This song is so not my taste in music. When I first listened to it I was like: what is this, am I back in the club in Spain in 2000, when I was 15? But I gotta admit, it’s stuck in my head in a loop. I can say the lyrics off the top of my head and I don’t even like the sound of the song, so there you go 😂 I like Billie’s verses best but that’s probably because I’m biased, she’s just so cool. This definitely didn’t make me want to listen to any of Charlie’s other music though, I gotta admit. Just because it seems to be culturally significant because Kamala ran with it so now every uptight traditional institute is also chasing the bandwagon, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good quality music. I wouldn’t even care about the quality if I enjoyed the sound, but I don’t even enjoy that, so why is it stuck in my head?! I guess my internal loop dj has other ideas.
