plaster on the leg as glue" also good job to everyone who used the kit all the sculptures were amazing 😊🤗

After watching this.. I just had to splurge and buy this kit. I have never sculpted before (aside from making a couple tiny little clay charms) and this looks fun! I hope I can pull it off!

lol I also ended up with a dip in my creature's head. I made the mistake of filling my base before waiting to make sure the plaster settled in the mold....and I also broke the leg off. I'll get it right next time! 😅😅😅 Chloe really has come a long way since trying the first kit, and I love the cotton candy hair on Dr. Squish's little dragon!

Wow dr Squish if that's your first time then you have given me so much confidence that I to can do it. I got my not another crap kit a couple of months ago, ive gone through to look at all the goodies in there and wow Jackie you did us proud so 👏👏👏 to you But I haven't even attempted to start anything yet because ive never done it before and I have no idea what to make haha Watching these videos are giving me not only inspiration but alot of great tips too. I recently lost a pet and used the silicone bowl base to create a plaque that I painted to mark where we buried him-I know that’s a little heavy but the process was really healing for me and I was so grateful that I had the kit to be able to make something to remember them by ❤

I have both your craft kits they are all amazing the only thing I would recommend adding is a type of respirator mask when dealing with resin, even it’s a non toxic resin the fumes and still be harmful especially someone does have a well ventilated place to work. Everything else in both kits are amazing and work so well together!

This is so fun! I'd already seen Chloe's creation (so cute!) but wasn't familiar with Doctor Squish prior to this video. She was so creative in her approach to this activity, and used techniques I never would have considered. Amazing! On top of it all, the cotton candy dragon is adorable. You keep saying you're teachable...so here's my English teacher coming out! Silicon is a natural element on the periodic table used in computer chips and whatnot. SiliCONE is the lovely flexible material we use for molds. Love the bonus content too! I'm 46 and my boyfriend bought this kit for me, so I wanted you to know that I may not be your target demographic, but your reach is far and wide!

I'm glad to see this video. I've been craving some ideas. My kit is still in the shipping box right along with a pasta roller.

Now that I see the legs can be broken to make it sitting or laying down it gives me more ideas. I’m still not sure what to make but that leg idea gives me more options.

She's done a great job I remember my first sculpture it was supposed to be a frog but looked like the punching ball mixed with the scream 😆

Hey Jackie! Long time sculptor here with very heavy hands... and yeah, it didn't happen all at once, but I did manage to break all four legs on my first pouring. The initial repairs didn't work very well, mainly, I think, because I was trying to make the repairs from the outside. Thus, what had started as a kirin first became a hippocampus emerging from the water... to one with all four limbs under the surface... when I get back to finishing it. (This is a bad habit of mine.) As I was debating digging out my dremel and bits, I had the random thought that, rather than putting a wire in after the piece had broken as a repair, why not have an armature inside it from the start? So I made a rough, heavy armature with twisted wires, fit it inside the mold, added the rubber bands... and had to change gears and scramble to get ready for a convention. It's been sitting there since... I may need to invest in more rubber bands... At any rate, the convention is over, I have... mostly recovered from it, so it's now time to stop delaying the excavation of my work table, get that cleared up, and test my hypothesis. Oh, and finish the original sculpt as well. While I'd like to make a video of it, I'm not sure I want to delay long enough to have my studio "film ready" - but I will take lots of pictures, post them on Instagram, and tag you on them. Fingers crossed! If it works like I think it should, it will be the saving grace for all of my fellow heavy fingered sculptors!

So I saw Chloe's vidoe, but never saw Dr. Squish's and I have to say, I LOVE HER SCULPTURE!! OMG it's ADORABLE! ♡♡♡ I mean I love Chloe's too, but I told her that when I watched her video.

The kit is really good for beginners and it's a wonderful value for money when starting to craft 👌🏻 I've been testing the kit, progress is slow because of health issues but it's starting to look like something..... finally 😅
