this looks amazing Clone Wars season 7 is comin soon and I can't wait to see Order 66 like we've never seen before! I hope we get Anakin inside the Jedi Temple. find me on insta and the tweets
Maul knows about order 66 because when him and Savage lost to Palpatine in the Mandalorian Palace, The Chancellor finishes by saying “I’m not going to kill you I have other plans for you.” He probably let him in on the plot so Maul can keep the conflict on Mandalore going.
@Star Wars Theory the left side of mauls new saber is assaj ventress original jedi lightsaber it’s been confirmed because the book about quin lin vos and ventress teaming up takked about the lightsaber you can look it up but that’s her lightsaber which means ventress could be dead and was hunted by maul
@@Fitchy-ke3wz I though it was ok, not a bad movie. But after seeing what Star Wars can be through the Clone Wars I might have unrealistic expectations. Dave Filoni has always said story is key to everything. I just wish the new trilogy was planned properly before they embarked on the journey.
Mace Windu: “I sense a plot to destroy the Jedi” Commander Bly: "Wow man, that sounds really messed up. Wonder who it could be to kill all these Jedi".
My hopes for the season: 1. We see Grievous kidnap Palpatine so the General gets at least one last spotlight to make up for him losing to Gungans. 2. Dual of the Fates plays when Ahsoka fights Maul.
Imagine how incredible it would be if the music transitioned from Duel of the Fates to Anakin's Betrayal while Order 66 breaks out during Ahsoka and Darth Maul's duel.
Paul Mims Doubt we get 1. It would be cool but a bit weird episode/series wise to show that then skip over the rest of the battle and straight to something else cause that parts been done in the movie already. If they ended it at the start of ROTS that would be a great series finale leading us into the movie, but this goes all the way to Order 66.
@@Darkstar821465 2003 Clone Wars had a pretty good portrayal of Grievous capturing Palpatine. The Jedi put up a fight trying to protect him so it wasn't as simple as Palpatine just hopping on Grievous' ship. If we do get to see that part of the battle, I hope we get something along those lines.
Maul definitely knows about order 66. In the Clone Wars he says "So it has started without me." or something like that when Savage tells him about the Clone Wars.
Da Ol I agree, it seems Maul knows something is going to happen but he doesn’t know the exact details. That’s probably why he’s using the force on Jesse to see if he can get any information out of him relating to Sidious’ plan
He is probably tasked to keep Obi-Wan occupied so Palpatine can further isolate Anakin. Coming from the previous trailer where Maul says "I was hoping for Kenobi why are you here?" Letting in him on some of the plan is probably a wise idea, Remember he is following Palp's orders at this point and also at least knows generally his goals, so he can easily deduct the fall of the Jedi is his master's plan and it is coming to it's climax.
@@SonsOfLorgar don't watch the "live action." It doesn't do anything that the cartoon didn't already do, but because a cartoon can get away with having facial expressions on animals (and having the "be prepared" song involve a series of stone columns rising for no apparent reason) and it had better voice actors, the remake fails to live up. This is also why I like the Aladdin remake. Will Smith isn't copying Robbie Williams, he's clearly making the character his own, and the other characters have both notable similarities and differences.
I hope they dont just throw Grevious and Dooku aside, yeah this season will go into ROTS, but give my boys some episodes before their inevitable deaths
@@Keknoud filoni explained the arcs that are going to appear in season 7 at last year's celebration and son of dathomir was not one of them. Also there are no hints at all of son of dathomir in this trailer so unfortunately I don't think we're going to get the episodes D':
I'm so pissed we're not getting son of Dathomir animated :( I'd much prefer it to 'Ahsoka's walkabout'. Oh well, at least it's getting a proper ending.
In Rebels, Ahsoka says "last time I saw [anakin] he was rushing off to save the chancellor." Which I would assume is where ROTS starts with Anakin and Obi saving Sheev and killing Dooku
Well, there's not many places it can be then, because after she tells him, Anakin is pretty much confined to Coruscant the entire time. Pick your poison then, either put it in a thematically important spot in time with the sacrifice of a retcon, or save the canon but have the scene take place so close to the climax of the entire trilogy that there's no real good place to put it.
