I can only second that, your "in depth" analysis is really enjoyable. Apart from Eskimo Callboy (MC Thunger/Hypa Hypa) or Rammstein though, I'm not much of a metal fan, so I can't get too much value out of it. But great job anyway!

I'd have to say that I find his explanations interesting and easy to understand (for a lay person such as myself). When he explains the various things, I can hear what he means. Though if I listen to a song without his commentary, I hear nothing of the nuances :D Not that I really care much to understand what I am listening to. I just know what I like. But I find these videos very informative indeed :)

The reason of the "two Layers of Vocals" is because of they have two singers. Nico does actually the singing part and Kevin gives the layer with the Screaming ;o)

You deserve so many more views and subscribers. You are describing the things one is able to hear in those songs so accurate and precise while making it easy to listen to. I am not a native English speaker and still you are teaching me the multiple ways one can hear and enjoy music. You tell me to listen to a drum roll coming in and replay it. Before it went passed me, then u replay it, I can hear it and with that Im able to appreciate the music even more. Thanks for the way you are reviewing music. I feel not only entertained but smarter with a better understanding of song complexity and the work that goes into it. And to be honest, it wasn't even what I was suspecting to get when I went to watch a reaction video. You're pretty dope dude. Keep doing what you do and thanks again.

Fun fact, they filmed this video and Hypa Hypa a day apart. Hypa Hypa was filmed after this one and they created the whole set for it themselves. This was technically the first music video made with their new lead singer, Nico. :))

I'm just binge watching a lot of your reaction videos and I simply love the way you go about them. You're not just going "wow, cool" or whatever, you explain stuff with great ear(?) for the details. For a person like me, not really good with breaking down music, it adds a lot more value to the song itself. It's like going on a journey with a guide that has knowledge, knows how to explain things and has a personality to keep you hooked listening. Kudos

I think you're the best reactor on this platform. You're really taking the time to dissect the song and analyse everything, I appreciate that alot. Imo it's so much more enjoyable to watch than these "OH MY GOD WHAT?" and jaw-dropped "WHAT JUST HAPPENED, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT" reactions. I feel a bit silly that I - once again - have to comment on that. But I find it so fascinating that you've got so much interesting and relevant things to say on so many parts of a video - and there are no cuts at all. You're very eloquent, which I can only be in writing (if I'm lucky), so I appreciate and enjoy that a lot. Your videos are always fun to watch! Btw, Germany's metal scene has always been aware of them but have only ever recognised them as some "foolish idiots with edgy lyrics" more or less. So a huge part of the scene hates them, which is so sad tbh because they actually KNOW their shit. They're great musicians and I'm so glad for them that they're finally getting recognition

Your outro music reminded me of something and I just realised what it is! Really reminds me of the main intro and recurring guitar riff in OM&Ms Broken Generation that leads into that calm, reduced singing bit. Also love your vids! Just watched The Greatest Show on Earth and the three Eskimo Callboy videos in a row. I love the way you give increadibly in depth breakdowns and insights that some people might miss or fail to recognise for their meaning and significance. Awesome videos, happy you like Eskimo, I've been a fan of theirs for years and I've always loved them for their heaviness, whilst also being so different in so many ways and how they have fun with what they do! Congrats on the 20K subs!! Again, amazing how you can break down a song like this and really point out the craft of the artists. In the same genre as them, I want to suggest Steel Panther. Fun to see another side of Eskimo Callboy. I will probably always be partial to Hypa Hypa as it was my first exposure and I love the humor and catchiness of it. The chorus of this one is killer too though. Congratulations on cruising past the 20k sub milestone! I am kind of hoping to wear a "Have a damn good day!" T-shirt soon if you have that in the works. Also excited to see Nightwish tomorrow.

One thing you should know about them is that the guy for the synths, Kevin, also does screams/shouts and backing vocals. Ex singer Sushi and Kevin screamed simultaneously on MC Thunder. I'm not sure how much screams Nico does tho. Pretty sure the screams underneath the cleans on the verse are Kevin's, at least on tje live parts. If you want a better comparison than MC Thunder how the old singer sounded, you should check out Best Day or Crystals

But if its not your cup of tea, no problems ;) For atmospheric blackend death metal (with a lot of instrumentals as well) I would throw in Shylmagoghnar, especially their debut album Emergence either the track Emergence itself or a New Dawn. For Back Metal, I know there are countless good...or better trve...ones, however I would stick with Windir - Journey to the End

John Browne the guitarists from Monuments writes the same way you were explaining earlier in the vid, by picking apart a small handful ideas and minipulating them into a full song, the songs come out very technical and quite dense so it would be cool to see your ear tackle them. Their latest song Animus dropped this year with their new singer Andy Cizek. I would love to hear your thoughts
