Yes, Woozi and his regular writing partner DID do a lot of work on the song, and Hoshi spent the (very brief) promotion period bragging on Woozi. I love them. The primary choreographer was Choi Youngjun, who has worked with SVT on a LOT of their title tracks, including the ones with the most iconic choreography. Spider is, imo, the best kpop choreo this year, and nothing else comes close. I definitely get the sense that Youngjun had a lot of fun with this one - a chance to be as creative as he wanted with a talented performer who he's also close with. Everything about Spider is SO Hoshi, and I think you can really tell that some of the main creative minds behind it know him really well, personally and professionally/creatively.

Hoshi is just a big ball of energy, definitely Seventeen's hypeman. Funfact, "Hurricane" intially stemmed as a joke. He mentioned on a show once that he told the group when he debuts as a solo, his debut album will be called "H" and the title track would be "Hurricane" and performed the BU-Ra-ra Hurriance! And then a year or 2 later, he comes out with "Hurricane" at the Seventeen concert. "Spider" was released as a mixtape so he didn't really promote it. I think he only performed it on one music show. If I remember correctly, every member of Seventeen has at least one solo song that they've performed at a concert. Most of them haven't been officially released yet. Off the top of my head, Woozi's "Simple" is the only one that's actually on a Seventeen album. But there's plenty of Seventeen solo songs to go around, you can probably make an entire week just on their solo songs and solo covers. And just accept that you can't have 1 bias in Seventeen and you will be continuously wrecked by every member at some point. Like, one of my current favorite members was one I initially ranked near the bottom of my list, I still slap myself over that xD

Carats really don't mind longer reaction videos. We love it even more when reactors give attention to details and find out more. It's amazing when their work gets appreciated for its entirety. If you even wanna go the extra mile, every release has behind the scenes clip where you get a glimpse of the writing, recording, rehearsal and MV shooting. The behind the scenes series is called "Inside Seventeen" and they are short episodes showing us the whole process in the creation of SEVENTEEN's masterpieces. So like for SPIDER, we have a few behind the scenes where he recorded, rehearsed, shot the MV with the members visiting him on the set, etc. And like with almost all SEVENTEEN releases, whether solo or groups, it is safe to always assume WOOZI has had a hand in composing, writing and producing it. It's very rare that WOOZI gets no involvement in a SEVENTEEN release.

That camera work works well with the choreography because the choreography itself changes direction so if the camera is in one place you can't clearly see what's going on. Btw when this first came out we go crazy to this 🤣we love Hoshi💕

Seventeen doesn't really like gender division. They believe that everyone is equal and that nobody deserves to be treated less than what they deserve. They have a couple of debates about gender equality, one I can recall is when they fought if which was first either the chicken or the egg and they suddenly shifted to a discussion about chicken gender LMAO I SRSLY CANT WITH THEM. Also, notice how their mascot Bong-bong is gender neutral. Most of their songs are also gender neutral. The hiphop unit lets the pledis female staffs check their written lyrics first before confirming it or passing it to Woozi because they are cautious they might offend women with any of those lyrics. Members specially S.coups, Vernon, Mingyu, Wonwoo and The8 buys stuff from women section, wears pride collection clothing and accessories. Not only them though each of the members show their support differently, like Dino reads books in regardss to feminity etc. This group is really filled with wonders

Hoshi is my bias!! Wow his charisma! To me Hoshi and Dino are the members that exude the most sexines, lol... but always in a polished way! Hoshis solo really showed his voice, dancing and facial expressions.

i never really imagined spider to be sexual in any way… i feel it talks more about being trapped with someone and not getting away from them but you don’t really want to anyway… but you still know that even if you wanted, you couldn’t! also fun fact, the pull up bars are supposed to symbolize a spider web… if you look at them zoomed out, they actually do look like one only in square and not in a circle :) also the move hoshi did that you said you liked when he shows his back and moves his arms symbolizes him stuck in a web trying to get out! Hoshi did write and produce (with woozi) and choreograph (with another choreographer) all of it, we love to see it. Yes every member has had solo stages! For their Ideal Cut Concert, they each had a solo stage (they’re all incredible and highly recommended). If you liked his his low speak/ rap voice I suggest you watch a performance of Bring It. it’s a hoshi-woo I duo song and hoshi has a real low part and WHEW

Hoshi was asked in a variety show about what kind of solo he wants, and he said that he wanted to make a solo album titled "H" (because "H"oshi), and the song title would be "Hurricane" They asked him if he has vision of how the song would be and he made up that "burreura Hurricane!" part along with the coreography on the spot. Months (or years maybe, I forgot) later, it actually happened! - If I remember correctly, Hoshi chose the backup dancers for Spider himself.

yayy hoshiii! fyi no carat has just one bias, hoshi is my bias but i literally have four other biases and the rest are bias wreckers also on the info about other members solos, the majority of them do have some, but they weren't promoted like hoshi's mixtape was. so basically their solo stuff is more like solo projects/covers/mixtapes because none of them have promoted on music shows and stuff (with spider as an exception) some examples: the8 - side by side (solo project with a mv) jun - silent boarding gate (solo project with a mv) seungkwan - love poem (cover) vernon - bands boy (mixtape) something that i really enjoy about svt's music too is that since they have so much control over their music they have so many different combos of members in different songs (not in units, just random combinations of members) like: wonwoo & mingyu feat. leehi - bittersweet vernon & joshua - rocket / 2 minus 1 hoshi & woozi - bring it jun & the8 - my i they just do a really good job with making use of their large number of members and i love that they create songs for each of their members to shine!!

Hi! SVT's got one of the best, if not the best dance practices/choreography videos in kpop and I wish I'm just being biased here but its the absolute truth and you will find that out soon when you check their dance practices. Off the top of my head I can recommend their dance practices to Thanks, Fear, Don't Wanna Cry, Call Call Call, Snap Shoot, Home, Anyone... but tbh all of their dance practices are amazing. There is no weak dancer in Seventeen and their synchronization, musicality, INSANE. Oh I cant wait for you to check them out!

Hoshi is my ult SVT bias (though with the recent addition of Jun, I have 5 and counting, the whole band’s ability to wreck your bias line is no joke), so I love seeing him get recognition! Spider isn't actually a solo debut but a mixtape so he didn't really promote it or had like an album. They even shared the link for the mp3 file(yes they the official account tweeted it lol) when it came out cause it wasn't available on most music platforms except for Spotify. It's not even available on Korean music sites lmao. They also released merch and a photobook called The Thirteen Tapes(TTT) when Spider was released so we all thought all the members will eventually release their own mixtapes but... we're still waiting till this day. And yep Woozi helped him with the song. I mean he literally bragged about Woozi every time during the whole thing, but like, he always brags about Woozi 🤣🤣🤣. I suggest watching each of the members' covers/solos/dance videos so you can be more familiar with their voices and faces ^^. Also totally unrelated but did you know that Jessica released 3 singles for this past one month? It was for her and Krystal's reality show. You should check it out too if you haven't 😊.

No, you're definitely right about SVT correlating their songs, to their choreos and concepts, these men are very nitpicky perfectionist-every last one of them-when it comes to cohesiveness about the song, theme, and choreos they put out. And in turn, they turn their fandom into very nitpicky persons as well, I can't stan groups anymore that doesn't do it like them, especially with choreography, I can now easily spot a group that isn't in sync when dancing because of SVT's standards in choreography