I think the season will progress with the movie since the movie we pretty much have a small time gap I think given the way padmes pregnancy progressed (I'm pretty sure) threw the movie
Any chance Ahsoka shows up to defend Rex in that particular scene? As in Jedi or whoever assume he is a threat while he is doing everything he can to fight it/remove it or fight it then remove it?
I had a thought...in that scene where ahsoka and Rex are shown most likely getting away from order 66, Rex looks hurt right? But what if he’s not hurt, he’s distraught because he saved ahsoka’s life by killing a bunch of brainwashed clone friends? Similar to the general Krell arc when he tricked the clones to attack each other? The clones took it so hard they had killed one another, similar emotional trauma could occur to Rex if he was forced to do the same. That would be wild!
@@user-xx6vy9ri8p I was referring to the fact that the trailer made it clear that the season was going to cross over with Revenge of the Sith at some point, meaning that we could get a recreation of Order 66, and seeing Plo die in the context of the show, where we've gotten to know him a lot more, and even possibly see Ahsoka's reaction to sensing it happen, would have been heart breaking.
"i feel like maul knows about order 66" he said when he first learned about the clone wars happening that "oh so it has begun, without me" so he definitely knows about the grand plan and all its details
The one thing I always wondered is that if Darth Maul stayed Palpatine's apprentice throughout The Clone Wars, then would Palpatine eventually replace Darth Maul with Anakin? 🤔
Throughout the Legends EU, there's hints that Maul was brought up to know some things about the large-scale Grand Plan, such as the Clone Wars, which were masterminded by Darth Plagueis and the Kaminoan cloners decades before it began, but few of its finer details, many of which Sidious had to improvise on the spot. So Maul probably does know more than anyone in the Jedi Order or Republic and Separatist parties as a whole, but less than Sidious and Tyranus.
@@spook3112 Initially, Darth Bane, when he extinguished Lord Kaan's Brotherhood of Darkness and then began the Rule of Two Sith Order, though the war between the Sith and the Jedi was several thousand years old already, with each trying to eliminate the other every few hundred years or so.
2014 Disney: "Yea we're cancelling the clone wars and acting like the prequels dont exist anymore." 2020 Disney: "Help us clone wars and prequel material, you're our only hope."
I Gusti Praba new Star Wars intro includes nothing from the prequels. Barely any content made from the prequel era. Hmmm your wrong buddy. Disney is definitely ignoring them. Maybe not now though.
Padme is wearing the exact same outfit and hairstyle in this trailer that she wears on Mustafar when she shows up to talk to Anakin before the Obi Wan duel.
SWT: Claims that this is his first time reacting to the trailer. Also SWT: Also has the clip of Mace in Ep. 3 in preparation. Jk, can't wait for this. Have a good day.
NoFacedGoldfish there is a cut in the video, he probably googled and downloaded it but cut those out in the video. Probably, i genuinely believe this guy is not a liar.
@@tailsprowerfan2729 yeup agreed. Honestly it went over alot of people's heads cause I see comments asking if maul knows about order 66 or if sidious told him and I tell them the answer is yes he always knew since he was a small zabrak 🙂
Palps was originally going to use Maul instead of Vader. Then he died so he got Dooku. However, he found out about Anakin and got ambitious. He got Anakin to kill Dooku and instead of using him he used Vader. Then when he senses Vader’s conflict he doesn’t want him to turn on him so he tries to get Luke to kill Vader and serve him. That fails and Vader “kills” him. Through Snoke, Palpatine seduces Kylo to the dark side and begins training him as a new Vader. Then Snoke finds out about Rey and doesn’t want a repeat of what happened last time so he gets Kylo to kill her before she turns him. But Kylo instead kills Snoke, through ambition. This basically flips Palpatine’s plan on its head. Kylo, instead of being a new Vader, is now the new emperor. That’s a problem! Palpatine, instead of pulling more strings, he comes out of hiding. He tries to convince Kylo to do his bidding by taking advantage of his thirst for power (the Sith fleet). However, he soon realises that Kylo has turned to the light. So instead Palpatine tries to seduce Rey. Rey refuses so Palpatine says if she was to not serve him, her friends would die. She agrees but just in time Kylo connects with Rey to get her to come to her senses. Finally, with all the Jedi backing her up, she kills Palpatine and dies. But Kylo decides instead that he won’t go through with his selfish ambitions and instead sacrifices himself so Rey can live.
