Lmao they are not “showing off” when they are kicking their legs. It’s a natural human reaction to falling, they got bucked off of the bike somehow and they are in almost no control of what happens next.

The worst motocross crash I ever saw happened to a friend of mine in 9th grade. He took a jump too fast at a trick competition and fell 14 feet straight down with his bike landing on top of him. He almost severed his spinal cord and had to learn how to walk again, which took three years. He walked again for the first time at our high school graduation and everybody ugly cried.

It’s cool to see someone that knows little to none about this sport watch something like this, his reaction is priceless

As someone who raced motocross for 8 years I can tell you that this happens all the time and some of these crashes aren’t even that bad 😂

You would not like the one that happened to Cameron Mcadoo last night in Atlanta. Overjumped when face first into a landing and got caught in his handlebars. Did a whole ass front flip and hit his head again. He got up and placed 3rd lmao

I'm a casual rider but I've crashed many times especially when you are first learning to ride. It's all about one trying not to crash(obviously), but two also knowing how to crash to cause the least amount of damage to you and your bike

The dude in the yellow name is ken roczen and that wreck almost made him lose his arm. It took 2 years for him to recover and go back to racing he came back last year. (2020)

The sad part about Enticknap being dragged is it was for his first main event.

Man this is hilarious seeing your react to this sport. I ride motocross and motocross riders are some of the strongest people out there. You should react to Ken Roczen’s recovery because it was really bad and he’s the one in yellow. Also, you should find a video if there is one about how mental this sport is like you have to be mentally strong to be good in this sport or you won’t succeed. Lastly I wanted to say yes I have been on the back of a bike and wrecked before and it’s not fun but you just have to get back up, I was always told to get back up no matter what unless I actually can’t get up or walk. Never mind that won’t be my last thought (lol) but uhm when their legs come off it is almost impossible to get back on and they’re not showing off they got kicked to launched off in some way.

A little insight. It’s funny. Crashes like these you don’t really feel (except the x games stuff) because of all the adrenaline running through you. You get like a huge adrenaline dump right after you get up and get back to the bike. These crashes are often rare too. These are some of the fastest riders in the world giving the bike everything it’s got. When they crash, they’re going all balls to the wall

As someone who rides dirtbike all the guys you just watched were the best in world so you know they were going fast haha, and they weren’t showing off they just get slung off the bikes, loved the video though glad to see the sport get recognized from people who don’t know about it!

The 3rd one with the yellow guy, Roczen, his arm will never be the same in his life again. And his right wrist got stuck in a wheel that was going fast, both of his arms are just robot arms. We call him T-rex

I blew my foot up at the track last year and won't ever walk the same again. Last weekend was my first ride since my crash and it feels so good to be back on the bike! There's nothing like it! Totally worth it lol.

First thing my dad told me when I was younger was its not if you crash but when you crash. 2nd thing he told me was if you can get back up get back on and try again

there used to be a privately hosted event by some land owners and it was acres and acres and i always used to race, for about 5 years twice a year. the most recent year i raced, 2018, the rider in front of me clipped my front tire, handlebars jerked left and i hit a tree at around 60 mph and broke 3 lumbar bones and had 2 herniated discs. still have back problems lol

Welcome to motocross dude, I raced from the time I was 4 until I was 19. Injuries are apart of the sport I had to stop racing after I broke my femur. Also the leg kicking isn’t showing off the bike has bucked them off. Essentially if you hit a bump, whoop, jump, sometimes even a rut just right the suspension kicks the ass end of the bike up and launches you like a catapult. The leg kicking is the body’s natural balancing reaction saying “don’t land on the head don’t land on the head don’t land of the head.

Close friend of mine did pro am motocross. He had a bad crash where one of the handlebars went through his ribcage and had to be cut off the bike to then be surgically removed. He's super lucky to be alive. Dangerous ass sport.

I used to be a flagman at the local motocross track, and i've seen bones sticking out of their jerseys before, and feet facing the wrong direction but both those riders were right back at it after they healed up

Snowmobile crashes. Those are pretty big wrecks, but the snow causes less injuries than dirt. Still pretty gnarly

It takes a special person to love mx, i know a few guys that bought a bike and than realized it is not for them, and it takes a lot of money, sore muscles, blood, and eating dirt to do it, but for that special person it is worth everything they have.
