Since then, this iconic character has transcended the pages of comic books, making appearances in television shows, films, video games, novels, and even plays. Same here man, I had the trilogy box set to the rami movies, watched the 90s animated series on Netflix in the early 2000's, n watched spectacular series too. Greatest way to get introduced to Spider-Man in my opinion

Tom Holland has had progressive character development in each movie. Last movie literally had them applying for colleges, s he's gonna be in college if they do another movie. He doesn't have Aunt May anymore either, so he's definitely growing up.

@@nalday2534 Of course he did. At the beginning of the movie, he messed up Dr. Strange's spell, trying to change it so his friends and Aunt wouldn't forget he's Spiderman. By the end of the movie, he realized he had to make the sacrifice and let EVERYONE forget him to save the multiverse. He made the sacrifice and ended up being alone at the end.

That MTV Spiderman show was dark lol I forgot about that one and the 90's one and Spectacular Spiderman did the complex relationships so well I gotta rewatch the 90's spdierman tho

The thing I love most about the intro to Spider-Man 2 (2002). Is that the comic art was done by Alex Ross. Who is known for his realistic takes on comic covers. Especially his Spider-Man drawings. Also, I think Tom is a great younger Spider-Man. He learned his lessons made big sacrifices for the greater good. And now he's on his own living as an adult. I personally cant wait to see what happens in Spider-Man 4. Lets not forget that in the comic's. Peter's first outing as Spidey was when he was only 14 years old. MCU just didn't want to skip over his childhood years. Like the first two iterations before him, nothing against Sam Raimi's or Mark Webb's Spider-Man.

Spectacular Spider-Man is one of my all time favorite shows if only it didn’t get cancelled due to Sony plans I know kingpin would have been epic because tombstone was afraid of someone else

I always enjoy watching your videos for the awesome commentary & hot takes. I'm still waiting for a truly grown Spider-Man movie in the vein of Maximum Carnage, so I totally agree that we've had enough high schooler Spider-Man. It'd be awesome to see a Spider-Man movie where both the character & the story are similar to something in the vein of the Todd McFarlane comics from the 90's.🕸

Japanese Spider-Man doesn't just have a zord. He's the entire reason Power Rangers has zords. Way back when, Toei was making three shows, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and Spider-Man. Spider-Man had a notoriously shoestring budget, because Toei could barely afford to produce all three shows. They needed to cut one for next season. The Super Sentai at the time was JAKQ, which wasn't doing well. The original plan was to stop making Super Sentai, and instead make more Marvel shows. They signed a new deal to make four more shows, based on Captain America, Silver Surfer, Thor, and The Hulk. The first show was going to be Captain Japan. It was going to take the same formula that made Spider-Man so popular, and apply it to an entire team of heroes. The team would consist of five Captains from around the world, Captain Japan, Captain America, Captain France, Captain Africa, and Captain Russia. Just like Spider-Man, they would pilot a giant robot. While Captain Japan was in pre-production, JAKQ suddenly took off out of nowhere, and became a massive hit. Toei decided to change plans, and focus on the show they owned, instead of a licensed one. They needed to make up for lost time in developing the follow up to JAKQ, so they reworked Captain Japan into Battle Fever J. Firmly establishing giant robots as a part of Super Sentai.

Sam Rami did not want to put Venom and Sandman together because he wanted separate villains for separate movies but Sony and Columbia execs/producer's were like we need Venom immediately and San Rami had no choice but to cave because they were giving him the money to film part 3 and he wanted Venom to have a horror aspect of the character thank god ruben Fleischer, amy pascal and avi arad did venom 2018 film justice

I don't know. Doing mental gymnastics to try and push responsibility for something big onto someone older than you is a pretty teenager thing to do imo. I used to do that all the time when I was younger. That was also a low point for him after he had just lost Tony, everyone was looking for him to step up, and he just wanted a break from being Spider-Man for a bit.

Everything is on " DEMAND " ..if you liked a show back in the day, you had to show up on time to see it ..the urgency is GONE ..which is the reason why kid stars on Disney and Nickelodeon won't be iconic anymore-- unless your on a Netflix series or more adult themed show smh