I hope that the Darth Maul Son of Dathomir comics are adapted back into episodes! I really want to see Sidious, Maul, Dooku, and Grievous on screen together!
I hope we see what Rex does in Order 66 and what he does to survive it since we know he doesn't do the order along with 3 other Commanders. Also, I hope we see the Duel on Mustafar see this show do the Anakin vs Obi-Wan.
Even if they animated it to the point where Grievous was a hundred times better than any earlier appearance in the show, people are still gonna say 2D Grievous did it better.
I think that Rex dyed his helmet orange after he removed the chip, and those other dudes all did the same. And they are now teaming up with Ashoka after order 66 has been executed
Actually in the other trailer you can see the helmets clearer, a squad of troops was assigned specifically to Ahsoka and they painted their helmets with her facial marks
JakePog it wasn’t that bad personally, though the first few episodes were really rough it stabilized at the end of the season. Season 2 and beyond was even better.
APG40 really? I thought it was a concept for Asajj Ventress‘ new lightsaber during the cancelled episodes for Clone Wars starring her and Quinlan Vos. The Dark Disciple novel then adapted this arc.
@@TheRibottoStudios live action can be good, but is harder, personally I noticed too much the CGI in the mandalorian, it just looks weird, the story is ok, I haven't watched everything but some parts clash with the previous lore, in the same way Ahsoka being the padawan of Anakin clashed with the previous lore, or at least with the popular notions, but animation can put thing that are impossible on live action with our current technology, think in ho1w much would have costed the chapters of the father, the daughter and the son in live action and they couldn't have done something close to how good those chapters are.
There is a Book from Ahsoka's Point Of View Which Takes Place 1 Year After Order 66. Ahsoka Does Mention That Rex Helped Her Escape Mandalore After The Order Was Issued
Notice that when Mace Windu said, “I sense a plot to destroy the Jedi.” He was a hologram but in the movie he wasn’t. This is taking place during Revenge of the Sith.
DarthXenon 03 Yeah I think it’s somehow two conversations occurring at the same time and we’ll be seeing the other part of it, or: same convo, but the other location, and Bilaba & Caleb before they maybe leave the meeting
@@Kylometerz7567 It cant be the same time...Yoda is not with Windu in the Temple at that moment, Yoda is already on Kashyyyk. In the Clone Wars hologram its Yoda and Windu around the table , in revenge its Anakin and Windu
I really hope this final season doesn't conflict with the 2003 Clone Wars plot with Grievous kidnapping the chancellor since 2003 Grievous was the best we have ever had.
4:03 I want this to be really dark, mee too dude, you're speaking from my soul 6:17 I think ashoka protects Rex there from the other clones under order 66
Exactlyyyy, i think its right after Order 66 happens, Clones started to attack Ahsoka but Ahsoka sees Rex didnt, so she throw him in that room and closes the door
Honestly, I’m kind of on board with Star Wars Explained’s theory that Ahsoka had to subdue Rex due to Order 66, then had to hide from other Clones and get his chip out.
Itzmejose29 It’s surprising how everyone has to always compare their excitement levels to the Sequels. Just be excited for it. Why compare it to the Sequels.
@@sy2590 you're missing my point. I'm not saying Filoni should direct or write, he should take the Kathleen Kennedy role and OVERSEE the feature films. Therefore keeping them in line with previous cannon and actually KNOWING what you can or cannot do in the SW universe. Kennedy hasn't a clue, so therefore the directors she hires get free reign to fuck things up.
I just want you to know I really appreciate you man, you bring a lot of joy to my life, and I really hope you make it so you can show people your true talent!!! Thank you!!!
Yo, Maul definetly knows about Order 66. Im watching TCW for the first time and am currently towards the beggining of S5 and when Savage finds him towards the end of 4 he mentioned The Clone wars and Maul makes a comment about him (emporer) starting it without him, implying he knew about the entire Order 66 plan.
Former Sith vs Former Jedi THIS WILL BE GREAT!! Oh, and maul and ashoka’s battle will be at the same time as mace windu and palpatines battle kind of like Obi Wan vs Anikan and yoda vs sidious was in ROTS
And they’re on Mygeeto, I hope we get to see more POV scenes with Order 66 going into effect. I think we’ll at least get Ahsoka and Maul witnessing it for sure. Love you man, keep up your amazing work!! This is the way.
I only discovered your channel at the end of 2019, after rewatching all the movies and before i went to Rise of Skywalker but i must say i love your channel. I have watched alot of your 'what if' series and 'who is more powerfull' theories and now i am really exited to watch all the clone wars seasons and maybe even Rebels.
All I want to see from Rex's ending in the show is him after Order 66, sitting down in a dark room and crying, because of the betrayal of all of his brothers.
I am so excited for this to return! Im note excited than when TFA was announced. Also, keep these videos up. I love just listening to you talking about Starwars!
A few episodes into Clone Wars (in chronological order) and my timing is damn perfect. So happy this is taking place during my favorite Star Wars film ever.
If Count Dooku and Qui-Gon Jinn stayed and lived on Jedi order then it would be Yoda Mace Windu Count Dooku Qui-Gon Jinn instead of Yoda Mace Windu Anakin Skywalker Obi-Wan Kenobi
@Da Ol Jinn was not the strongest duelist, but smart af with the force and all bs so it would all happened differently... Also he would train Ani instead of Obi-wan
Many also think that Qui-Gon would have been able to sense the upcoming danger of order 66 and Dart Sidious, because his mind was clear and he wasn't blind like for example the masters on the council.
@Da Ol I understand your point, and personally I don't really know what to believe, I just saw a video about why Sidious feared Qui-gon. Thanks for sharing your view of this :)
Anakin is more powerful than Mace Windu, Mace literally says this in the ROTS novel to Obi-Wan-Skywalker is arguably the most powerful Jedi alive, and he is still getting stronger. But we can't give him a seat because blah blah blah
@Da Ol Anakin only lost because of his pride. Obi-Wan would have eventually gone down. He was on the run the entire fight, rarely on the offensive. Anakin was no doubt the most powerful in terms of dueling, but like all other sith, he lost due to arrogance and feeling unbeatable.
The second half of Mauls new lightsaber was the one Asajj Ventress used in the novel Dark Disciple. It was originally concepted for eight episodes in Clone Wars starring Quinlan Vos training Ventress. It’s originally a yellow lightsaber. I wonder if we will see something about this
1:41 you can see that he doesn’t have pieces of armour on his arms like he does in previous seasons. Giving further evidence that this take place during revenge if the sith
Read Ashoka (the novel), it imparts a lot of insight on this season, and just in general with the fight w maul Edit: hey sw theory, REX IS ONE OF THE 8 OR SO CLONES WHO GET RID OF THEIR INHIBITOR CHIPS
@@littleblizzard7591 this one is absolutely hit if you like Ahsoka as a character, it shows her life between Clone Wars and Rebels... Something slitely different from all time bzuum zvuum lightsaber battles, but also includes
Little Blizzard just got done reading it and loved it! They didn’t give all the full details of her fight with Maul so we get to see everything that happens between the two of them. If you love Ahsoka you’ll love the book
The extent of how in depth you went with a short trailer is crazy. I watched the trailer as I was like Ahh yeah looks good. You.... Look at Darth Marths lightsaber. Look at Rex. Thank you for pointing out the small things that could end up making big waves
